Customer service is terrible, the counter assistants are rude! They need a staff makeover. I called today to ask about pricing on a gun, I was told I would need to come look, I asked for a specific model of rifle. I refuse to drive 30 miles to look at a rack, when the guy who answered the phone could walk his lazy self out and see if it was in stock. There are better places to spend your money with people who appreciate it. Screw these guys.

My dad transferred two pistols from my home state to NC and I picked them up from Guns Plus. I was hesitant to work with the employees based on others’ reviews, but I had absolutely no issues getting along with everyone working there. The employees seem to have that dry sarcasm down, which is my favorite. I can see how their humor might rub customers the wrong way, especially if you don’t understand dry sarcasm. Overall, excellent service for out-of-state pistol transfers. I will be checking out that indoor range soon and I’m looking forward to talking with the employees again.

Came in on my search for a new pistol. Offered a large selection and even had a glock. 4 gen deal for me. I am not a favorite of the fourth gen. So I declined. They shut down after that. I walked out with nothing. Knowledge was very limited and the prices were higher than a lot of stores that I shop. I try a never be in a hurry and forced into a purchase. They just seemed to want to push what they had.

Extremely unimpressed. The first time I walked into the store, I was immediately met the condescending attitude from all three of the employees that were present. I attempted to check prices and availability of a Sig P938. I was told they didn’t have it, but could order it and it would arrive in about a month. I told the employee no thank you, at which point he proceeded to attempt to sell me a layaway or payment plan for over 10 minutes until I finally walked away(after politely telling him I wasn’t interested in either at least 5 times). I have been in the store 6 times since then and I have been lucky enough to see their horrible offensive condescending attitude each time – either directed at me or another customer. The simple fact that they offer and push the layaway and payment plans so hard combined with the fact that they also fix jewelry puts them squarely in the realm of an overpriced pawnshop that happens to sell new guns. Their cheap car salesmen! Go elsewhere. I would highly recommend Ed’s guns as they have great service and amazing prices. In fact, their prices beat the ones on base even with the extra tax you have to pay. Check them out:

I liked this placed when I first walked in. But, the staff are kind of «I can’t believe I’m this awesome» I wanted to order a Glock 34, well I did. The guy tells me it will be in, in a week. So, after the week I call them up and ask if my gun came in. He says it’s going to be a month. Because of a police order had to be filled first. I call around and found one at Colfax Firearms, for $ 30 cheaper. I go back to Guns Plus to get my cash back, and the guy says no can do. I said, you told me it would be in, in a week. And it’s not and then you told me it would be a month before it comes in. Come to find out they never even ordered it! I got my cash back and bought the Glock 34 the same day $ 30 cheaper. The range is pretty good, but they would only let me purchase 1 box of ammo for my 9 mm. My friend had a 1911 I wanted to shoot also, they wouldn’t let me buy a box of .45’s unless I rented one of theirs. WTH! I will go back, just to use the range. And take plenty of ammo because their prices are to expensive.

Better places to purchase weapons and ammo. The store charges so much more than their competitors is incredible. Most of the guys want to make the business work and compete with competition prices, but if Martin is there you best leave, that guy watches all dealings like a hawk and makes sure they charge the highest price possible. With the way they are competing with competition they won’t be around much longer.

Prices are crazy high but they try to make it seem like they are helping the military by offering a 10%… They also know very little about WWII firearms but try to make it appear that they are experts. Tried to buy an M1 carbine but they couldn’t figure out the difference between WWIIM1 carbines and auto ordinance reproductions but tried to convince me that they were produced back in WWII. Done with this place suggest you go somewhere else

Recently purchased a red dot sight from this location. Tried to return it less than 2 weeks later with receipt and they would not accept. The product wasn’t used. After being questioned over and over again as to why I didn’t want this specific sight. I politely asked if I could have a store credit and they said absolutely not. Come to find out the same exact sight is on Amazon for $ 100 less. Never going back.

I’ve purchased two guns from Guns Plus and have yet to find prices that are less than what i got it for. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. 4 stars: I also frequent the range. It can get extremely hot and extremely cold depending on the weather outside. The fan and target machines are often broken. They need to invest a bit more into the range.

Do yourself a favor and NEVER step foot in this overpriced hole in the wall. The employees are incredibly rude, very full of themselves, and just plain unhelpful. The old man that did finally grudgingly offer to assist me acted like he was doing me a favor by selling me a gun. Every question I asked was either outright ignored, or semi-answered in an incredibly blunt, angry manner. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere, and I suggest you do as well.

The guys here are great. Always helpful when I need assistance but not annoyingly helpful. They don’t assume that because I’m a woman I need more help than anyone else! The prices are fair and not ridiculously inflated like many stores in the area. 5 stars any day!

Great gun store with a good selection. The range is extremely loud if someone is shooting an AR-15.

Some employees are very helpful and knowledgable while others act like they are gods gift to firearms and talk down to you. The range is very nice and the prices are very reasonable. The firearms however are a bit over priced. I prefer them over Jim’s pawn only because its not as crowded.
