Wow, great selection, great prices. We bought board games, fishing gear, water toys, kitchen stuff and so many fun things at great prices. I love this place. I could spend hours here, they sell so many things. The prices can’t be beat.

Been coming here since I was a kid. I love that in over 20 years, I don’t think a damn thing has changed about the store. I remember getting babies there as a kid and now my big girl toys aka guns and ammo now-a-days. :)

Camping, hiking, fishing, hunting… or shopping for games and toys for the kiddos? This just might be the place for you if you are hanging out in Spokane. I was expecting a little more of a military surplus feel, with perhaps some kitsch and some cheaply made stuff, but this is a well organized store offering all kinds of great items whether you are going out in the bush or in for a game of Parcheesi.

Ok I really like this store. The prices on ammunition and guns are very fair! The biggest problem I have is they need to move their gun counter… It sucks to have people waiting in line while someone ahead of u is looking at guns. I even hate to ask to look at a gun I’m thinking of buying because I know it will slow down people waiting in line. But this is still a great place in Spokane to buy a firearm.

We went to Dawn of the Donut for Coffee and Donuts and then headed here for 2 hours. What a great store! We got an Elmo and a pink soccer ball. Sorry if the kid got some Zombie blood(from donuts) on your toys. I hope it doesn’t INFECT one of the Elmos on the shelf! OHHHHHNOOOOOOEEEESSSSS!!! ;) Seriously, doesn’t get better than White Elephant for a family outing especially if you have donuts from just down the street!

I’ll echo most of the comments so far. White elephant is a great place to go and take the kids. Lots of Hunting and camping gear, and toys, model trains, ect. Often busy, but there is plenty of staff that can help you out. The shelves are full of wonderful items.

Um, guns and kids toys? Sure! They have tons and tons of toys at reasonable prices. And they have a bunch of outdoor gear(camping, hunting, etc.). We came and got some toys right before Xmas and found some fun stuff. Lots of games/puzzles…you name it. I was entertained :)

Considering we would drive from Montana to Spokane partly to come here, would explain our love/fascination with White Elephant. We are avid campers, hikers and purveyors of buying stuff we don’t need, this is our go to place. Been to a couple locations, always bought something at each but mainly just loved wandering around. Great for outdoor enthusiasts.

Simply put, I come here because they have faster service than The General Store. At White Elephant, I can get my fishing license without waiting for an eternity. I really don’t buy much here other than that. As a retailer, I have one suggestion for the White Elephant. It’s called a clearance sale. If the box is sun faded, torn, missing parts, or simply unsellable, they will have it at the White Elephant. For example, this store still has Spokane World’s Fair Merchandise from 1974. If it’s on the shelf for more than 36 years, perhaps it’s time to discount the price, and move the item out the door.

Garage sale meets retail. First place to look for toys based on price and selection. Great array of sporting goods too. It is not that pretty of a place, and it is cramped and crowded to get through but well worth it for the money you will save.

Sporting goods i.e. guns, hunting and fishing supplies on one side — toy store on the other. Marketing genius. Naturally I prefer the sporting good section. Couldn’t find the knife section(a girl can’t have too many pocket knives), but I did find the corner where White Elephant is selling souveniers from the 1967 Expo. Salt & Pepper shakers anyone? The staff is knowledgeable about the products and do their best to get you what you need. Word of warning — the clerk behind the cashier counter exchanged ammo for a postal worker(in uniform). Should I feel frightened or assured? You decide.

I have been loving this store since I was like 4 years old. In my early years it satisfied my transformers fix. In my later years it served valuable for camping supplies. This place has a ton of stuff! However, I think it serves its patrons best as an outdoor equipment store with a bitchin toys section for kiddies. They also have a lot of guns on sale. We all want things from each of these categories sometimes…

This isn’t just a sporting good store. They have hardware, camping and hiking gear, games, models, hunting gear, and just about everything else a guy could ever want. The prices are good and people friendly and helpful. And the store itself is fun to shop in. they have things piled on top all around and all over the place, it’s almost like a garage sale but not because it’s way better.
