I ordered a coffee maker from them and got a great advice on the brewer, excellent service and a great price. Tom advised me on what he thought would be the best coffee maker for what I needed. He responded to my emails within a few hours. And then Amanda took my order, processed it and got it shipped the next day. They even through a few bags of coffee and some filters. Top notch service and advice. Whenever I am in Spokane I typically drop in one of their locations for a coffee. Always good service and tasty drinks!

Go visit Kaylyn downtown and get yourself a fantastic cup of coffee; a little pick-​me-​up from a sweet, friendly barista is such a wonderful thing!
& they have GF, vegan snacks :)

We always make it a point when we’re in Spokane to stop by here for some great beans to take home to Portland with us. Tried the pumpkin latte today and I am smitten. Great service, too!

Such good hot cocoa! A little hard to find. Staff is always nice and fairly quick. I wish the shop was larger though! A little pricy but I pay for the good service.

I love to support local business but I really don’t like this place:(I have given it four tries mainly because I love the architecture of the structures and the location but I just don’t like the coffee. It is rather way to sweet or burnt. I give it 3 stars because of the business plan and friendly staff.

Great little coffee shop. Staff very friendly, welcoming, and super fast. I had drip coffee and oatmeal. Coffee was fresh and not burnt tasting and oatmeal was just like I like it, hot. Appears to be a local hangout. Would recommend.

Let’s just say every visit I feel inclined to leave a nice tip due to their personal conversation and friendly service. Very informative and helpful if you have questions. Their brews are consistent and so is their service. Would highly recommend this one! Good work Thomas!

There are times in life when you meet people who make a huge immediate positive impact and impression. Jessica from Thomas Hammer Roasting Company Corporate HQ is one of these people. She went out of her way to help us with our request. We were in search of the magnificent pumpkin bread made by Mad Batter Baking Company. Jessica found us a loaf of this wonderful bread. We also went to the Thomas Hammer at the Valley Mall and I had an amazing coffee drink. Mocha with Cinnamon and Honey. AMAZEBALLS!

been there a few times and coffee has been strong, weak. okay… #rd visit employee was stocking, sitting floor, used hands to life herself up and did not wash hands… served customer. she did not know much about the rea and seemed inconvenienced that I would ask her where something in or out of store is.
This is also a sit-​down place for homeless. I was asked for money by numerous people. while other people brought their own food in the joint. doesn’t say much for their menu. all in all the wifi good, the chairs are really uncomfortable

Great place, excellent staff deco decour. One place you need to stop by and sit awhile and enjoy the sites and sounds, coffee and customers. People friendly customers and staff, and yes i agree with the former comment very lovely staff.

Friendly staff, delish coffee… had the iced caramel… something or other… and a breakfast cookie! Yummo! Literally, the first time I have ever had a barista that was not only pleasant, but LOVELY.
I had not been to a TH ever, but it was located next to Jimmy John’s, and that’s where hubs wanted to grab a sandwich, so voila! I had a new opportunity to add to my caffeine-​fest adventure in WA!
I remember having TH coffee once before — it was at an event back when I attended WSU… but since then, I have to admit that it had fallen off my radar.

Pretty standard Americano. This place is very close to a past client, and I know they’re in here all the time. For some reason, though, I almost never went when I was working in Spokane, but knew it was a good fallback when I was here on a short vacation. Someone traveling with me had a hot cocoa that was pretty good, but I didn’t sample, so I can’t vouch personally. I did have some chocolate espresso beans that weren’t so great — very waxy chocolate.
I remember someone talking about a drink here called like… the Strong Hammer, or the Death Hammer, or something dramatic and crazy. It was like, an Americano with an extra shot and then an extra shot of pure caffeine, or something crazy like that. The ultimate «I need to be up for 24 hours» type drink. But I didn’t see it on the menu this time — maybe I am misremembering the name. Or maybe after all those heart attacks, they had to discontinue the «Caffeine Cavalcade» or whatever it was.

Thomas Hammer is where it’s at! This is no StarSUCKs people… this is actual brewed and roasted to perfection local coffee. Ran and owned by a local, Tom knows his stuff and by stuff I mean the coffee and the goods. Who doesn’t want a black hoodie stamped with a hammer logo on it? Stop in here for a yummy Jack Hammer (honey, cinnamon, chocolate) or Fireball (chocolate and orange flavor) and I swear you won’t be disappointed.
