CarolinasDentist – Spring Lake

I had a great experience here. The dental hygienists were thorough and my dentist did a great job overall. Dr McDaniel made me feel relaxed throughout the entire procedure and even saw me the same day that I called for some jaw discomfort.
My ONLY issue is that one of the ladies that goes over the billing side of things was a bit pushy in trying to get me to have ALL of the procedures done when the dentist only recommended them for the future. I did not need my wisdom teeth extracted, but she was a bit adamant.
Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend this office to anyone seeking good dental care :)

I’d been previously emotionally scarred by a dental visit which resulted in me waiting about 8 years to be seen again. I went in to Carolina Dentist and discussed my history with them, and though there was a lot of work to do they didn’t make me feel crap for it. I went in for a root canal and they made me feel comfortable the entire time. The worst part of the procedure being the smell of grinding teeth. The staff are great, and the amenities (earphones, tv, blanket) are excellent. A dental office like this has restored my faith in dentists. I highly recommend this location.

AWESOME! I love this dentist office. I moved here from Georgia recently & loved my office there so I had the mindset that it wouldn’t be as good. I was wrong! The Dentist came out and greeted me in the waiting room. So kind, personable, and professional. I will recommend this office to anyone who ask! All staff was amazing. Great experience. This will be my permanent office from now on! I was in and out within an hour.

First of all, I will say that i will NEVER go elsewhere. When I moved away from their original practice, Dental Works, I tried a local office which I hated. When the new place told me I had 5 cavities, I decided to make the long drive back to Dental Works and get a second opinion. That’s when I heard all my favorite dentists, literally, had left and started a new practice. I had high expectations to begin with because Dental Works is pretty awesome. However, I was blown away with everything at Carolina Dentist.
When I arrived, I was taken back within 2 minutes. Once I was in a room, Dr. Cameron came in within 5 minutes. As I’m sure everyone is, I’m deathly afraid of needles. I had to have one small filling, which made way more sense that what the previous place had told me. It was virtually painless! Dr. Cameron is so gentle and really knows how to make it painless.
The room has a TV mounted to the ceiling, playing a movie, and they give you headphones to listen so you don’t have to hear the drill. The hygienist even gave me a Chapstick so my lips wouldn’t crack during the procedure! That was so above and beyond. Both the hygienist and Dr. cameron repeatedly asked if I was ok. It was over within 15 minutes and I was out the door. I can’t say enough about this place and if you are looking for quality care and excellent service, go here!

I hate the dentist. I was a huge dick about the whole process and they were nothing but nice. I made so many snarky comments and they just dealt. Props to them. Im still terrified of the dentist but a little less so now. I would really recommend them if you have a hard time dealing with dental related things.

I had my wisdom teeth pulled here a few days ago. Everything went fine, I just had a few issues with this office. First of all my apt was at 9am, my procedure didn’t start until about 10:45. I don’t know why would they schedule apt and not have everything ready when you get there. Than they thought I was there for a consultation, which means paying extra $ 189 just for that. When I said I already had one at their other office, it took them another 30 min to finally figure out the cost and set up the room. The doc wasn’t too friendly ether.
