It used to be a few years back the Strawberry Banana Pancakes were to die for. Now whenever I’ve gone back to any location to order there is always something wrong with it. Whether its cooked or the topping is excessive or minimal. My last experience was here and I decided to give one last chance for any craving I still had for that menu item. I waited awhile for the food to come and then to top it off no banana’s on or in the pancakes. I ended up adding more syrup since you have the convenience at every table to choose whatever syrup flavor they have. I love Waffle House and that day regretted going here then getting something from a place that has never given me a bad experience. Also the eggs & toast are far better than this place.

It’s not a 5 star restaurant. So ultimately, cannot give 5 stars. 4 stars would mean excellent service and delivery. So I must put average, 3 star. I went a couple times and felt like there wasn’t service. ie no timely drinks or refills, not prompt to greet, and food took a while. As if they Don’t need customers. I enjoy dining out so I have expectations in food hospitality. For example, a table should be done in no more than 40 min. Greeted under 1 min. Drinks pronto and refilled when half way. Never expect the customer to have dry mouth or ask for refill. Food out within 15 min. And come by to see if anything is needed. However, the last visit was redeemed with timely service and drinks. Food order on time. Asked if anything was needed. Just no refill. Refill beverages people. So I would recommend based on the last visit but be diligent in what time you arrive … During rush … After rush… slow? Hmmmm

When this location first opened, it was great! I had taken my family there several times. The last time I was there it smelled moldy, as if there was a water leak of some sort. I asked several times if there was a water issue, or a leak, or something. The waitress kept telling me no. BUT there was a humidifier blasting. I’m highly allergic to mold as is several of my children. We stayed hesitantly. My food came first, then it took 15 minutes for the kids to get their food. Obviously I’m not going to eat in front of my kids when they don’t have food and are hungry. So my food was ice cold by the time everyone was served. I didn’t finish my food, I couldn’t. I haven’t been back.

We ordered breakfast for pickup and it was ready in 8 minutes. Their to go boxes are really neat, not your average styrofoam boxes. You can actually wash and reuse them again if you’d like. The NY cheesecake pancakes are delicious! They’re not too sweet and the strawberry topping is seriously the best. I like crispy hash browns but not almost burnt. That’s my only complaint: the hash browns are almost always over done. We’ve always had a good experience whenever we eat in but we prefer to order out.

Best breakfast in Spring Lake by far and served all day. Courteous staff and excellent service. Well maintained cleanliness of restaurant and rest rooms. Food was excellent and the quick two egg was delicious!!!

Ive been going to this IHOP for over a decade now. Its been consistently good every single time. Great place for unit breakfast/hail and farewell, or just to eat close to Ft Bragg. Awesome IHOP, much better than the one on the other side of Fayetteville. Their T-Bone Steak & Eggs is always the bomb!

I can only summarize this write-up like this: «T-Bone steak and eggs, well-done, with extra seasoning». Wow. The IHOP in Spring Lake is the one we go to most frequently, and the staff/cooks there are great! They really try very hard to ensure you have a wonderful dining experience, and we enjoy our meals there.

I was very surprised with the quality of the food and the service we received based on the reviews. My husband and I went to try the«all you can eat» pancakes for our date night. We went around 9:00 p.m. The breakfast was really good and our server Brianna was amazing. She was right there to help if we needed anything but gave us enough space to converse, etc. She did not scoff when we ordered our second round like some servers do. She had them on the table in no time. Thanks Brianna. Eggs were cooked to order and were spot on. The only complaint is that their bacon is very salty. All you can eat pancakes range from 6.99 to 8.99 there is an $ 1 up charge for fruit topping and .49 to .79 up charge for turkey bacon/sausage. When ordering pancakes, place your second round(if you are extra hungry), when they bring your food out. That way you can still have hot cakes with your sides.

Great customer service and quick food. The restaurant was busy and I was expecting a good wait time for our food but no I was wrong. Our food came within five minutes and very attentive to refills. I’m a picky eater and the waiter made sure to repeat my order so we were both on the same conversation. When our food arrived, he repeated it back and the good was exact.

I wanted to grab something for my husband and I to eat on my way home but didn’t want fast food. I usually only come here for breakfast but decided to try the dinner menu. The variety was unexpected and the prices reasonable. I ordered the blue cheese and bacon sirloin for me and the Italian chicken pasta for myself. They even have a take-home menu so that you can call in your order ahead of time. And to top it off, military members get 20% off on Thursdays!!! I could’ve done without the Christmas music in October though. Otherwise, it was an awesome experience.

Hum, this is a hard one! Where do I start? The horrible service? The nasty horrible food? Waiting time too long? To begin, I have not seen a server that I can say: wow !! Excelente service! Makes it up for the nasty food! The food looks pretty on the pictures, but I guess they don’t know that salt and pepper exist! Wait time, we went there on a Sunday and we waited one hour and a half to even get drinks! But we also went on a Monday and a Tuesday, and the waiting time was the same! And they had less than ten customers seated! Don’t waste your time and money there! Go to a Wafle House!

Ate here with my hubby, 2y old, and 7m old. Staff very friendly food came out in reasonable time. Appreciate that THISIHOP has kid’s menu with crayons. Found out hard way that IHOP on Skibo does not. Was told it was management’s decision. :(Food was good!

Im being nice when i give 1⁄5 Star. They dont even deserve one. Bacon was cooked more than 24hours ago and re-heated from what the server said. It tastes like a chunk of lard and smells like burning pig. I asked the waitress and she says thats the way they are. It looks like the grill wasnt cleaned off and you can see and smell other food that was cooked with the bacon. Coffee has too much residues floating around. I would recommand Waffle House or Dennys over this crappy food.

On a busy day, if the wait is long you should be truthful about the wait time. The Indian lady(who I’m assuming is the owner or manager) tells every person who walks up to the podium«15−20» minutes, even for large groups of 5 – 10 people, when it will be more like 30 – 45 or 45 – 60 minutes. DON’T LIE! Then the food is very sub-par. I’ve sent my food back multiple times. Once for being undercooked, then for hair in my food. Disgusting. On top of that, my drinking glass smelled dirty. If you have a choice to eat else where, definitely GO!

This is a fairly new IHOP. It’s clean and the wait staff all seem very nice. However that’s where it stops. The food was beyond disappointing. The eggs we ordered where requested over easy and they where cold to us served. The bacon we requested extra crispy. It looked extra crispy but was cold & rubbery! The pancakes where cold and the butter was at room temp and wouldn’t even spread over the cold pancakes. We thought thus could be an isolated incident and gave IHOP a second chance about a month later. This time we came very early. It was simply worst. Very unfortunate. This is simply lack of proper training. And I won’t be back.
