Our family has Hello Taco about once a week. Great fresh food and friendly service with large portion sizes. Also, the restaurant is family owned and operated. My daughter and husband get chicken quesadillas. They are soft and not greasy, very flavorful and they use real Mexican cheese. I usually get the chicken bowl and top it with, spanish rice, black beans, cheese, lettuce, cilantro, pico, cabbage, sour cream and lime juice. We also get a side or two of guacamole. Their guac is delicious. The only thing I have had there that I did not care for was the chips they make in house. Other than that, the place is great. One of the employees always recognizes us and gives our daughter stickers every visit which my daughter loves. It is nice when employees care enough to make conversation with you and ask how you are doing and mean it. Keep it up Hello Taco!

I thoroughly enjoy their tortas here. Not many places serve this dish anyway, and HT does it exceptionally well. I’ve only had one that didn’t live up to its usual standard, but a new person made it. Otherwise they’re very consistent with their quality. Fiancé always gets three tacos and raves about them each time. Slightly pricier compared to neighborhood competitors, but I always love supporting little mom and pop shops like this. We’ll continue to come here and recommend it.

A mom-and-pop place with horchata! Really good burritos and salsas. Everything is made to order and homemade. Fish tacos are excellent!

Great food at a good price. They have delicious homemade horchata, tamarind tea, and hibiscus tea, food is all fresh and homemade. You can tell the owner takes pride in his restaurant! I’ve had the burrito bowl and the quesadilla(tortilla made while I was watching!) and my boyfriend likes getting their tortas. Definitely someplace I would recommend to others.

Flour tortillas are excellent, light fluffy and warm. Carnitas(pork) was very juicy. The line wasn’t that long but it still took quite a while to get the food. We will definitely come back.

I am glad others enjoy this place… but my experience was not great at all. 3 tacos for over $ 11.00…not much taste and not at all worth the price. :(I did like the fresh tortillas.

Tortilla: Warm and puffy flour tortillas. Deceivingly big enough to full you up. Carne Asada: Beef tenderloin. It was a tad bit too salty for me, but this carne asada is juicy and soft when you bite into it. Let this baby bathe the fillings of your burrito with its maroon juices. Other fillings(you choose): Spanish rice has a pretty red tint, black beans are soft but not mushy, red cabbage adds a nice color. Cheese, white onions, and cilantro were also thrown in there. Salsas: Your choice of mild, spicy, or fiery. I tried mild; a salsa with a smooth consistency that keeps true to its name. It would be good salsa to add over a chicken sandwich. Burrito wrapping: Everything blended perfectly unlike other places where your burrito tastes like all beans on one bite and all sour cream in another bite. Only problem was that my burrito collapsed on me as I got closer to the end so I used a fork to eat the rest. Horchata: Creamy drink with a nice hint of cinnamon. Doesn’t taste watery or thin. An extra nudge of cinnamon in there would make it even better! Good meal!

The service was good and extremely inviting. They advertise fresh ingredients, which is what attracted me to this place. They were pretty true to their form. I had: Chicken Bowl with every topping. The taste was fresh and the flavor of the chicken was spot on. My only knock on the meal was that they were a little skimpy on the rice(white). I did leave a little hungry for more. I will be back to try the tacos.

Love this place– ran by great people who remember us every time we come in.(Maybe we go too much, I donno haha) but yes delish. We always get tacos, or shrimp bowl, but it’s amazing. They just had their front door broken into by robbers and their cash box taken(only $ 80) but they have to of course replace it, so show them some love on the tip jar.

The food is good but the male owner has an attitude problem. I saw him touch the trash can after cleaning the bathroom and asked him if he could wash his hands before he made our food. He was angry and acquiesced to washing his hands, repeating«that’s why I wear gloves,» loudly and in front of other patrons. Needless to say I left embarrassed and hungry slinging a crying 2 year old who wanted her quesadilla. Major sanitation issue…

Let me preface this review by stating that any person who gives this place less than a 4 star rating is nothing but a pretentious food-snob who elevates their own self-importance well beyond where it belongs. These tacos are fantastic. These delectable, culinary creations are made, from the start, right in front of you. From the moment the fresh, poofy tortillas are ready, you begin choosing your meats and toppings, and it is borderline overwhelming. All of this culminates in what is most easily described as mouth-gasm of epic proportions. I highly recommend the al pastor and carnitas. To make it easy. I started with 3. Left with 6. 5 stars. Eat here.

Not bad, not great. Co-worker and I both ordered the 3 tacos your way, we got chicken, steak, and carne asada. Chicken was the worse, super plain and lacked seasoning; tasted like boiled chicken. Steak was okay, again lacked seasoning, but it was cooked perfectly and it had a nice texture. Carne asada was the best, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. It resembled more of a roast than asado, but I’m not splitting hairs on that. Overall it was pretty good, nothing special, but not horrible either.

One of my go-to lunch break spots; really good tacos and burrito bowls. I love that the flour tortillas are freshly made, and the staff can keep the line moving during a lunch rush. Great staff, great food, and THEBESTTORTA I’VEEVERHAD! The only complaint is that their water from the soda machine tastes a little funny. Hopefully someone can look into fixing that.

First time to try them out based on hearing good things. Showed up at 3 on Saturday and not a customer in the place. Order fairly quickly but the employee who asked us what we wanted on our tacos couldn’t seem to understand anything we were saying. After several attempts, I made it simple with just onions, cilantro and cheese. Between my mom, myself and two young kids(who split the regular cheese quesadilla) we paid $ 24+. Kind of shocked. We literally only ordered 3 tacos, 1 cheese quesadilla and chips and salsa. Tacos were tiny and the meat was very chewy.(Steak, carnitas and carne asada) the flavors weren’t bad, just chewy. The homemade tortilla chips on the other hand, were so hard we couldn’t eat them. Both myself and my mom told two different employees that we couldn’t eat the chips because they were so hard and they nonchalantly replied that«they were fresh». No «I’m sorry, we can get you some more.» Or «would you like you’re money back or something else?» By the way, the chips and salsa were $ 3 alone so it felt like we were a little robbed. I would have taken another taco in its place or something! But nope, no offer of anything. My mom and I were taken aback by that and I agreed I would talk to the manager. On our way out, I stood by the register to wait to ask for a manager. Before doing so, I asked to sample the horchata. A man dressed in a chef coat, which appeared to be in charge, gave me a nasty look as the girl behind the register gave me a sample. I then ask how much it was to the girl as the man in the chef coat snaps at me the price.(Very rudely) I then understood he was the man in charge and did not feel comfortable at that point letting him know our disappointment about the chips. We ended up just leaving very unsatisfied and very unwelcome. On any normal circumstances, I would have given them another shot, especially it being or first time to try it out but the overall attitude displayed throughout our visit made it clear we would never return. To top it off, I made a very similar review online at which the OWNER came on and accused me of not telling them I had a problem and basically attacked me. I guess they can afford to lose business with that type of attitude. I just couldn’t believe the way she came at me. Definitely no apology or anything. Overall, if you like very little food for your money and bad attitudes, this is the place for you. If not, I heard Cabo down the street was better. :) They will be on my list next to try! Since writing my review, someone also wrote a very similar review and I have been accused of enlisting my friends to bad mouth this business. I don’t even know the person who I have been accused of enlisting! I would not and have not ever done something like that. Heads up to anyone who might have an issue with this place. It appears the owner will have their friends or whomever to attack you on social media. I must say, this place is beyond unprofessional. It is scary the lengths they will take to attack you instead of actually reaching out to you and making it better. They can obviously afford to treat people this way. By seeing other’s reviews, I have not been the first. I have a feeling I won’t be the last.

WOW Susan O. of Hello Taco, You creeped and criticized my reviews of your competitor because of my review of your establishment… Your brave! You have no idea what steps may have been taken by that business in attempt to satisfy me as a customer. I suggest you focus on YOUR business as I don’t have to explain my reviews of others to YOU! If I could give you zero stars I would!

Not knowing what to expect coming in here but reading all of the other reviews had me interested. The prices might be a little high for just a few tacos or the other items but the fresh tortilla machine and the attitude of the staff puts it up there. Fountain drinks available and my favorite the quad iced tea machine where you can get green, rasberry, sweetened or unsweetened tea with the press of a button. There are about 3 or 4 tables to sit at outside A good place to visit if you are tired of the other staples of fast food.

It’s definitely time to award star number 5. So, what tips Hello Taco into this oh-so-elite category? 1. Fish tacos. I could eat them every day. I can’t say much more about them without getting hungry again. Try the shrimp, too, for that matter. 2. Tortas! I thought my torta-eating days were over when Viva Itacate disappeared, but Hello Taco actually tops my former favorite. I especially like the torta with carne asada, but it’s good with any of the meat options. Calling them«sandwiches» may be technically correct, but that just doesn’t do them justice. It’s like calling gumbo«soup.» 3. Specials. If you show up, and there’s a special, get it. Don’t think about it; don’t debate; just order. You’re welcome. There are a couple of new things on the menu as well: tacos al pastor, and chips and queso. The chips are homemade, of course. Did you expect anything less? Other than that, you’ve got consistently great tacos(with those made-to-order tortillas), hunger-busting burritos, perfect quesadillas, and the best folks ever working behind the counter. Have you ever had a real quesadilla made with good ingredients instead of Velveeta? Give it a try; it’s not just kid food. I find myself coming here more and more often, and I’ve been bringing friends and family every excuse I get. ;) But, in the end, the thing that matters most is that I always leave happy!

I have been wanting to try Hello Taco for a long time. Their weekly Facebook specials always look so yummy, but I never get a chance to go. Well today was cold and when they posted that their special was Albondigas, I knew I had to have that soup! It was worth the trip! The broth was flavorful and rich with lots of delicious meatballs. Not being able to resist carnitas, I had a few tacos as well. The carnitas were perfect! Tender, juicy, seasoned just right, and served in a homemade flour tortilla. Hello Taco serves tacos, burritos, tortas, bowls, and daily specials all made fresh. They also have several special homemade beverages, horchata(a creamy rice drink), jamaica(a drink made from hibiscus flowers), and tamarindo(made from tamarind root). All unique and delicious! For dessert you can have a slice of Marilyn’s famous chocolate chip cake, or if you’re lucky they made flan. The flan is some of the best I have ever eaten! So rich and creamy. I have to say the best part of the evening was getting to meet owners, Susan and Armando. It’s clear that they are passionate about their restaurant and the food they make.
