These cats are doin’ it right! Great Dawgs, tunes, service and bar. Our crewe is trying to find reasons NOT to be here more than once a week. Having been veg for 20+ years, love that they’ve got a veggie option. That being said, you can load that puppy up with so much oohey-gooey awesomeness it would make your«health nut» friends blush. And should you spend a fair amount of time basking in the down-tempo, you will leave with a momento of smell-o-lisciounsess…my coat hangs on to the Dawg fragrance till’ the next day. Recently moved back from Seattle and this place reminds me of my fav Dawg stand there… only better in that they have a roof to shield you from the rain. Two thumbs way up, cheers to the Dawgs crewe!

Yea! Dogs gone wild! I’m so happy Wild Dawgs is alive and kicking. Best hot dogs in Spokane. This is a fun late night spot too — cheap eats, beer, friendly staff. The rolls the hot dogs come on are huge! You need it though, to hold all those delicious toppings. Don’t pick and choose the toppings, just embrace the weird. It tastes good!

Super small hole in the wall(holds max maybe 20 people) order on one end. of bar and pick up on the other. Some very creative toppings that are piled high with quality ingredients on stadium buns. We ordered 2 sodas, 2 crazy yummy dogs, and 2 chips for like 18 bucks. Not tooo shabby Enjoyed the first quarter of the super bowl with a small little group of people who were also enjoying the best football food EVER. The all-american food, known as the hot dog.

On our business trip to Spokane, we came across this place on Unilocal. It was one of the few places still open, so we decided to check it out. Immediately as we approached the front door, loud music was blaring from inside. There was also a couple sitting in the patio that could barely keep their hands of each other. Hmm… I thought, this should be an interesting night! Good thing we didn’t have our kids with us because I don’t think this establishment is too kid friendly. :D We tried the I Love Spokane hotdog. As one of the employees was preparing it, we noticed him pour a bag of store-bought chips into our red basket with the dog. I guess it gave me a little bad impression to see them pour the store-bought chips. Sure, I didn’t think the chips would be gourmet, but still… Maybe they should’ve preped everything in the back. Just saying. Well, the dog was extremely good! Would come back on another visit.

So I had to update my review to 5 stars. I really think it is just that good. The only reason I had given them 4 stars before was they had so loud and what I considered obnoxious music playing. It hasn’t been that way since, so maybe they read my review? Anyway, the food has always been fantastic. If you a looking for just a regular hot dog, this place is not it. If you want something that is totally different and tasty give Wild Dawgs a try. Service has always been good and if you are in the mood for a beverage, they have a bar with daily drink specials. Ask about the«dog of the month» as they are always truly unique! You’ll leave full and your wallet won’t be empty either.

This joint is just different. You’re not getting a hot dog in a hot dog bun. You’re getting a dog in what I would describe as a kosher style roll. I ordered the It’s Complicated. Not bad and tasty. You can’t come in here thinking oh it’s just a boring hot dog. The hot dog is different and served differently than what one would expect. I came in on a Thursday so $ 1 PBRs. WHAT!!! You just can’t beat that. All in all, it was groovy and I’ll stop in again.

Service is good. Food is great. High quality dog. The bun to dog ratio is great very interesting flavored. Normally I would not venture into these favors. After my first dog I’m hooked. What makes a dog better, more pig, namely ham and bacon. I say this is well worth a stop.

This is a hair back kind of a meal if you know what I mean(probably only women will understand, or guys with long hair I suppose.) You’ve got to mentally prepare yourself for the size of hot dogs that get brought to your table. They have great combinations of flavors on the menu and quite a few of them contain a pineapple sauce that may deter you from ordering that choice initially or make you wanna say, «hold the pineapple sauce please,» but you should just embrace it. I know it sounds funny when it’s being mixed with hot dog, crumbled up chips, and cream cheese, but you really don’t notice it that much. It just adds a little sweet tang. I was hesitant at first, but I ordered the I Love Spokane dog WITH pineapple sauce, and am very happy I did. The hot dog bun is ridiculously big and you would also think, «uhh that bun to dog ratio is 2:1,» but after you’re done with the hot dog you have left over bun that has all that delicious goop* on it, so don’t let that go to waste. *goop: proper way to describe delicious hot dog toppings The waitstaff is awesome, too. The waiter sat down with us and chatted for a bit while taking our order and it felt like he was just one of our friends. If you’re in the mood for great service and a hot dog that is more than just mustard drizzled on top, this place is a must. I’m warning you, though, bring your appetite!

Gimmicky and against the grain but dang it’s a good hotdog. I got the ‘I Love Spokane’. An amazing concoction, not for the hotdog but for the warm flaky bread and the toppings. I would eat any type of meat on that bun with those toppings… bacon, cream cheese, grilled onions, and whatever the pineapple sauce is. A little gem downtown. Worth a quick stop for whiskey and a gourmet hotdog. I would definitely come back regularly if I lived here.

We weren’t expecting much from this place when we stopped for some food, but the premise seemed neat. Gourmet hot dogs? Kind of cool. The food turned our to be amazing. My one complaint is that everything comes with a side of chips, and I really don’t care for them. But the rest – including the service – was great! Lots of yummy food(the hot dogs are huge) in downtown Spokane for cheap!

Spokane, WA: How did I not write a review? 05/03/2015. Just finished an invigorating first time, for me, Spokane Lilac Bloomsday Run, where I walked the 12K/7.46 miles, and wanted something fun but good to eat in celebration and close to Riverfront Park! Unilocal to the rescue! FOOD «Dawgs Gone Wild» dawg: ham, grilled onions, mozzorella, ketchup, dipping sauce, spicy sauce, pineapple sauce(2.0 stars) «I Love Spokane» dawg: cream cheese, grilled onions, mushrooms, bacon, mozzorella, ketchup, dipping sauce, pineapple sauce(4.0 stars) This was definitely an ‘off-course’ on our gluten free diet but worth the taste opportunity. Not your ordinary hot dog but with unique enhancements that added to the enjoyment of my «I Love Spokane». Served on what looks to me like a fresh Poor Boy sandwich roll, with a side of potato chips, this was a perfect casual and festive meal. Alas, hubby did not have as good an experience with his«Dawgs Gone Wild», just in general. He felt $ 7 was a bit much for essentially just an overpriced, meh hot dog. We found several outside table to choose from and watched the many«Bloomies», and their supporters, walk by as we ate our meal.

Was very excited to try this place. Heard about it a couple times. My wife and I were in town for a meeting and stopped by after. The happy hour pricing on drinks was awesome. Decent beer selection and over all the alcohol side of the experience was pretty decent. The food was ok. The menu was written well and the options sounded great. We ordered several dogs to share including the special. Except that the special had a little bit of a spicy hint to it they all tasted the same. We ordered the I love Spokane dog the Anthony wiener and the special which was pulled pork on a dog with slaw. Lots of bread to the bun. Great if your loading it up but it was really a lot of bread. Another reviewer mentioned they thought some toppings came from a can. Big deal. What does that matter I couldn’t get past the flavor of the hot dog. It was so strong. They all tasted the same. I hate to say it but it tasted exactly like a hot dog from Costco. And Costco dogs have such a strong and distinct flavor you just can’t get around it. Plus I got to taste it over and over again the rest of the night when I burped it up. Worth $ 7 per dog? I don’t think so. But if you are in enjoying a great couple drinks with some friends it will do the trick. The place tends to lean heavy on the innuendo of there name and logo. If it offends you get over yourself. If that’s a problem for you I am willing to guess the owner and employees will be happy you didn’t stick around. Have a little fun. Everyone like a wiener!

My husband got the special here once, it was pulled pork on a hotdog, it blew his mind it was so good! Last week though the special was a Seattle dog with cream cheese(not really something he wanted). The dogs are housed in a sheath of bread which makes sense if you plan to overload them with toppings but it’s a lot of bread. Nice outside patio area. Good spot if you want a hot dog.

Half an hour after ordering we eventually got a decent hot dog with mediocre toppings, some of which were fresh(onion) and some of which came out of a can(mushrooms and tomatoes). The other customers and apparently some of the staff also apparently found our fellow convention-goers excellent targets to mock while we were sitting right there. If you want to get trashed off expensive booze and stare at a t-shirt with badly drawn sexual innuendo while listening to really loud music, this is your place. I’m sure it’s great for date nights. For myself, the convention center had less expensive hot dogs of equal quality with equivalent toppings and better atmosphere.

ERMAHGERHHHHHD. Wild Dawgs made me believe in the power of the daaaawwg!!! I was in Spokane for a conference & the first thing I did(Oh, but of course) was take to Unilocal. This place stood out to me because a) it had one ONEDOLLAR sign — Ya girl is on a budget, k? I’m down for those«$» signs they make me want to party in the USA — & b) it’s rating and the pictures of all the dawggggs. So my head immediately was like before you leave this weekend you will try this place and I have no regrets. I ordered the«I love Spokane» Dawg because I felt like there was no better way to epitomize my trip to this city. I’m not going to lie to you though, I was nervous. I was like… okay this is going to go one of two ways because WHY is there cream cheese on my hot dog?! But I really don’t know, but it works! It just does! For $ 7 you can get a juicy and pretty large sized hot dog that’s super filling depending your appetite. Every dog comes with a side of chips, which helps balance the juicy heart meatiness with the salted chips! Mmmmmm! My friends got the Dogs Gone Wild & Mmmm, that one was delicious as well. Juicy and delicious! They do also serve flatbread pizzas, but I feel like if you’re coming here and this may very well be your only chance… go for a Dawg. It’s worth it. Trust. The ambiance of Wild Dawgs is pretty chill. There’s a bar and 5 – 6 tables, but only one table that can sit a semi-large party(about 6 people), but there’s also seats outside on the patio. I really was digging the vibe because there was a lot of beer signs and what not posted all over and it just felt really cohesive and I don’t know it’s just me but added to the Wild Dawg vibe. Customer Service was really good too! Servers were attentive, kind and super patient. When we we first arrived we perused the menu really trying to get a food feel on what we wanted, but when we did he was able to recall what we wanted at a drop of a hat and never failed to check in on us to see how we were doing, refill waters, or ask us if wanted any other drinks/food items. I wish I could’ve tried some of their beers on tap, but alas I was here for business and still had other business to attend to. You pay at the register & checks can be divided and paid individually. Since I didn’t get anything to drink besides water my total came out to $ 7 flat, so yes folks tax I suppose is included(or tbh I don’t know if there’s just different laws in Washington because I’m from out of state). A definite plus for this place is its hours. They’re open pretty late, which is great for many of us who get hungry late at night, get the drunchies, or have weird sleeping and eating habits! One thing you should be aware of, however, is that AFTER10PMTHEYDOCHECKIDS!!! You have to be 21 after 10:00PM to be able to enter & at first I was like, «What? Okay, understandable, but okay.» But then I realized it’s probably in everyone’s best interest for the youngins’ cause once 10:00PM rolled around a small group of young adults came in and they weren’t rowdy, but they did start to get their drink on and it was noticeable but hey I’m always down for a good drank or too so I’m not judging! However, my friends and I came around 9:45PM and we had someone underage with us and we didn’t get ID’d. Basically, if you come in before 10PM even if it’s cutting it semi-close-kind-of-I-guess…you should be fine. Overall, it’s a solid place to get your grub on or grab a pint if you desire. Definitely seems like a Spokane favorite(at least based on Unilocal reviews and word of mouth from people I bumped into while I was visiting) You should definitely try if you’re in town! Can’t wait to come back if I ever find myself in Spokane again, I want to try their other dawgs forsureee!!! ALSOOOOOOO… + I heard a table near me ask for utensils! Keep in mind this is an option because these dogs are bigger than you expect and for those with smaller mouths, cutting it up may be an easier and safer option for your clothes: P + There is a restroom in the back, it’s unisex! + The spicy sauce they mention they add to their dawgs is literally just siracha.

OHMYGOD… Dare I say it? THESE W*****S AREORGASMIC. Okay, moving on. While on a business trip in Spokane, my friends decided they wanted to try this place after hearing good reviews about it. When we got there, we were the only people in the small joint, but I didn’t think anything of it, as I was distracted by the interesting décor and friendly worker! It took a while to decide what to order, but I think majority of our group of 6 ordered the Dogs Gone Wild, while I ordered the I Love Spokane. The male worker there was very friendly and nice to talk to :) On to the dog… EVERYONE loved their hot dogs! We took ours togo to eat at our hotel, and I barely remember much conversation besides the occasional laughing at Spongebob on TV. Everyone was busy savoring their food. I have NEVER in my life been full off just one hot dog(it usually would take me maybe 3 or 4 to really be full, I just never indulge…) but Wild Dawgs are LEGIT belly-stuffers! My «I Love Spokane» made me a believer in pineapples in hot dogs for life. While it was a disaster trying to finish it(my dog pretty much exploded on me), I enjoyed every moment savoring the variety of flavors. The hot dog itself was juicy, and spiced just right! The buns were also interesting… very thick, textured, and paired perfectly with the dog! The potato chips were a nice added surprise, as well :) I’m extremely saddened that I can now only dream of these delicious indulgences… as I live in California :( I WILLBEBACK… SOMEDAY!

I have been interested in trying this place for a while, but there always seemed to be a deterrent, until today. The man behind the counter was smiling and cheerful when I walked in. After perusing the menu, I chose Dogs Gone Wild(mozzarella, ham, bacon, grilled onions, ketchup, pineapple sauce) and a Coke. It came with potato chips and the whole meal only cost $ 9.00. My hot dog was a mixed experience. I should have asked for silverware, because the toppings were piled high and the bun was very wide(not to mention fluffy and good). However, my server seemed very busy, so I just picked it up and started in. The dog itself was delicious, and the toppings were good, but something about the combination didn’t thrill me. Trouble is, there are so many flavors interacting that I’m not sure what the issue was. I plan to go back and try another dog, but I think it will be better at night, and possibly paired with an adult beverage. I think the other issue for me is that this is a heavy meal for lunch. Next time I will go for dinner, choose a different hot dog, and update this review. Today’s experience was 3.5 stars, but a friendly server will always gets an extra half star from me. Until next time.

Wonderful hotdogs. My husband got the 5 cheese macaroni and cheese with toasted bread crumbs and hot sauce with a side of chips. $ 7.00 I got the Greek hot dog with tatziki sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and feta with a side of jalapeño chips. Fantastic! $ 7.00

Hot dawwwwg this place is good! — Had to. This place is just down the street from where I work, so my friend and I decided to come here during our lunch break for the first time. I’ve always heard good things about this place, so I was excited to come here since hot dogs hold a special place in my heart. When eating the average dog, I typically eat two, but I noticed most patrons around me ordering one, so I followed suit. I’m glad I stuck with one because these babies come loaded! I got the«I Love Spokane» dog because it seems like their specialty. The hotdog had a medley of ingredients that made you question how they came up with the recipe, with toppings such as mushrooms, pineapple sauce and cream cheese. However, the flavors complemented each other so well; I’ve never had a hotdog this crazy/amazing in my life! It takes talent to be able to find various flavors that complement each other so well, and I am excited to go back and try out the rest of their menu!
