This place is pretty decent. The food is good. The only thing I can say is that the service could be better.

Thid is probably one of the best places where I have had Chinese food ever. It is not greasy, it seems like it is actual homenade and not a restaursnt, people are really nice and mannered, plus it is afforadable. I really recommend it.

It took longer than expected and was a bit overpriced considering the quality and flavor of the food. It got the job done but luckily the folks I fed weren’t looking for a full meal such some snacks.

This place needs to be remodeled. But having said that, their food is pretty good for the price. You get quite a bit of food and they are friendly and have good customer service. I am a regular and will continue to be.

Food taste good but be careful if you don’t eat pork. They have given me pork instead of chicken many times when I order sweet n sour chicken.

Great service & food at an exceptional price. We always have to get the egg flower soup as it’s the best I’ve ever had.

If you’re looking for a great tasting Chinese place at an affordable price, Lin lee’s is the place! The combination fried rice is so tasty :)

I’ve been looking for a Chinese restaurant with reasonable prices in the area for a while now that also has good food. I think I’ve found it! Excellent customer service. I ordered my food to-go and was brought water to drink(without asking) while I waited. The salt and pepper wings are THEBEST!!! I must have more! I also ordered Linlee’s chow mein. I tell you, it was nice to have chow mein with more than four shrimp! The vegetables weren’t over cooked and there was plenty of meat. I can’t wait to sample other items on the menu. My new go to spot!

Unfortunately, it seems this place has gone downhill over the years. Linlees was my favorite Chinese restaurant when I was a teenager and we used to frequent the one that used to be on Spring Street in La Mesa a long time ago. Being back in San Diego, I was anxious to eat at Linlees again. I ordered take-out; Mongolian beef, orange chicken, broccoli beef, bbq pork with snow peas, bbq pork chow mein and fried rice. I can honestly say that no one liked anything that we ordered. The Mongolian beef was flavorless and the beef was very fatty. I found myself spitting out a lot of the pieces. The broccoli beef was also bland, as was the chow mein. It all just had no taste to it. My daughter had the orange chicken and she said it tasted like pickles, it was very vinegary. The bbq pork with snow peas was just ok, but my mom, the one who ordered it, didn’t care for it. Most of the food ended up getting tossed. $ 50 down the drain. Nice! Pretty disappointing, I’m sad to say. We won’t be returning.

Ordered take out today. Service was fast and courteous. The beef chow fun was on the wet side(with veggies and more broth) but tasty. I would recommend it.

I rate this place a 3.5, good Chinese food. The chow mein was tasty, the egg foo patties were outstanding, the spicy wings were awesome; BBQ fried rice not so much — was dry. I also ordered the sesame balls and those were delish. I’ll be back, I’m curious about the cream cheese wontons…

I came here with some co-workers because they love this place. I actually felt sick afterward. The waiting staff was extremely nice, but the food was really gross(except the egg drop soup). Then I was getting grossed out because gnats started flying around. I don’t think I’ll be returning. I ordered the lo mein and it was soaked in sauce that wasn’t too good, and the fried rice was super flavorless. Just writing this and thinking of that food is making me feel queesy again.

We go in about every 2 – 3 months or so. There are many choices on the menu, the owners/staff are super nice and efficient. Today, we sat in the entry way to order to go and the gentleman waited patiently as we planned our order out. Soon, we were on our way home to the feast. there is enough food for the rest of the week, I will NOT have to cook. Not sure how long we have been going there but much more than 10 years… There was nothing nasty about the place. I bet the people that were unhappy were rude and their order did not come out correctly because they may have been misunderstood. My initial order had one order of egg rolls, my husband wanted more. I witnessed him order more but what he was saying confused me. When the lady came over for me to pay I was able to tell her just one order. My husband, if I counted what he said, ordered almost 10, were they 10 more orders of 2 or 20 all together? We wanted 4 pieces of egg roll, dear, dear husband! They were nice about it. Husband has a long beard and may be a little intimidating…

Not satisfied at the least… I had the salt and pepper chicken the flavor I got from the chicken was some what of a sweet taste not what I was looking for since I’ve had salt and pepper chicken from other places that was way way better but we’re talking about this chicken and they are getting 2 stars because at least the food(chicken) warm and moist… but I don’t think I’ll be going back sorry

Lunch combo: $ 5 for soup, egg roll, potsticker and your entrée? Yes. not a bad place. not the greatest, either. could use sprucing up in the décor, menu, plates, food – everything, actually. but it is a good price… not much else to say other than i’m glad it was at least affordable… and the waitress was a sweetheart too. not sure i’ll go back because Star Express in national city is a good deal and the food is better.
