When it comes to liquor stores, I’ll put up with about anything in order to get my booze. But this location leaves me wanting more… The key thing here is selection. I’m not used to liquor stores in Washington, but if I were to compare this one to stores in Minnesota, Illinois, and Kentucky, this store would be out of business. There is very little selection here. Most noticeably, the liqueurs are few and far between. If you’re going to be making some cool drinks, you’re going to have to go to multiple other places, which is annoying. Of course, this is all going to become moot in a few months, as this place is shutting down. Boo.

This is a very happening spot late night. I can hear you saying, «What, it’s just a liquor store?» Yes, but it’s a liquor store that’s open until 10PM on Friday and Saturday, which is virtually unheard of in the state of WA! FYI: It’s right down the street from The Garland movie theater, which still shows $ 2.50 second-run movies and plenty of excellent midnight movies during the Summer. Perfect when you need to get some mini liquor bottles to mix with your pop before/while watching«Monty Python.» NI!

It is a beautiful night, fresh snow on the ground, a mild chill to the air. As you walk through the empty, slippery streets, you wonder, where could all the people be? And then you arrive. Full parking lot, crowded aisles. It is Christmas weekend, a half hour before closing time on a Saturday night. This is the hot destination point of North Spokane. If it is not where it is happening, it is one stop before. Fine selection. Good lighting. Diligent security. Booze.
