Pros: Has a drive-thru. Quick orders. Knowledgable staff. Yummy snack options. Cons: Why have a drive-thru if you can’t make the drinks quickly? Very slow. Always a long line. Expensive prices.

This is my favorite Starbucks. All the employees are nice and they always make my drink right. And they ALWAYS have everything bagels, that shit is bomb. I get why the drive thru is slow sometimes because other customers order more than 5+ drinks per car. Like if you’re gonna order that many don’t be lazy and plz go inside. Also, the customers here can be really mean to the baristas. They are people too!

Angelina is extremely rude. Customer Service is nowhere near her cup of tea. She had an attitude from the second we walked in. I placed my order and asked to reload my card. Gave her my partner numbers when she said(in such a rude manner), «I can’t do your partner numbers because you already reloaded.» I asked if she can just take the payment off because the transaction wasn’t completed yet and she said, «no!»… Obviously if I have partner numbers I work for Starbucks and KNOW that you CAN take the payment off without canceling or voiding the transaction. Even if it was an inconvenience, which I apologized for, to have an attitude AND lie about it is HORRIBLE customer service. Forget about the fact Angelina didn’t write half my order down correctly. One star because the rest of the crew was nice and speedy. I’ll probably be making the drive to Lemon Grove just to avoid Angelina’s «rude tude» from now on.

This branch lost a loyal customer. I come out of my way to go here because I like the people who work here or so I thought. I loaded my card with $ 5 and I gave the cashier a $ 10 and she rung it up as so and then I ordered my drink and paid off of my card. Afterwards, she gave me my receipt and so I asked for my $ 5 change. She disagreed with me right away and said«I gave it back to you» and I looked through my pockets and all I had were my keys and the money I had before walking in, which had no $ 5 bills and I still had no $ 5 bills and showed her that. She finally gave me my money back and in a snarlingly tone said«I hope I don’t come up short today.» I was so appalled that she said that. I’m disappointed in this staff.

I literally just submitted a survey on this location and i wish i could go back and redo it based on todays service. I am disgusted by the type of service i received from the female working the drive thru at 2:11pm today. Not only did she look unprofessional with her untamed hair… but she act unprofessional with her untamed stinky attitude. And i cannot believe management can stand for this despite all the terrible reviews. She was rude, neither polite or friendly, like she hates people or hates working there. If thats the case you need to be working in the back of a warehouse sweetie not the drive thru of the most popular and respectful coffee joint there is to work for. She by any means does not represent this company well at all. I have never experienced this type of behavior at any other starbucks location in the country. I dont know what type of façade she put on to qualify her for this position but im sorry to say i will not be returning to this location any time soon.

Gave this location one more shot. Drinks are never made the way their supposed to be. They are always out everything and then their sparkling machine doesn’t work. What’s the point in being open for business? They should remove this Starbucks and put a coffee bean or Jamba Juice here. I am always disappointed every time I come to this location.

Terrible drive thru wait, my drink(s) most of the time taste like water or with no flavor, sometimes my frapuccinos are watery and if I ask for extra ice the drink itself has no taste. Also some baristas are rude, I once asked to remake my drink and they looked at me like no, but they still did it. BTW don’t ask for extra caramel because they will give you almost nothing like if they are paying for it. I rather drive all the way to Starbucks at Rancho San Diego or to Lemon Grove.

I frequently come to this Starbucks and have had great experiences in the past. However, I came in on Tuesday after placing a mobile order at 1:19 pm. Got to the store at 1:22, and didn’t receive my order until 1:35. The wait said 4 – 8 minutes and that was well over 10 minutes of waiting. They had 7 or 8 people working and still took over 10 minutes to complete my order of two easy drinks? Also neglected to tell me until I mentioned I also ordered a donut, that they were out. They offered me another food item, I picked the chocolate croissant and it was smushed and didn’t look very appetizing. Very let down from this experience as I always loved this location.

Whatever you do don’t use the drive thru! It takes absolutely forever. Slowest Starbucks drive thru I’ve ever been to. Even when they’re not busy it takes quite a bit for them them to finish your order. Walking in can take some time too. I’ve had my order forgotten before and had to remind them I was there waiting. I’ve also had several messed up drink orders from them. I literally only stop here now because it’s close to my house and I order a simple iced green tea(although they’ve messed that up somehow before too).

Always coming here so that ratchet chick with the nappy weave can stare me down because the flamboyant drive threw guy didn’t get my order right the first time. This place is always slammed(except before 6am and after 9pm). Drive-thru usually wraps around the building and the line inside isn’t much better. The parking is terrible. Limited amount of seating inside, fortunately there is a fair amount of seating outside. If you like Starbucks, I recommend finding a different location unless you can’t wait, well you will wait if you decide to go here. so wait here or invest that time in finding a different location so you won’t be so frustrated. I haven’t had a problem with the service here, it is par for what I would expect at a Starbucks. That turn out of the drive thru to get back on the main road is crazy, you practically have to do a u-turn to avoid that curb.

Docking 1 star for my recent drive thru experiences. Today, I arrived between 8 – 9ATNIGHT and, surprisingly, waited as long as I would during the morning rush. There was only one car ahead of me and no one behind me when I placed my order. The car ahead of me only ordered 2 small drinks and 2 pastries, yet it took forever for their order to be handed to them. As I pulled up, I had only ordered ONE simple drink, yet again waited longer than I would’ve expected. I saw that there were about 5 – 6 baristas«working» and talking to each other the entire time. Their lack of attention and efficiency caused an even longer line to form(looked as long as a line in the morning) as I finally received my drink and drove away. Just sharing my experience and observation. A few tips to consider(sometimes I wonder if anyone has common sense anymore): — If you’re planning on ordering 3+ drinks, please go inside the store. Do not hold up the drive thru line. Be considerate. — Once you’ve received your drink at the drive thru window, do not take your sweet ass time putting your straw into your drink, take a sip of your drink, put it in your cup holder, THEN pull forward. MOVEUP so that the next customer can pay and get their drink. — Don’t like waiting in the drive thru line? It would be MUCHMUCHMUCH faster if you go inside OR use the Starbucks mobile app and pre-order your drink. — The line inside starts AT the register, NOT at the condiments/straw station. I don’t understand why people wait their turn there. — DONOT block oncoming traffic where the drive thru entrance is.

I don’t really know why this place has such bad ratings. I come here every once in awhile and they never get my drink wrong. The employees here are very nice! There’s usually a line in the drive-thru so I just either go inside or just simply order my drink through the app and come in and its usually already ready to pick up!

Before posting my review. I did look at other Unilocalers reviews before writing mine. Yikes! A lot of low scores. Fortunately, I have had different experiences coming here. I have used the drive thru as well as walked inside for a coffee or tea on numerous occasions. Always clean. The staff has treated me well here; even though they are scrabbling around trying to fill everyone’s drink order. The line is sometimes long and slow at the drive thru or inside at the register. It’s not the employees fault however. It’s jerkwads in line ordering multiple complicated drinks. I would like a venti caramel macchiato light with two shots of peppermint extra whip and a… and a … Really? Sometimes I wonder why I even go outside my house. I can just imagine what the barista thinks. Lately, I have been on a green tea kick. I am not a big coffee drinker like my wife. Yet I need that caffeine kick. I am trying to quit energy drinks. So I am drinking sweetened green tea as a healthier alternative. Tastes good. I am sorry that many Unilocalers have had a bad experiences coming here. I hope this doesn’t mean you will not visit this Starbucks location again. The staff here work very hard. They deserve another shot. Hopefully the next experience becomes a good one. Cheers.
