Flammer Ford & Spring Hill, Inc

So as a young woman i feel inspired to tell you about the stellar experience i had with Flammer Ford. I have just recently moved here and i needed a new vehicle. I called up and spoke with Art we made appointment and met 3 days later. He was waiting for me with a car ready to test drive. It was a wonderful experience!!! He ran all my info for me and was completely honest with what would fit my budget. I was treated with the utmost respect and will be using them for all my servicing needs as well as recommending them to all my friends and family… There is nothing better than being respected and treated like family from a car dealership!

Okay I’ve been inspired to update and do some reviews on my Unilocal today and so i was not going to do one for Flammer cause my experience is bad but i see a lot of people saying good things about them when i did not receive the same experience! First i will share i Did purchase a New 2016 Ford Fusion but not from this Dealership! I am also writing this Review for a friend whom bought their SUV from them and had a recal as well as a Oil change come up and went in and boy i cannot believe what they said to him in the service Department! okay first with me (Now you see the need for me too do a review as follows) follow along with me… I went in late November early December to do car shopping Iv’e been single for a while and my Ex well handled everything, so i never had credit nor needed it! I dound myself starting over after a bad break-​up, so i was establishing my credit, got a credit card, my own banking etc. I decided to look for a Car, i seen Flammer it looked like a nice big outfit here in Spring Hill, so went online talked to a online support who had a Gentleman by the name (Nickname) Gunner for being in the Military i found out later to be my salesman to see about purchasing a car! Gunner Contacted me and we went over things he told me to come in and see him and he’d work with me! Okay now here is where it started wrong i arrive there at Flammer and he met me shook my hand then handed me off to some young lady (Very Young like early 20’s)whom looked to have been office personnel?) And said (I do not remember her name being so mad at this) will handle and show you some cars? Well she walked me to A CAR and said here is one Gunner wanted to show you, like i had one and only one choice Now let me share i was going at first to possibly consider Leasing a car cause my sister leased and said Shay leasing is better! so it was my first intention so let me put that out there first! Ok so one car and the cheapest model they had we talked a minute me my girlfriend Rikki and this young lady i asked her some questions which she did her best to answer but you could tell not qualified at all! then Gunner comes out and says while with another customer i will contact you shay let me figure things out and i will call you! so i was sent home! (on a side note ladies this dealership will not take you as a women alone serious, no will veteran salesman Gunner) (To think i was honored to have a Veteran salesman be my salesman and show some love for serving our country i was just some women nothing more no respect given to a lady trust me) Why do i say this, well check this out upon arriving — lets back track a little, when i was handed off to this young lady Gunner told me he was with another buyer whom was a man a local and a State Highway patrolman who was purchasing a vehicle! how do i know this cause Gunner tells my friend Rikki my client the guy he was with taking care of him after telling me to come in and talk to me (knows and remembers you meaning Rikki cause she had a lady pull out and hit her, and he (The SHPTRLman) took the report and remembered my friend Rikkis sport Fusion!). So see i was no more important the MAN was the hell with the women, why would you tell me come in if you had another appointment then pawn me off to a non sales person show me one car send me home? Okay so at this point i was a little upset but i thought no i will give our serviceman a chance, so waited Nothing, then I had to call back to find out what was going on, in that time he said all kinds of things could not pull my report, i did not have enough qualified credit, then went from leasing to buying, then buying to used to nothing, Now funny thing is i checked my credit report now yes i am new credit i have a credit card and not alot of credit but they pulled my damn credit report 12 times fudging my credit for Hard Pulls dropping my credit score tremendously! I called back but was told nothing they could do and sorry but tough luck goodbye! i was pissed to say the least «Hell hath no furry as a women scorned, long story Funny how i gotten a car at AutoNation no problems? Flammer hell NO. ok secondly if you need service my friend Al bought his SUV there it was time for a oil change and he also gotten a recall notice on his SUV this is what they said Oh its too early for a oil change after they sent him a letter saying its time to get one? also check this they said Don’t worry about the recall we will do it when you come for the oil change next time??? WTF, what if this is a dangerous recall nothing it was like their service department did not give a flying «F», i tell you after my ordeal and my friends with the Service department Damn so happy i did not by there, and AutoNation took care of my friends Recall No Problem, see amazing the service and quality you get Flammer Big outfit, AutoNation smaller home town outfit better service! If your a women Flammer will walk all over you and NOT Take You Serious! Just my review!

On December 23, 2015, we purchased a 2016 Ford Explorer Sport from Flammer Ford of Spring Hill after spending nearly a year researching the vehicle and the Ford Dealers in the Tampa Bay area. After visiting six different Ford Dealers, we decided to purchase the vehicle from Flammer Ford of Spring Hill for several reasons. First, Art «Gunny» Goldman was the consummate professional who patiently answered all our questions and never once tried to pressure us into the sale. Second, when we walked into the dealership, it had a very professional, yet personal feel that my wife and I both felt. It truly feels like a high quality hometown dealership, rather than a high volume sales factory where you feel like a number. Third, they provided a fair price on the trade-​in of our 2010 Chevy Camaro and showed respect for all the research that we had conducted on the vehicle and other Ford dealerships. Once we made the decision to purchase, our feelings were further confirmed when Jeff Miner provided a wonderful hands-​on training session for all of the new technology on the vehicle. I’ve bought lots of vehicles over the years, but this was the first time since purchasing a BMW from the factory in Munich, Germany in 1990 that anyone had conducted such an extensive training on a new vehicle. Jeff’s training was simply outstanding! Our many thanks to Mark Flammer for committing his resources to providing such an outstanding service! Our interaction with Dave Donovan during the financial processing further reaffirmed our positive experience, as he never pressured us to purchase any options, but simply explained what was available and left the decision to us. Overall, this was THE most positive vehicle buying experience that I’ve had since purchasing my first new car 36 years ago.

Everyone was helpful and facilities are quite nice. One service was performed that was not requested but I was not required to pay for the service. It was my understanding that the car would be washed each time it was brought in for service. Maybe I misunderstood but this was not done. This is the first time I had my 2015 Ford Escape in for service. I had the oil changed and two recalls were performed while the car was in for its first check up. Could not rate all questions because the survey did not work well with my mobile browser on cell phone. Had to mark questions as not applicable in order to submit the survey.

I detest buying cars for the same reasons as everyone else. However, I bought a Mustang at Flammer Ford and actually enjoyed the experience. They did not have the exact car I wanted but they found me one. The price was reasonable, and they did not do the high pressure upselling for things I did not need like gap insurance. Their internet service team did a lot of pre-​sale work with me via e-​mail which saved so much time and frustration. It was nothing like the normal psychological game playing. I love my new car, and I would highly recommend this dealer for anyone car shopping.
