I always pass this place on the way home from church and I say to myself«I gotta try this spot». I always go to Golden Chopsticks in National City which is a drive for me. Panda House is right down the street. I decided to try it with my son for the 1st time and was pleased. Prices are great. I ordered the salt and pepper white meat chicken, beef and broccoli and the house fried rice. We both was pleased. I paid $ 26.71 for all that food and was given a good amount. It felt good to find a decent Chinese place close by. I will surly try this place again.

I gave it a two because my wife enjoyed her food she order orange chicken and fried rice a pretty simple order. On to my food general tso’s chick end lo mein the chicken or I think it was chicken was soggy and over powered with sauce what were they trying to hide with the extra sauce. The lo mien f***king sucked it has an off taste of almost a cleaning chemical and overcooked this was a take out order when I got home the smell of it stunk up my house. The service was outstanding hard to understand but the quality of food just sucked. Save your money and time unless you want to be wowed at the door and regreting it in your stomach

This place was far from good. I stepped into this place thinking good thoughts due to the customer service I received upon entry, but once I received my food and discovered that my food was full of error I quickly returned it. Our order consisted of Salt and Pepper chicken Kung Pao chicken Wonton soup Let’s start with the salt n pepper chicken. The chicken was sweet, which is the exact opposite of what salt and pepper chicken is supposed to be. The Kung pao chicken tasted like fish, so horrible I couldn’t swallow it. Now normally if you have an issue with your food you take it back, explain what happened, and then you get your money back or exchange in order. I was told«Well sir since you ordered the food and we made it according to your order that’s it.» Even though they argued that there was no way the food tasted bad, I persisted and they told me that I had to pay for the two wings my wife and I tried. How do you charge someone for your mistake? The food was nasty. Nasty enough that I got back in my car and drove all the way back to the restaurant. I honestly don’t know how this business is surviving.

Nice greeting once I entered. The first thing she offer was salt and pepper wings, however I don’t eat meat. I ordered the tofu in orange sauce … Let’s just say it’s in the trash. I don’t recommend that dish at all. I got it to go and I guess it’s cornstarch they used but it was like eating soft orange glue(barf).

Reasonable prices, good portion sizes. I got the sesame chicken and fried rice, and hubby had sweet and sour pork and white rice. Sesame chicken was good, nice and crispy, but there wasn’t quite enough sauce. Sauce had good flavor though. Fried rice had good flavor but where were the peas, carrots, eggs, etc? Every other Chinese restaurant where I’ve ordered fried rice has had those things in it. Also the fried rice was a bit too dry. Hubby seemed to like his sweet and sour pork. But the sauce spilled into the bag and got everything all sticky. Wish they had bagged his food separate or lined the box with foil or something to contain the mess. I liked that I was able to order online via BeyondMenu( ) and the convenient location near my house made for easy pickup. Will order from them again.

This place is horrible. Food is inconsistent and usually stale or overcooked. To staff doesn’t speak English enough to get the order right and then if you complain, good luck getting any where. I ordered the chicken fried rice, which is about the only thing I’ve ever ordered that’s consistent. Upon returning home, I discovered it was pork, or some type of animal, but definitely not chicken. I called and agreed to return to the restaurant to get chicken fried rice, like I ordered. When I arrived i was confronted by to staff members who barely spoke English, insisting that it was peking chicken(?). No apology, no refund, but they brought out a plate of old peking chicken to show me… Save your stomach…

Came here for a birthday dinner for my uncle. Very good food for a decent price. Staff was very nice and attentive no ones drink stayed empty and we were there for two hours. It seemed like a typical Chinese restaurant. The one CON I do have is the restrooms were HOT! Seemed to be no A/C in there. Overall a good quite place to have a gathering, also seemed good for takeout. Many people were coming in to pick up food.

I only order out but I love this place. I have never been disappointed. Their salt and pepper wings are my favorite and I can’t help but order them every time. The staff are super friendly and polite. When I have a craving for BBQ pork fried rice, I get it here.

Went one time and had a piece of a cleaning rag in the food. If u had to have chinese food, I go down the road to linlees which had been there forever. The owners and waiters were very nice but unfortunately they have a lot of work to do.

I have home here on multiple occasions and have not been disappointed in anything I tried. The walnut chicken is by far the best, along with the wonton soup. Service is quick, and everyone is super polite.

Always fresh, hot and yummy. We’ve had their mangolian beef and chicken, house fried rice, teriyaki chicken and soups and all have been delish.

My friends and I came here for dinner and literally had to be carried out of here because the food was so good that we couldn’t stop eating. What’s better then great Chinese food that’s incredibly cheap? Nothing that’s what! and That’s what you get here. We ordered a slew of food from the popular Salt and pepper chicken to the seafood fried rice. First, the amazing salt and pepper chicken, they were so perfectly cooked and came as huge pieces. They were not overly saturated with salt like most places and served with a golden brown crisp on it. We also had the seafood fried rice, honey walnut shrimp with the chicken corn chowder. My friends ordered the house special chow main and the beef and broccoli dish with a side order of the house special chow mein. All these dishes were cooked just right. None of the vegetables were soggy or undercooked, thanks MSG, just kidding. All of us were beyond satisfied with all of our orders. The waiter had a great sense of humor and was very friendly with us. I’m definitely coming back here for another taste off there menu and next time I’m wearing stretch pants for maximum feasting potential, Lol.

Today I asked my 5 year old what she wanted for dinner, she replied«noodles mommy» lol We live really close to this restaurant and thought we’d give it a go. Man. delicious! My husband ordered the shrimp and lobster sauce. He was very satisfied with it. He lovess! Seafood but is also very picky. We also ordered orange chicken … yummmm Beef and broccoli… Amazing Chowmein… I’ll be having this for my midnight snack. Rice is very good. Nice and soft. Not overly cooked. All in all. my kids whom are hard to please really enjoyed the menu. Oh and the salted pepper chicken! Fifty thumbs up! =) Great service and friendly greetings. Go check them out! You will not be disappointed.

Someone tear me away from this place! Not only is it conveniently close to my place, the food is one of the best Chinese I have ever eaten. Best of all, it’s pretty damn cheap! I come here every week or two and the owners already know my face and are so nice to me, haha. Just remember to make sure that you effectively communicate what you want since their English is a little weak. My recommendations: Salt and Pepper Chicken: Everyone comes here for this. There’s a reason for that and I can’t even explain. ;) Imperial Pan Fried Noodle: Like your regular Chow Mein, but more saucy. It’s on the actual menu(not takeout) written in pen. Each entrée comes with rice, either white or fried. Both are good, but I do have to warn that it is the regular fried rice(not the fancy one with peas and meat).

We’ve eaten there about 20 times and the food is always pretty good. You can’t beat the lunch special @ $ 4.95, I mean shrimp with lobster sauce etc. ext. Veggies are always fresh and never over cooked like so many other places. I guess the only down side is their waitress«Giggles»(my nic name for her) I don’t think she understands a word of English but that doesn’t stop her, she’ll stand there rambling on & giggling while talking & I have no idea in hell what’s she’s saying & there’s no doubt she does either, don’t get me wrong she’s a very nice lady. You can lay odds that about 50% of the time she’ll get the order wrong but it’s like an adventure trying out new dishes that I would never have ordered. I guess she’s part of the reason why we go back, I’ll make a bet with my wife as to how bad or order is screwed up. A little entertainment & lunch for $ 10 is a hell of a deal! Update: 3÷23÷16 well it been 2 years of patience all for nothing, Giggles is still a knot head and never in this time has delivered our order correct. Today was the last time for us. what a complete cluster fuck. 40 minutes after our order with only 6 tables she had to cover we watched our order bounce around the restaurant table to table before being sent back, then the owners wife showed up and gave us the food but still it wasn’t correct I ordered noodles instead of rice and hot and sour not egg drop. My wife’s & my food now cold. She took it back, 15 minutes later returned the same ice cold nasty food. Who the hell wants to eat food thats been passed around the restaurant. Fuck them never again.

Closest chinese food to my house, why not give it a try! Went on a Friday evening for dinner. Restaurant never seems busy usually 2 or 3 cars in parking lot, mostly To-go orders. They have family style meals $ 9-$ 11 per person includes soup, appetizer, rice and entrees to share. Food was fresh and delicious. Only 1 waitress for all the tables, front counter and answering phone. I will come back, overall good experience. Salt & Pepper wings were my fave.

This is the second time I’m eating at Panda House, both times it was lunch. You cannot bit it — for $ 4.95 lunch special menu is great. At 12:30 on Saturday place was almost empty — only a few tables were occupied. The young waiter took the order right away, I asked for a water with lemon(they do have a nice selection of fountain drinks and beers) also Mongolian beef with steamed rice(option was a fried rice). There are 2 options for a soup — egg drop and hot & sour. Egg drop was OK, soup arrived just before Mongolian beef. I asked for a egg roll — got the wanton which is more the enough — Mongolian beef with rice was a really big portion. All in all — would I drive specially to this place for a dinner or lunch — NO, but when in the area on the business — it’s a resounding YES.

I am confused on how to write this article so I will attempt to do my best staying positive because I do not want to hurt anyone’s business. I will start with the parking lot which has beautiful foliage. The paint job is spectacular and appealing to the eye with a vibrant red. Upon entrance there is a coy pond to the right hand side that frankly really made me upset to the point where I wanted to ask the owner who greeted us immediately if I could clean it for them because I felt so bad for the fish. It was just NASTY. It was from the continual water flow but the filter might have been broken for an extremely long time and there was sludge everywhere including the tubing from which the water flowed from. But that has nothing to do with the food. The owner rushed over to greet us immediately as previously stated with a beautiful and welcoming smile. She advised us that we could sit anywhere that we wanted to and we elected to sit in a booth on the left hand side. There are two huge TV’s on the walls parallel to each other which made it a bit un-personable in my opinion but again, that has nothing to do with the food. We were given a menu and the waitress rushed over to find out what drink we wanted. I requested a pot of green tea and the waitress whispered«Hot Tea»? I replied yes(is there another way to get a pot of green tea?)… we were brought crispy wonton chips with sweet and sour sauce right after. On every table there are two pieces of paper(go look at the picture) with a different special and pricing that should have been on the menu. There was also hand writing in and on the menu, so I guess they are expensive to print new ones. It just really looked tacky. We started with the Po-Po platter that includes 2 of the following items vegetable egg rolls, chow chow beef skewers, BBQ ribs, fried circular shrimp, fried chicken wings and fried wontons. Everything except the wontons stuffed with cheese and the chicken wings were good to me. This was delivered in a good time frame. A bowl of egg drop soup came out next preceding the Mongolian beef plate that was accompanied by a single egg roll and fried rice for my man and I ordered Squid with black bean sauce that came with a small bowl of white steamed rice. The Mongolian beef was flavored decent but seemed as if it were too sweet and the cut of meat was very grisly. The fried rice was great after dousing it with soy sauce, I am sorry but it tasted old or reheated via microwave. The squid was actually pretty good but was over cooked and had way too many bell peppers and onions that took away the taste of the squid. The steamed rice was the bomb and I wanted to mix the sauce from my place but there was no room for it. As we were eating I noticed the patron in front of us leave and I swear to you that this is what I saw. The waitress walked over to the bus tray and grabbed a dirty rag, she walked over to the table and laid it down. The waitress gathers the dishes and takes them back to the bus tray then lays them in their perspective places. She walks back over to the table and grabs some napkins from the dispenser and wipes the table with them throwing the food on to the floor. With her hand she wipes the food that has fallen on to the booth seating and scrapes that on to the floor as well. Next, with the dirty towel from the bus trays she spot cleans the table and walks back over to the bus tray and throws the towel back in it. I am not sure if this was a one time thing but I am pretty sure that it was not. I used the bathroom prior to leaving which was also in need of attention with their soap dispensers leaking down the sink and on to the floor. I think I was upset watching that older woman busting her butt watching the other employees taking what seemed to be promotional pictures of them pretending to be on the phone taking orders rather then actually working. She should have made them clean the bathroom walls and the soap drippings along with the coy pond that is going to have dead fish soon. If you have time to lean, you have time to clean. PERIOD The best thing that I ate was that circled fried shrimp that came with the Po-Po platter. It was freaking amazing and I wish I had a plate of them right now. I would come back here again but I think that I would bust out my sanitary wipes and just wipe the table down first. That is all I am saying. YOUHAVETOTRYTHATSHRIMP!

This place is not much to look at from the outside and the inside is a little out dated, but I have to admit, they make some pretty good Chinese American Food. I stopped in before work related event for some dinner, and order one of their daily specials: the asparagus beef stir fry for only $ 6.99 with rice and a cup of their wonton soup for $ 2 and some change. I only expected ground pork wontons in the soup, so you can understand how delighted I was when it came filled with vegetables and some BBQ pork.( ) The broth of the soup was light but well season, and the vegetables were all fresh and crisp in the soup. I was very fond of the BBQ pork and Wontons in the soup. The pork had great flavor and was tender( ), and the hand rolled wontons were very good, and I really enjoyed the savory ground pork inside which had a hint of ginger.( ) A great start to the meal. The asparagus beef was quite good and was plentiful for only $ 6.99( ). The beef was exceptionally tender and very easy to eat.( ) Who ever cooked this beef, knew what they were doing. The asparagus, including the rest of the loaded vegetables were very good, perhaps a little unevenly cooked here and there, but not by much.( ) The sauce was tasty with a slightly sweet flavor. Great deal and stir fry. The meal also came with a side of fried wonton strips which were fine. The lady who served me was very nice. There was a minor language barrier, but nothing that got in the way of the ordering process and all.

OMG. The BEST wonton soup I ever ate. Full of fresh vegetables and wontons with a delicious broth. This is my third time here. I’ve eaten shrimp, chicken & vegetable entrees and have been very pleased each time. I’ll be back soon to sample another menu item. The menu is quite extensive, many Chinese favorites from which to choose.
