I love Zolas. The atmosphere is amazing. Fun hipster bar at it’s finest. Nice chill feel to it. There are recycled materials used throughout the entire place. From the furniture to the bar to the light fixtures! The carnival ride seating upstairs is my personal favorite. The happy hour isn’t the best variety wise, but the drinks are good and it goes til 7! The food is top notch bar food. My favorite is their mac and cheese! It has been a staple on their menu for a reason. It is cheesy and rich and has bacon. So basically perfect. I also enjoy their tacos and sliders! I actually have yet to have a bad item from their menu. I doubt I will any time soon. The only knock would be that sometimes the staff is a little too chill and they seem to forget about you. But more often than not I have good service. Zolas is a downtown MUST! Can’t wait to go back.

Ordered a get naked and tini something… Both drinks where extremely tasty. Tasted a little weak but I don’t complain too much on that as I have been a bartender and don’t expect a extremely heavy poor but when I order something that’s a martini type drink I expect something a little stronger(as both where under under martini section) Anyway, we ordered four food menu options. Rosemary frys– very good came with cream sauce– pretty good I like frys a little crispier but had good flavor. Caesar salad came with something I got, it was super good. Got mushroom and steak in a gravy sauce with garlic bread– good. Got there ribs which came with cole slaw, Cole slaw was very basic, nothing to write home about, ribs had a good amount of meat, I like that, but not too much flavor. Then lastly we ordered the Mac n cheese which we where most excited about, right when i looked at it I was disappointed it didn’t have a nice crispy cheesy baked crust looking on top, then after taking a bite I was surprised how extremely salty it was(and I love salt) and then after trying to take a second bite with both me and my husband we found a black hair.(Which actually doesn’t upset me to bad I have worked in restaurants my whole life and it just happens sometimes but Mac n cheese flavor disappointing and steak n mush super salty too. Light flavor ribs. Our server was extremely nice and helpful. I would try again but only want to try mostly drinks as food was something I feel I could make at home better for less money and much smaller menu then I expected.

Great atmosphere! Good food and drinks. It’s a nice spot to chill and listen to a band during HH into dinner. Their Moscow mules are pretty good. I usually order the fish and chips, super tasty. The service can get a little slow, esp during peak hours, but they’re all pretty nice.

Spokane has many great places to eat. Zolas remains my favorite place to visit and here is why. First, music 7 days a week! They feature local artist and have had some great performers like Karrie O’Neil Second, the food is light affair. More of a tapas menu which helps the road warrior bloat. Lastly, the place is a work of art. Do this place, your per diem will go a long ways.

This was a fun place. I was in town with some co workers, we decided to give this place a shot. We came on a Monday night and pretty early too. We had one of each of the appetizers and the sliders were amazing! Great happy hour prices and items. We stayed all night when the band started playing about 830 the place got busy fast. Not bad for a Monday night.

This is the second time my husband and I visited Zola. We come to Spokane once a year and Zola is our home away from home. Great service, Great food, Great live music and really love the rustic atmosphere. Cover was reasonable $ 5 for some great music. Uppercut was playing and the played a variety of music from all 80s, 90s, 00s, and popular pop music. We will come again and highly recommend this fun yet relaxed atmosphere. Food and and drink prices reasonable.

We are never disappointed. We love the drinks(we tried Messy Sex and Panther Something) and both were good. We always love the sliders and fries. The price is right, the food is consistent… they have all day Happy Hour on Sunday. Great place to go!

The man that answered the phone this evening at 6p should really learn some manners. Zero phone etiquette and incredibly impatient. You’re obviously unhappy. Chase your dream.

Used to go to this place every time I was back in town. Advertised industry discount on Tuesdays, talked to bartender about it but when server dropped bill no discount. Asked about the special and was told it was too late, there was no way to reverse the charge. Seriously? I’ve used every POS under the sun, you have to be able to void a charge. Asked for manager was told there wasn’t one… worst«Industry» treatment I’ve ever gotten. Boo won’t be back.

Great food, great crowd, great bands. The specialty drinks are cool for dates, but I’m an IPA and whisky cowboy.

When the staff out number the people in a bar you would think you would have good service. No so here, my drink order was put on my table with out a look at me but at the band. I was going to order some food but I guess the band is more important.

If I can’t give half stars, I suppose with this one I will round up instead of down. After reading reviews I didn’t really have high hopes for this place but it was actually pretty great. The décor is fun and funky, the food wasn’t bad and the service was fairly attentive. I met my date at the front and she proceeded to show me around. I loved the small rooms they have available and imagine they could make it feel like your party is the only party happening. We made our way upstairs and sat in old tilt-a-whirl I’m fairly certain was purchased after some horrific carnival accident(ok, that probably didn’t happen). We ordered beer and shrimp tacos which weren’t very impressive. I mean, don’t call them mojitos something whatever shrimp tacos and then not even garnish them with a lime, that’s lame. Still being a tad hungry we ordered fries(tavern and sweet potato), those were much better and the Gorgonzola cheese dip was to die for. That’s probably just because I love cheese but we are going with it. While we ate and chatted a band came on at some point and even though it was distracting it wasn’t obnoxiously loud. At the end of the night I found my tab to be more than reasonable. All in all, I would go again. Probably not on a Friday or Saturday but its definitely a gem for Sunday.

I have been here at least a dozen times and I am always impressed. I can go get a drink at any bar, but the thing that I love about this place is the atmosphere. I love the upstairs with the old tilt-a-whirl rides as part of their seating. Great Idea! The lighting is really good as well. They have live music on multiple week nights including the weekends. Also, they have a great twist on their food. Great spot for date nights!

I know this is the Gonzaga and Hipster Hangout or the occasional middle aged tango. I think thats great, the part that gets me is the RUDE servers that I encounter on every occasion. I have had my check be incorrect many times and every time they say they cant re-open a closed check. WTF is this, they just make you pay for items you didn’t order because they cant do something as simple and fix your check. I highly recommend checking your checks and standing up to these crooks. I eventually had the sever apologize when he(Tall Hipster with the red beard. who always bartends there and needs to take a vacation because he is out of his mind rude to people) realized that I was just trying to get the right check and not trying to ruin his EMOtastical Hipster life in SPOKANEWA!

Came here for dinner on a Thursday night with the lady. I got the Zola Cubano sandwich and she got something with turkey, pesto, tomatoes… Both were delicious. They weren’t on a printed menu but were written on the chalk board as «Sandwich Specials» so I am not sure if they will always have them. They came with fries and some amazing sauce that I can’t remember the name of. Best part, they were $ 7 each! Our server was pretty cool, since it was dinner time she initially wasn’t sure if they were still making the sandwiches, but she checked with the kitchen and they were ay-ok cranking out a couple more. It must be primarily a lunch thing. We sat in the very front of the place and didn’t get to see the whole back until we went to the restroom before leaving. This place has some awesome décor! Along the right side are little, halfway enclosed tables, there was a stage with a band getting ready to play, and an upper balcony area, which was pretty impressive cause the building is not very large. They have some sort of a special every night of the week. For instance one day is 20% off for service industry workers, another night is $ 9 pitchers, another was half of a glass of wine. Overall very cool place with a great value. I will definitely be back.

The best part of Zola is the décor. Very open, yet with many nooks and crannies if you want a private date night. Love the tilt-a-whirl style seats on the second floor with easy viewing access to the stage. There has been live music every time I’ve gone(Wednesdays and Fridays) and must say Bossame(which plays every Wednesday this summer) was phenomenal! Just love the atmosphere of the entire place. This spot is trendy and fun. I want to become a regular at this place. Food is also really good, perfect for sharing. Their Mac & Cheese was creamy and delicious. Drink selection was cool and definitely fun to try things like«Sex Panther» or «Get Naked,» but they are light on the alcohol… more like juice.

Come for the drinks… not the food. My husband’s Po’Boy was hotter than the lowest pit in hell. Pretty sure that’s not what a pulled pork should taste like, but hey, what do I know? The mac and cheese was ok but bland. I found myself adding a lot of salt and pepper to it and there wasn’t much cheese sauce. The overall atmosphere is cool though.
