Starlite Motel

This is a pretty decent motel if you’re in the area and need a place to crash for a night or two. Can’t beat the price. Includes free wi-​fi, cable with more channels than you could need, flat screen tv, plus all the basics. Not to mention all of the rooms have a microwave and fridge for free, there is a gas station next door which is great when you need snacks/​drinks, and it’s located a short 10 minutes to Fort Bragg. Very convenient. Also no tax if you a member of the military.

I’ll start off by saying: unless you’re a prostitute, or desperately in need for a cheap place to stay for a night, DON’T GO HERE.
The owners are nice, and I LOVE the maids. But that doesn’t make up for the fact that this place is crawling in cockroaches & crickets because the doors are short and leave a large gap for bugs to get in. The rooms are tiny. And, again, this is the local prostitute hang out… the walls are paper thin and I’ve heard things that I’ll never forget. My door was knocked on frequently by cracked out people looking for god knows what.
Domino’s won’t deliver to Starlite because they drivers have been mugged so many times. What does THAT tell you?
I saw my first drug arrest here after the guy in the room next to me DROVE INTO THE BUILDING.
