Recently moved to the Spring Hill area and decided to give this place a try… Bad decision! First of all you walk in to a horrible smell obviously the venting system is not very good for a nail salon, the color selection is mediocre at best, but the worst thing was the nail tech he was talking about the bad reviews on here and how he has been doing it for 14 yrs and if he can’t make you happy no one can. Unfortunately I didn’t read the reviews until after the appointment. Lesson learned! He also was talking the whole time about his cheating«old lady«super disrespectful! The grossest thing was how dirty his nails were he honestly had dirt under his fingers and his hands felt like he hadn’t washed them all day! As soon as I left I used hand sanitizer! Will not be returning!

I have given Luxy Nails two tries due to convenience. Both times I’ve been completely unimpressed. They act as if you’re an inconvenience. They immediately started peeling the gel off my nails. If I wanted to peel it off, I wouldn’t have even gone to the salon. Definitely won’t be giving them another try!

I have had my nails done twice here — a gel both times. First trip — the guy was very personable, but I developed hangnails(which I normally don’t have). Second trip — I was waved to a chair and a woman who works there had her feet in the chair. She moved them, and then tried to steer me to someone else so she could do someone who wanted a full set of acrylics. The guy said he already had that customer, so she huffed off and came back with foil and cotton, ostensibly to soak off my gel. I said that I had already soaked off the gel and just applied a coat of polish. She walked off and another man sat down to do my nails. He was pleasant if indifferent and cut my nails close like I requested. In the process of doing my nails, he scrubbed the skin past my cuticles with the foam block file, making them red-looking. He then began cutting my cuticles with a tool that didn’t look particularly clean.(more on that in a minute). When I got the hand massage with lotion, he slopped his way through one hand and was a little more thorough on the other. The only time he smiled was when he told me what I owed. I paid it with a tip and left, not before noticing that the aforementioned woman had her feet in another chair and grubby hand prints and streaking on the front door. Three days later, I had a whopping infection on one of my fingers where he gouged one of my cuticles. I had to go to the doctor and am on antibiotics and have to soak it in Epsom salts and peroxide several times a day. It turned out to be a very expensive experience; There is no way I would recommend these people and will look for another salon.

First of all they were hilarious! The guy who got me was very quiet which was fine cause I had my mother and sister with me as well. But the guy my sister had was so funny and personable. Our toes look great! I didn’t get stabbed once! If im in Tennessee again I would go there again! :D

I was at Luxy Nails yesterday getting my nails done and as always my nails look amazing when I leave there!!! I have been a customer at Luxy Nails for 4 years now driving from Pulaski Tn. which is a good 45 minutes to an hour drive to get there. I have had pedicures, eyebrows waxed, and of course my nails done throughout the 4 years I have been a customer there. It is because of there amazing work that I continue to return and patronize this business. Never have I ever had a bad experience at Luxy Nails. The staff is always very professional and friendly. The store and the equipment is always very clean and sanitary. They work very hard at Luxy Nails and it shows because they are always very busy. I have taken many of my friends to Luxy Nails for pedicures, manicures, eyebrow waxing, and acrylic nails. Those friends have always been very pleased with their service and have become return customers. Luxy Nails is awesome!!!

VERYUPSET! I went there one time before this man done my nails the day before thanksgiving he was awesome, so i decided this will be my place well worth the hour + drive more money so i decided to get those nails removed on January 9,2015. I had those nails on about two weeks before i first went to luxy nailsni needed a fill in over two months none of my nails broke chipped nothing! So on January 9,2015 i went to soak those nails off to have get an overlay on my real nails i called prior to this trip to see what a soak off and over lay will be got the price went in this girl was unprofessional i heard about thier drunken endeavors didnt listen to me when it came to my nails wanted to talk about herself filed my real nails down so much then so uneven, very sharp corners, and today is the 15th and three has either broken chipped or my real nails came away from the acrylic did i mention say she was VERYUNPROFESSIONAL! Finally after almost 2 hours from the time i pulled up til i left im done very disappointed i go to pay she added in her tip or something because it was more then they just told me and then looked at me like inwasnt talking English when i didnt tip her so sad because the one man i dealt with the trip before is awesome now i will never visit this establishment EVERAGAIN! Only reason i have given her one star is because this site made me before it posted

Absolutely ridiculous. The staff here is not friendly at all. They sit around on their phones while you sit there and wait for them to do your nails. I went here this past weekend and from the looks of it, they were not busy but, the guy who was doing my manicure made it very clear that I was a burden to him for even walking in the store! I got the gel polish and he questioned my color choice… like dude. is this going on YOUR finger nails? I don’t think so. Also, don’t even attempt to ask for a design. They will roll their eyes and then ruin your nails with a botched attempt at chevron to go with the blood that had been drawn while sloppily cutting your cuticles. SO. NOT. EVEN. WORTH. IT.

No services rendered as the Tweens running the front desk acted as if my daughter and I were putting them out when asked for wait time and to see gel nail color samples. I opted not to give them our business as I’ve grown accustomed to the Southern Hospitality.

Great place to go if you enjoy torture. I walked into Luxy on a Saturday to get a manicure. I got in right away, but not long after sitting down for my manicure, I began to regret trying out a new place. First, the woman who was doing my manicure refused to trim my nails at my request. I am very active and do not enjoy having long nails. She told me if she trimmed them, then they wouldn’t look«pretty.» Next, she balked at my color choice and tried to convince me to go for the(more expensive) French manicure — so NOT my style! I already felt insulted and disregarded when she started making faces, and telling me how terrible my eyebrows looked. I go to a place in Cool Springs to get my eyebrows threaded because I absolutely cannot do waxing. My eyelids swell up for days when I get waxed and I was advised by my doctor never to do it again. When I told her this, once again, she disregarded me and said, «Oh, everyone swells — it will go away in 15 minutes.» When she started trimming my cuticles, once again she made a face to show me how much dry skin there was. «Yes,» I said, «I have dry cuticles. I work with kids. I wash my hands a lot.» I don’t need this pointed out! Also, as she was trimming my cuticles, there were several areas where I started to bleed — three days later, I still have scabs from where she trimmed too close. Finally, when she was painting my nails, she told me to switch hands under the ultra-violet light. While I was switching my hands, as told, she started yelling, «SWITCHHANDS! SWITCHHANDS!» I was switching hands! Then she said, «Have you never gotten a manicure before?» I tipped her $ 5 for a $ 35(disappointing) manicure. She made a face when she saw the tip amount too. Never. Going. Back.

Luxy Nails was just what Spring Hill needed! It’s an affordable, luxury looking, quality nail place with friendly manicurists, complimentary drinks and exceptional services. I am VERY particular about getting my nails done and pedicures are among my vices… I’d yet to find a good place in town for a pedicure, until I tried Luxy. My pedicure included a wonderful massage, a scrub and they clean the cuticles very well… in addition to expertly applied polish… I truly enjoyed the Luxy experience. Of all the places to get your nails done in Spring Hill… Luxy is truly the best and have the most affordable rates in town!
