I ordered a slice. It looks good. And that’s where the positive ends. It tastes like cheese and not even premium cheese. Where is the taste of the tomato sauce? Pass this by. Instead order the salads.

I placed an order for pick up. Instead of telling me they were out of sausage they allowed me to order 2 sausage slices. When I arrived the man told me he didn’t have and suggested pepperoni. He then continued to speak about why he didn’t have sausage which I didn’t care to hear. I had to wait almost 20 mins for an order that should have been ready when I got there and to top it off the food had no flavor. Plus I overheard the driver and owner fighting over a messed up order. They’re unorganized and unprofessional. I’m never ordering from this place again!

i ordered the chicken wings with bbq sauce. it tasted like state issued school food. and the personal pizza i ordered, the dough was tough and the sauce was salty.

Sal’s is a small place but the food is big on taste. Good pizza, unexpectedly delicious food from the kitchen. Fantastic home made soup, excellent salads and wraps and grilled chicken freshly prepared over a frame.

Amazing old-​school NYC pizza without the fuss! Sal’s makes pizza the way it should be: lots of cheese, mildly sweet sauce and a thin crust that’s just a bit crispy.
I come here every time I visit family in Rockland.

Good stuff… pizza is excellent. I’m a Bronx born and raised guy who knows old school pizza the way it’s supposed to be. They’ve got that and some more. The shrimp parm is fantastic… better than a local expensive table service Italian restaurant I’ve been to.
