It’s been almost two days and I’m still thinking about the Irish Benedict. House cured corned beef brisket and real hollandaise. Absolutely unbelievable! My wife had the banana pancakes and they are fantastic. Carmelized bananas!

Overall this place was pretty good but by no means the breakfast utopia it’s been made out to be. The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is nice and upbeat. I grabbed the breakfast poutine which, admittedly, wasn’t a great idea. French fries in the morning isn’t a great way to star the day. They were definitely tasty but were also quite heavy and I was definitely underwhelmed and a little remorseful by the time I called it quits. All in all Yards is worth a look, but don’t go in expecting to have your wildest dreams exceeded.

The wait was a little long, the food took just a little long due to crowd(that’s good) BUT the wait staff was beyond accommodating and the food was excellent. It was definitely worth it. We’ll definitely come back. Great spot!

Not quite ready to jump on the Yards band wagon. I had the Irish Benedict and was very pleased. It was delicious. However, the portions were small(sorry I’m a sucker for value) and I was just underwhelmed by the experience overall. I know I’m in the minority here and maybe I came in with too high of expectations. I had heard very good things, but didn’t walk away from this one wanting more.

Yards Bruncheon was such a delightful place to spend our Sunday morning! We parked on the street adjacent to the road the restaurant is on. This was unnecessary, as we saw on our way in that there were closer spots. When we left, though, none of those spots were still available, so it may depend on how early you get there. We walked in and saw a bright, trendy, well-decorated restaurant. I loved everything from the mint green wall color to the art to the hanging lantern-looking objects near the front of the restaurant. We were seated in about 5 minutes. The menu made it difficult to choose, but only because there were so many amazing options! I ended up going with the breakfast burrito because I adore avocado and was intrigued by the addition of cream cheese. My boyfriend got the breakfast burger. We also shared a mimosa flight, and he had what I think was basically a Moscow mule with huckleberry. My breakfast burrito was great. I really liked it. I can’t handle a ton of spice, but the chorizo thankfully wasn’t very. There was cilantro in it which I usually don’t like but it worked in the burrito. The mimosa flight was amazing! We got mango, raspberry, and grapefruit. So refreshing! My boyfriend asked for his burger to be rare and it was definitely well done. A little disappointing, but he still ate it all and thought it was delicious! He’s of the belief that most red meat is better rare so I’m sure he would have enjoyed it more if it had been cooked right but he still liked it. The restaurant was full and there were several tables of children but no one was loud or disturbed us, allowing us to have a nice and relaxing breakfast! I really liked it here and could see us making this a regular breakfast stop in the area. Before we moved here, I read some articles/comments hating on the Spokane food scene — we’ve only been impressed so far! Excited to come back.

This place is always packed for brunch on Sunday, but the food is always good and the service is amazing. I love that the menu changes depending on the seasonal harvest. I would recommend the huckleberry pancakes and anything from the«Savory & Eggs» section.

This is a great place for breakfast. There prices are very affordable and the food is fresh. The only downside is the amount of tables is not enough for the amount of traffic they get. They sometimes run out of menu items which can lead to a big disappointment especially when it happens to be gravy. This place would be 5 stars in my book, the only negative part was the rare times they run out of items.

Let me start by saying that I don’t often seek out breakfast foods. As delicious as they are, I can usually make better at home. Yard’s reminds me of why it’s worth it to let someone else cook from time to time. I had the Breakfast Poutine, which is fries layered with succulent candied bacon gems, rich country gravy, sausage, cheese, topped with two eggs, which I’d ordered over easy so the yolk melted into the rest of the goods. My cohort on crime got the Country Fried Steak, which was loaded with the same gravy, beautifully breaded, and with eggs and diced potatoes. Another accomplice got the«Petite» Breakfast, which as the quotes indicate, wasn’t so petite. It still graciously filled a good sized plate. To top it off, $ 6 for a decent Bloody Mary made for a pretty yummy meal.

Love this place. Awesome vibe and great menu. I have such a hard time deciding because there are so many healthy, fun options! Last time I went there I got the carrot ginger soup and a side of pasta salad. It was so amazing. The next time I go back I really want to try the beet burger!

Got the chicken and waffles and was not expecting popcorn chicken… yeah, technically it’s chicken, I guess. Everyone else’s dish looked way better than mine so I’m willing to give it a four star review and the promise that I’ll be back to give it another shot.

Ate here 3 times, sometimes its quite a long wait to get in for breakfast(really a turn off if you are hungry). I really like all of the salads they have, and they make a great vegetarian BEET burger… unique and tasty! Ive also had the regular burger, and the benedict. The menu has a good variety, and food is very consistent. I did have one day where the wait staff seemed upset, but I think it was because they had several large groups which seemed problematic. If you are near Kendall for breakfast/lunch, try this place!~

Great spot for breakfast or a late brunch. The reviews had some comments about slow or bad service, but it to be the opposite. The staff was extremely friendly and very fast. It definitely gets busy on the weekend but they work to get the food out and the tables turned. Their house drip coffee was good and free upon check in with Unilocal. The most reviews for Yard’s was for their Chorizo and Egg tacos and their Huckleberry pancakes so I tried both(not on the menu but they let you order the pancakes as singles for 2.99). Both were delicious. The chorizo tacos(3) came with all the fixings including thoughtful lime wedges to help season. Spot on. Equally great were the huckleberry pancakes which were both stuffed with huckleberries as well as garnished with some great wild huckleberry syrup and butter. I finished off with a huckleberry shake to go, leaving full happy and eager to return. Highly recommend this trendy little spot in a very fun and upcoming part of Spokane.

This is one of the best breakfast places in Spokane! It’s crowded over the weekend, so I would try to go during the week. But either way I think it’s worth the wait! The pancakes are so delicious and the specialty lattes are very good as well! The service could be better but the food makes up for it! We got our food on time and our coffee right away! So if they just had more smiles on, this place would rock!

Yards is a great breakfast spot in the hippest new area of town– Kendall Yards. The location is charming, and the interior design is quite nice. The food is consistently great, my favorite dish being the B.L. Toad in a Hole with a side of tater-tots(whatever you do, get the tater-tots… So crispy and delightful). Also, their pancakes are the bomb. Unfortunately, they don’t really come in a meal with anything(if I’m remembering correctly). Usually I get an order and the whole table shares them though, so it’s not a big deal. In my experience I wouldn’t necessarily call the staff friendly. Certainly not unfriendly, but neutral maybe? With that said, don’t let that deter you from checking this place out for one second! You will be happy you dropped in!

MYBESTOFBRUNCHSPOKANE Open EVERYDAY(On your day off take your Grandma here!) I am a big fan of Yards Bruncheon. I have a little bit of an obsession with Yards actually. Ask my whole family– and they will assume that I want to go to Yards if I suggest breakfast. The conversation goes like this… «Hey Mom, want to go out for breakfast?» «Oh, so you want to go to Yards?» Yards is easy to like because they have a ton of variety on the menu and they do it all well. I can highly recommend the caramelized banana pancakes, the kale salad and the coffee selection. They are highly kid and baby friendly. **And if you want to snag a morning cocktail they have a huge selection.

With a Unilocal check in you get a free fine cup of coffee made by one of our good ol’ roasters, the roast house. I ordered a bacon waffle which was divine!!! It came with warm maple syrup and whipped butter with pecans or something. Lovely breakfast, fair prices, clean diner atmosphere in a hip part of town. And on a sunny day to top it off. I recommend checking out Yards.

The breakfast poutine is life changing! Their breakfast cocktails are also wonderful. The service is speedy and that combined with the ambiance makes you feel like you’re in an old school diner! The wait gets really out of hand, which is my ONLY reservation about giving this kicky spot five stars!

Great atmosphere! Super friendly staff. Great suggestions. I tried the Breakfast Poutine per the recommendation by two servers. It was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. My buddy tried the Ham & Cheese Omelette and asked for tomato and the server asked if he wanted a smoked tomato or regular. It was a large slice in the center and a great accent flavor! Food took awhile to arrive considering they weren’t that busy. But the taste and quality was worth the wait. Besides franks diner this will be the main place I brings friends and guests for breakfast now.
