I’m giving this place three stars just because I think the price is outrageous. I love their chicken tenders. Super moist and tender. The mashed potatoes and gravy is delicious however they’re skimpy on the gravy. Red beans and rice is delicious. Oh, the best part is that they have Cajun sparkle. Not every state has it. If you haven’t tried it yet then I recommend you do. You won’t regret it.

When they first opened The management was very friendly to me and offered me free food just to return (with my receipt of another purchase). Awesome management. I never took him up on the offer for freebies but now I go there all the time just because they are cool.
The best spicy chicken by far!!! Delicious mashed potatoes too!!!

We dined in and were impressed with how clean, shiny and new this Popeye’s is. The staff is great too, very friendly. They bring the food to your table as well.
They got my order wrong but when I mentioned this, they were apologetic and fixed it right away. And they asked us if we wanted to keep the wrong order food. The food was fresh and tasty.

My husband and I went to this Popeyes later in the evening. We went through the drive-through and was told that our chicken was being cooked and would need to wait for 5 minutes for it to be ready. We went inside to wait for our food. The inside was very nice and clean, but the staff was running around like a three ring circus. Everyone was yelling at each other in Spanish. When our food was finally ready, and slightly overlooked, we chowed down as quickly as possible to get out of the zoo. As we were leaving, the manager was nice enough to ask how our food was. We will be back, but I didn’t expect a fast food restaurant in such a nice area to be so rowdy already.

A nice shiny Popeye’s has opened on 2920! It’s a nice looking place, with the fancy TV screen menus, with seating for about 65. The menu is the same as all the other locations. Service was quick, but there wasn’t really anyone else here.
I will tell you that they have some of the best red beans and rice for the money. If you were even debating the sides, skip the mashed potatoes with the Cajun gravy and get a double order of the red beans!!!
It’s probably good thing for my waistline and cholesterol levels that this place is not open late on the weekend (like after the bars close).
