Me and wife went here for a late night snack and arrived at the drive thru about 9:35 sat at the speaker for 10min before driving off. We saw a sign that said they didn’t close until 10:00 somebody should’ve told the workers. I would’ve but they had the doors locked and when they saw us driving up they ducked under the counter! My advice is to call before you go and hope they answer. But if I were you… I’d just stay away. That’s what we decided to do!

Well,. Here we go. It’s been long time since I’ve visited KFC or A&W. It won’t be soon that I visit again. I stopped in with my kids the place was like a ghost town empty with one other loner on the other side of the place. I placed our order for one adult and 3 kids. The kids all had the same exact order. It took way longer to get my food than had it taken should I have gone to a real restaurant. The order was all messed up and the employees complained to me that it was busy. They had all the condiments hoarded away on the business end and getting an employee to help get any ketchup was harder than getting a bartender to get you a beer at the most crowded bar at peak hours and every other customer being a Victoria’s Secret model. Anyway this place is horrible.

Worse KFC I have ever been to. Let’s just say I would stop eating chicken if this was the only place in spring to get fast food chicken. Plenty of workers behind the counter but they put my 5.00 box on the counter and with other customers I had no idea if it was my order. So ask the one lady«is this my order ». She ask the employees if that was my order. All the rest of the employees just look at each other like no one knows what the !!! Is going on !! So she opens my box to see what is in it and ask me if I had 5.00 chicken strip meal !! Needless to say I want be back !!

I had a terrible experience yesterday at this location. Not only bad but felt disrespected. Arrived like 10 minutes to 10 and went to the DT. They took the order for the card in front of me. I stayed waiting for my order to be taken and waited like 15 minutes without no one answering. They gave the food to the last card, the cashier just turned all light off and totally ignored me. I approached the window, even used my horn several times and they just ignored me again. Lousy service.

Terrible place to go. Dirty dining area and incompetent staff. The order has usually ended up always being wrong. This really sucks because I love a&w

I pulled into the drive-thru at 9:20 pm. I had worked well into the evening and had not eaten since lunch. I ordered a six piece chicken tender meal with sides of fries and mac and cheese. Then I drove home. As I set the bag down on the counter, I grabbed a couple of fries. Hard and cold! Spat them out in the nearby trashcan. Then I tried the rest of the meal. One taste of the mac and cheese(mealy, cold, coagulated), into the trash. Lastly, the chicken, hoping that I might get something worthwhile to eat. Alas, it was also cold and dry. Well, at least I might get the warm biscuit… nope, they had not included one with the meal. At least I saved the receipt and went on-line to report this disaster.

I’ve just had way too many problems with this restaurant: they’ve run out of chicken before. Yes, a KFC ran out of chicken. I was here on a weeknight and that’s what they told me. They tried to steer me to the A&W side of the menu, but I drove on. And still, I’ve come back. I have received stale biscuits and old fries, and been lied to that they were just made. And still, I’ve come back. But tonight, having the manager-on-duty, who’s clearly harried for whatever reason give me attitude on my order, and have her throw an item onto the tray in front of me unceremoniously and then walk off — yeah, I think I have had enough. Chick-Fil-A is less than a quarter mile away. Thanks for nothing, KFC on Kuykendahl, we are better off strangers.

I can only go on my experience but this has to be the poorest KFC in Houston! The manager is nowhere… Ever! The staff tonight(9⁄15) were average at best and the chicken was dry — I want to like this place because it’s so convenient — KFC used to be the place for chicken but we have Popeyes and chick-fil-a close! It was dead at 5.50pm — good luck but forget luck prepare chicken and serve it the way other states do it! And the way the colonel sanders would have had it ! Moist/hot and friendly

Wow! This is the second time I have waited and hour for overcooked crunchy chicken crust, cold mashed potatoes and dry biscuits. This place is terrible with customer service.

Oh. My. God. I can’t believe the level of drama today in the drive thru. I was texting the wife because it was taking so long and she was telling me that she always has to wait when she goes. This was ridiculous. The goal was to grab a quick meal. It took 19 minutes. Apparently the girl who took my order had quit her job and walked off by the time I made it to the window. There was one car ahead of me and apparently that person made the girl mad to the point she walked away from her dream job. Anyhow the food was cold and mediocre. Corn was horrible, I didn’t get what I asked for regarding the chicken, and the price I was charged didn’t match the menu.

I can go for a root beer float every once in a while if I am too lazy to get IBC/St Arnold’s. They also have halal original recipe. Once every six months, I need fried chicken, synthetic vmashed potatoes and a ton of buttery biscuits. I love biscuits. Haven’t had a burger yet.

One stop for chicken AND burgers? With rootbeer on tap? Works for me. They seemed nice enough, everything went well. No complaints.

So I had a craving for a burger & fries. My first mistake was not going to the Whataburger just up the street. My second mistake was going to this A&W/KFC location… First I pulled up to the drive thru and the lady in front of me couldn’t make up her mind and took FOREVER to order. I was 5 seconds away from just driving off, and now I wish that I did. But it was around 1:30pm and I was starving as I didn’t eat breakfast. Okay, I pull up and place my order, the A2 combo I think it was. A bacon double cheeseburger with fries and a root beer. Not complicated, right? Once again the lady in front of me seems to be making life difficult for the cashier and I think she was trying to change her order once again because it took FOREVER for her to get all her food. I pull up, he confirms my order and I pay him. He hands me a bag(which my mistake for not opening and checking) and asks me to hold on a second while he enters in someones order in the drive thru. No biggie… I get my drink and I’m on my way back to the office… I finally make it back to the office, carry all my stuff in from shopping and the food I picked up. Sit down, open the bag… WTF??? WHEREISMYFREAKINGBACONDOUBLECHEESEBURGERANDFRIES!!! Instead I find like a six piece of chicken strips… *grumble* As it was already 2pm and I was about to pass out I scarfed it down. Sadly it was cold and chewy… And there wasn’t even any sides in the back, or even any ketchup! I know, my mistake for not looking in the bag, but I was so ticked at the stupid person in front of me that I just wanted to be on my way. I would have thought the cashier would have checked the bag like they do at EVERYOTHERFASTFOODPLACE… That was my first and last experience at the A&W restaurant… Next time I want a fast burger I’ll go to whataburger or sonic… They have never messed up an order for me…
