Zen Massage

I will not be returning to Zen Massage. I called about a deal «–Hour Custom Facial + 1-​Hour Swedish Massage for Only $ 80!» that happens to STILL be listed on their website. Talked to the lady on the phone and she said that they only do facials on Wednesdays and Fridays (I think) It’s Tuesday so I went ahead and booked the massage. I happened to think about it and called back just a few moments later and asked if I could go ahead and purchase the special and use the facial at another time, she said yes and that we could set it up when I got there. I went in and had my massage. I have no complaints about the massage therapist but the sheets didn’t smell so great. (Like maybe they hadn’t been changed) When I finished she told me the charge for the massage and I mentioned again that we had spoke about the special with the facial to which she replied oh that’s not available anymore, it was a Mothers Day deal. Uh, Mother’s day was in May, this is September and it is still on your website and mentions nothing about Mothers Day. So, I will not be returning again simply because I was lied to. She very well could have mentioned over the phone, before I got there that it was false advertising.

I’ve been here a few time and had massages and facials. Great prices, friendly and no harassing membership. The schedule is flexible. I will be back!

Nice staff and the therapist was very good. Staff wasn’t chatty (I hate small talk) and we’re very attentive. Rooms were clean and tranquil and not overly cluttered. Linens were perfectly fine.

I had the hot stone massage. It was one of the best massages I have ever had. I got a gift certificate for Mother’s Day from my wonderful son and daughter inlaw and I had a better than expected experience. I will be back to zen soon.

My husband and I came here on a whim. We just wanted an hour of relaxation. The couples room was quiet and intimate. Our therapists did a beautiful job. I just wanted to take a nap. The price was right as well. No contracts or memberships and we paid just over $ 100 for both.

Today was my first time here. I must admit to following (stalking) my massage therapist to his new location. (Really, I love him) if you are interested in a deeper, rather firm massage ask for Blake. If that’s not what you are into – he might change your mind. (or have you writhing in pain) But hey, we all take these little risks.
Zen has great prices, no nasty contract and the ability to book online or on the phone is a great convenience. Everything was clean and comfortable. But I have to agree with the previous reviewer (Michael) that the sheets had seen better days-​but they were clean and I am a sheet snob, so someone else might not even notice. The office staff was also very friendly and not overly loud or chatty.
The one thing that was a bit off, but quickly corrected was the noise machine in the massage room. The deep breathing sound it emitted had me convinced that either a severely ill asthmatic patient was dying in the room with me or I had been transported into Darth Vader’s presence upon the Executor. But that was the worst of it.

These guys get a bonus star just for NOT being Massage Envy.

–Hey! HEY! YOU! Front desk employees! Shut the fuck up! I can hear your goddamn loud ass conversation all the way down the hall! My therapist shouldn’t have to apologize for your noise!
BOTTOM LINE:
After being locked into below average massages at Massage Envy for a year, the fact that these guys dont have contracts is enough for me to come back. Average massage. Good core work, but extremeties could be better. Then again, I’ve only been here once.
