About a week ago I contracted a viral eye infection that was treated by Dr. Hoang. She was very thorough and detailed in her examination and treatment plan. She explained everything that I needed to do. She was available for all the appointments and the staff was very helpful in handling all the pre-visit checkup test. I would highly recommend her for family or friends.

The eye doctor was nice. They need more help when picking out frames. We had an eye exam appointment and after the appointment we had to wait and additional 45 min before anyone could help with picking out frames. If a person has an eye exam appointment, and would like to pick out frames they shouldn’t have to wait after walk ins. They need to work on there times. One of the reason I went there is because they accept many insurance plans. From now on I will not go! Make sure you set aside 3 – 4 hrs of time to look at glasses and eye exam.

What a wonderful experience from eye exam to glasses ready in one day! Faced a minor emergency and the staff was beyond friendly, caring, and professional. I had been to a competitor last year and had the opposite experience. It’s nice to know I can depend on Eye Trends from now on. I highly recommend Eye Trends. Thank you Rene’ and Dr. Hoang!

Eyetrends is a wonderful place to go for an eye exam and new glasses or contacts! I take my entire family there after being referred by Leah. Leah is the reason I keep going. She is courteous, knows the business and great with children! I could not have asked for a better experience!

This is for their staff/front desk. I came in for an eye exam and waited over a hour from my appointment time which was ridiculous because there wasn’t anyone waiting except for me, what could possibly cause the hold up? I asked the lady in the front desk to give me a maximum time estimate of how long it would take for me to see the optometrist, she answered to me rudely by giving me the typical I don’t know’s. 2 hours later I asked again, and I got the same reply. I decided to just reschedule and come back another day since I had to pick up my sister in approximately a hour. On the rescheduled date, I walked in and the same employee was working that day. She greeted to me with a smile and I sat down to wait once again. I over heard her telling her coworker that I came back to apologize, at this point I thought to myself«is she serious???» The only thing I asked was the wait time, I am not an aggressive person because I understand that things comes up and people are busy. I even decided to reschedule and come back to this location after waiting for the whole 2 hours for nothing. The kicker is, another customer sat down, and she asked them how long would it take for her to see the optometrist, and they told her it’s just a 30 mins. wait loud enough for me to hear. Needless to say, I stormed out. The customer service was the worst customer service I have ever received. Don’t come here if you want to be treated with disrespect.

My entire family uses Eye Trends. They have minimal wait times and a super friendly staff. I have been a patient for over 5 years and have never had a bad experience. They work well with my kids and even taught my daughter how to use contacts. I would definitely recommend any of the doctors at this location.

Stroke out twice in our books. The service here is a HUGE disappointment. May need one or two better staff that can manage appointment times and follow ups for glasses/contacts. My husband took our daughter here for her eye exam and waited for approximately over 45 mins to be seen. Ridiculous. Note: We chose this place because of convenience in location. I was hoping it was a one-off situation, so I gave this place a 2nd try and took our 2nd daughter here for her eye exam as well. Approximate wait time: over 2.5 hours. [You’re probably thinking, why didn’t I just leave? It was due to the fact that I already took a vacation day off of work and it was impossible to take another day due to work schedule, so I waited patiently for her to be seen.] I inquired and asked the front desk worker as to why the long wait and she stated that they were short staff that day since one of their worker called in sick. I asked her how come they couldn’t call their afternoon clients/customers to give them to option to reschedule the appointment if they were going to push all the appointments back. Their reply was, we’re sorry. I let it be and called it a day. What’s EVEN more disappointing is the NONE follow up call to let me know when my daughter’s glasses was ready to be picked up. It was well over 1 month(I lost track of time until my daughter brought it up) and I haven’t heard from Eye Trends. When I went to pick it up, I inquired, how come there wasn’t a follow up call to let me know when her glasses were available. Their response: Our system was down. I don’t give businesses like this a 3rd chance because it’s a strike out at that moment in time. I’d much rather drive back to our former location in Pearland because their service is way more superb, and the waiting time to be seen is definitely more impressive. —Today’s Vision(Silverlake)

Have been using Eye Trends for 3 years now and have been very happy with them. Everyone is very helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. I started using contacts for the first time at an older age and they have been very patient when helping me. Also are very quick with fitting you in if you have a problem arise. Will continue to recommend them for anyone needing eye care.
