A real classic, no frills diner with filling, bang-for-your-buck breakfast standards. It’s fun to sit by the window on a sunny morning and watch small planes land. Don’t order a full order of biscuits and gravy unless you’d like to have a heart attack on your way out to the parking lot. The coffee is no great shakes, but your waitress will dutifully refill it before it falls below half-empty. Update: it gets a tad slow when slammed — and sometimes even when nearly empty — but I’m still a faithful fan. Try the Lil Dilly; it’ll fill you up until dinner.

My friend from Lone Rock brought me here for breakfast — it was delicious! Considering its location, the place offered a genuine Wisconsin experience — the men a few tables over were talking about their cows. The biscuits and gravy were yummy, and my pancake hit the spot. It’s a quaint place that only takes cash, but for a diner experience, it can’t be beat! (It’s diner food, but mostly tables as opposed to counter service.)
