I am in he area for work and we so glad to find this gym. Plenty of auto belays with all levels of routes. These routes really push you and even some tall walls for endurance. Fantastic yoga and to top it all off a café. This place is awesome and don’t forget the good music !!!

First time here! It’s great! The staff is very helpful and they are definitely welcoming to new comers to make it less intimidating. Even if your not the «outdoorsy» type you would have a blast here. Give it a try! Can’t wait to try the café it has amazing reviews! PS. Took my heart rate monitor and this also makes a great work out. You def burn some calories.

We were missing our rock climbing activities and this place was recommended by a friend. The kids were excited to indulge in a favorite activity but sadly compared to Lifetime Fitness in Las Vegas this place felt short (in the kids area).
The staff is super friendly and accommodating. They help the kids put on their harnesses and provide shoes to climb.
There’s a grill and an area to sit and have some lunch/​dinner. The entire place smelled like a yummy burger! So if you’re hungry after climbing you’ll be tempted to eat! I may have to try out some items the next time I’m here.
The downer for me was the construction going on so it was crowded and the area for climbing was full. Lots of kids were climbing but they weren’t the best at taking turns.
I have passes that were purchased that we will use-​but honestly, I don’t think this was a winner for the puppets so I will update with each visit.

My boyfriend and I make the 30 min trek weekly to climb here. He even got a membership! It’s bigger, cleaner, and newer than TRG. The rocks are still gritty and have their original color. The routes seem to change section by section on a weekly or biweekly basis. Some walls are tall, but other walls are even TALLER! Once you get over the height, you have to train your muscles to endure through the long climb. There’s great diversity in levels (5.7 and up), auto-​belays (no partner needed), lead and top rope options, and, of course, bouldering. I also like that they color code the routes (1 route, 1 rock color) versus using tape which can get hard to see from above.
Don’t know how to climb? No worries, they teach you how to use the auto-​belays and how to top rope for free. The workers are really friendly and super knowledgeable about anything rock-​related.
And afterwards, treat yourself to one of their awesome pizzas! We like the ratatouille pizza :)

I’ve been here a couple times. Great gem. (see what I did there) ;) Seriously though, the staff is knowledgeable, and super nice. They have programs in the summer for kids. Competitions for adults. The café is top notch. The café is reason enough to go there alone. I’m for serious. If you are near North Houston /​Spring, you owe it to yourself to check out inspire rock.

Best climbing gym around the area, everyone who goes here will enjoy well lit climbing be it bouldering, top rope, or lead. They also have auto belays and very easy to follow color coordinated rock holds instead of taped off routes. Oh and they have some if the best pizza at their burger bar I’ve ever had.

The food and service here are excellent. I have had the pizzas and the most of the sandwiches and they are all good. Best gem in Spring.

We’ve had a great experience and warm welcome by the inSPIRE folks. We were looking for a great and safe place to work with our young autistic son with psychmotor development, motor planning and confidence. The kids cave was perfect and our son had an outstanding time and progressed quickly. Katie and Miss Becky took the time to answer our questions and Miss Becky was especially positive, patient and motivating. The main gym is also a great place for the adult size kids to climb and have a great time. We will be back. I do suggest you call ahead to make sure the Kids Cave isn’t booked for a party as it seems to be pretty popular.

I came here with the gf yesterday and have a very mixed opinion. The staff didn’t belay check us despite it being our first time there. One didn’t know what the lead test was and had to ask another staff member. The grading seemed as I expected. However, we had a major problem on the routes. There is a sixty lb difference between my gf and me. She couldn’t belay me as I would just pull her up due to no rope drag provided by the rotating drum the rope was on. This wasn’t a problem at a different gym using the same top rope setup as that gym put an extra loop of rope around the drum at the top. The staff were oblivious to the problem even though my gf nearly swung into one when I picked her up. If I was climbing with someone closer to my weight, this would be a four star review, but this problem really impacted our climbs.

Let me start by saying that I have only been here once before, though I am returning tomorrow to climb again… if anything in my review changes I will update it.
On first sight the gym was incredible, huge sweeping walls covered with bright, new holds. It was a bit intimidating, to be honest, as we typically climb at Texas Rock Gym which has walls roughly half the height of the big ones at inSPIRE.
The staff were all very welcoming and helpful… they took us into the gym to verify that we were knowledgeable enough to tie in and belay without killing ourselves or anyone else. It had been a while since we had to tie in, so it was a little nerve-​wracking having to remember how to tie a figure-​eight follow through knot while someone is watching and judging you. Luckily we were successful enough to get the nod to climb from our host.
The walls here are great, the routes seemed well set, and rated about right, meaning that I could climb at inSPIRE at the same grade that I can climb at TRG. The only difference was the length of the routes… I found myself getting seriously pumped on the tall walls — I just haven’t been training the endurance for the longer pitches.
To make a long story short (well, not that short, I suppose) it is a very fine gym and well worht the drive north of town for a change of pace and scenery. With no real rock within a coupole of hours of the city, it is nice to still be able to find a little climbing variety at the end of a short «road trip». Go check it out for yourself.

My department and I came here for a team-​building experience while we had young summer interns in tow. They had prepared team-​building exercises in an upstairs room for us that were silly, light-​hearted and fun. Afterwards, we headed to the monstrous obstacle course outside that was both daunting and challenging. Although it took a couple hours for all of us (about 20 people) to get through it, the workers were patient and guided us each section of the way. And I’ve never felt a rush than I did «bungee» jumping down to the ground after getting through the 3-​story-​high twists and turns. It was great!
Afterwards, we were treated to DELICIOUS homemade pizza in their upstairs party room, followed by some rock climbing. They have rocking climbing for both partners (spotting) and individual rock climbing, which is what I preferred. I wish I could’ve tried the more challenging areas with crazy angles.
Overall, the service was great, courteous and helpful in every way possible. If anyone is willing to talk to a frantic me for several minutes to help ease me to use a cord to fly 3 stories to the ground, they are a saint in my eyes!

One word — fantastic. My friend brought a group of us here for her birthday and we had a great time. About 20 dollars for an all day pass was a steal. The staff was very welcoming and very helpful. The owner came out and helped us climb the walls. He even gave us a tour of the facilities. I will definitely be back. Such a fun experience and a great workout on top of that!

Awesome gym. They provide more for their members than high dollar fitness clubs. Café, yoga studio, weight/​cardio room, child center — I am convinced this gym increases the value of the surrounding neighborhoods.
Great routine route setting that constantly is improving me as a climber. I never get the feeling of a stagnant wall like I have at other gyms. This gym is full of life and energy which makes for a great climbing experience.
The staff is knowledgeable about climbing and safety, super friendly and eager to help in any way possible. Again, I am really impressed with the quality, consistency and timing of the route setting. I never get bored climbing the same thing over and over again, you know why? Because the have really good route setters working around the clock! It rocks!!!
I love this place!

This is a SOLID climbing gym. Great amount of top-​rope choices and a solid bouldering section. I also love how they offer childcare and provide a reasonably priced café for real food (i.e. not cliffbars) and drinks.
A few things to note:
1. The top-​rope routes are much longer compared to Texas Rock Gym (TRG). Additionally, the harder holds are generally towards the top. Arms will get pumpy if you’re unaware.
2. Bouldering routes actually seem much easier compared to TRG. A V2−3 at Inspire is easily a V0−1 at TRG. While I find the boulder routes at TRG more challenging, I feel the Inspire routes are less technical, more accessible, and more enjoyable overall.

It started off great!
I’m a rock climbing novice so beginner’s levels are important to me. The easy levels were doable, and of course the challenging levels were insane. I’ve only been rock climbing a couple times before, but this place was better than the other ones. Many of the sections didn’t require a partner to hold you down, so you could do them by yourselves. Also this place offers more amenities than other rock climbing places I’ve been to. It offers yoga classes, a gym, and rooms to host parties, so it’s great for kids too.
The only setback were the employees. Some were very accommodating… but there were a few that were the exact opposite. One employee asked to use the wall my friends and I were ALREADY using for a demonstration for two girls. The interruption consisted of a demonstration on how to use the carabiner clip. That did not require an entire wall. The employee did it to look good for these girls, because he continued to check up on them throughout their stay. None of the other employees did that to any other person or any other group. It was highly unprofessional. That was only one of the instances I encountered there.
All in all everything permanent about this place is great. Employees, not so great. So 5 stars for the place and — 2 for the employees!
Service can make or break an experience.

The best in Texas for first time guests going just for fun or for serious membership for a great way to workout. 5 stars all the way.

Gotta lower to 3 stars because of the weekend hours. Why do they open so late on Sunday?

So many positive things to say about this place. First off, it’s HUGE. I think one of the best things about it is that even when there’s a good amount of people it still feels like you’ve all the space you need. Plenty of top rope routes and a two story bouldering area make it so easy to bounce from spot to spot without feeling like you’re climbing on top of someone.
I think the best quality this gym has, however, is the overall friendliness of the place. I’ve been toying with becoming a member at another local gym for awhile now, but have hesitated because of the vibe I always seem to feel when I walk in. This place, though, was amazingly welcoming. I went yesterday for the first time, and today I came back and joined their membership program immediately. Definitely give it a shot, folks.

I just moved to Houston in February and one of my biggest concerns was where I would go climbing. InSPIRE is a professionally organized and cleverly designed gym. I’m happy to have found a home here.
True beginners to seasoned rock warriors can have a great experience at this gym. The double decker boulders are nothing if not intimidating, but the pads under foot are very comfortable for a landing even from the very top. Trust me, I’ve tried.
The staff is friendly and attentive. Measures are taken to keep children out of harm’s way (and out from under you if you’re trying to crush that project, bro). Routes are set at high quality and refreshed often enough to keep a regular visitor enthusiastic about coming back. 43 foot tall rope climbing walls are a dream and the terrain is varied to accommodate a lot of different styles of climbing. I haven’t had the chance to explore the lead terrain yet, as I haven’t found a lead partner, but it looks like one of the bigger attractions for an experienced climber.
In addition, there is a yoga studio, birthday area, kids climbing area (which gets a lot of use and really segregates adult climbing from children’s), a great café with delicious food, and a pro shop. They all look excellent but since I haven’t used them very much to at all, I can’t comment on them any further.
Competitive pricing for what they offer and a smashing good time. If you’re a newbie hesitating about whether it’s worth it and whether you’ll be good enough — there’s only one way to find out and this is the best environment for you to try it! If you’re an experienced climbing junkie looking for a fix, this place can deliver the goods.

Best rock gym I’ve ever been too. Has auto belay, top rope, and lead climbing which is perfect for solo or climbing with friends. Also has 2 tier bouldering which is great. All the routes are marked by hold color instead of tape that most gyms use, which means you don’t have to worry about the tape falling off and having to try to figure out where the route is supposed to go. They’ve got yoga that my wife is looking forward to and a strength room and a cardio gym as well. The child care room, party room, and day care rooms all look nice but I don’t have kids so I have no opinion on those. Definitely worth a visit. If you plan on going more than a few times a month the membership pays for itself.
