I went today to pick up a light lunch. Egg drop soup and vegetable chop suey.
The place was a mess food left out on the counter, shrimp, pork, and something I did not recognize. Nothing iced to keep cold. The cooks and helpers did not wear hairnets, aprons, or gloves.
Palace that breeds cross contamination, and, food born illness. No temps, are used.
Also wrapped raw food Ina used grocery bag.
I will never order from there again. Sanitation should be their number one concern.
The help look unclean. The doorways open no screen to keep insects out.
Sorry folks I was a restaurant manager and this is not up to code.
I am reporting them to the health department of Hernando County.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. The taste definitely seems a notch above the others that I have tried plus they are extra accommodating. I normally bet the Singapore noodle (very good), Kung Pao Shrimp (with $ 2 extra shrimp, the shrimp are a good size), sweet and sour chicken, chicken in black bean sauce or General Tsos and all have been good. They also do good lunch specials.
Well worth checking out if you are looking for a good Chinese in the area.
