OMG– I just left the restaurant in the middle of my meal because a cockroach was on the plates/food at the table. I quietly told the woman working the register & she came and removed it as it was running around the lemon sauce– she said not to worry it wasn’t actually on the food & all restaurants have them. She very reluctantly removed only 1 of the dishes from the bill, only after I told her a health inspector would disagree it was«normal» for them to be on a dining table! I will Never return –how Gross and disgusting– and to say it was normal!!!

Walked in and walked out. The place looked dirty and run down. no one was eating there. Can’t give them a 1 star because I didn’t stay to find out if the food was good to bad. Prices were high. My better judgement told me to go elsewhere.

Walked in and I was the only customer there. Ordered pot stickers and egg rolls. 8 minutes later they tell me they don’t have enough pot stickers. So I switch to Hot & Sour soup and egg rolls. Now I get my ice tea. 17 minutes from the time I sat down I get my items. The soup, although think and hearty, had no flavor. The egg rolls? Meh.

When you first walk in to Rice Bowl you think… why am I here. It is definitely not appealing to the eye. It is a run down shack that does not give you the sense of cleanliness. It is family owned Mom, Dad and daughter. I assume this because the very stern faced mother is taking orders and running checks the daughter is busing tables and dad is cooking in the back. Nothing about the rice bowl is really great or even good… except the food. The food is delicious! I recommend the Hot and Sour Soup and the Cashew Chicken but I wouldn’t doubt that everything is good there.

Good food for take out, love the egg plant, Mongolian beef, sesame beef, double pan fried noodles, house fried rice.

Great food at a great price. It’s more of a carry out than dine in place. Delivery is now available through a website. Each entrée will easily serve two hungry people. Three kids can share and order.

I have gone there a few times for lunch and although the décor is outdated and it’s warm in the summer, the food is edible. IToday I went in and somethines the service is slow so instead of waiting for the check, I went to the front counter to pay. When I asked how much it was(because I could not read her writing) I was told the amount and as I started to pay her, she abruptly told me I did not leave a tip last time. I was so shocked, I wasn;t sure how to respond because I always leave a tip and it’s usually very generous. I will not be vback. Mediocre food, poor service and no AC. there’s too many other places to go.

Average food at ridiculous price. I spent $ 20 more than comparable establishments, and it wasn’t even that good

First off, I rarely dine in, I usually order food to go. The service is a little slow, even when ordering food to go. The quality and taste of the food is worth the wait though. Best Chinese food in this area by far!

The food is lousy. It tasted like freezer burn and was very greasy with in even cooked textures. Theo side of the restaurant was dingy and humid and the lady behind the counter was dry abrupt. I will not go back.

This our first Chinese food experience since moving frim Chicago. Ordered the Orange Chicken and ordered Mongolian Chicken(spicy). The orange chicken was very good. It wasn’t spicy and the portion was large. The Mongolian Chicken was great. Huge portion and spicy as ordered. This was by far the best Chinese food experience we’ve had in several years. I can’t wait to try a few other things off the menu.

The first thing me and my boyfriend noticed was there was no AC! The lady at the front door just handed us menus and told us to sit down. So instead of dine-in we decided to get take out. We were not impressed at all. I had the General Tso’s and I could not finish my meal, I felt like I was eating frozen food that I heated up in the microwave! We also ordered crab puffs and they weren’t all that great. We honestly felt so disappointed because it’s the closest Chinese restaurant to us so we were hoping it would turn out great! What a disappointment!

Good food, pretty reasonable prices. I wish they delivered, but it is worth driving for.

Love this place. It’s the best Chinese food in Spring. The Dumplings are awesome… the Crispy Asian Chicken, Lemon Chicken, General Tso’s, and Broccoli Beef are all fantastic and reasonably priced. The dinner portions are huge… with one order enough to feed two people. The lunch portions are very filling and just as good! We go at least twice a month and haven’t found a place that’s even remotely competitive for price/taste/quality.

Really good Chinese food can be found here. It’s a mom and pop place. Only two people making it all happen. I’ve had many of their dishes and everything has been good. Their food comes out hot, fresh and clean. Their crispy egg rolls are exceptional. Today we had the Asian Crispy Chicken and the Vegetable Chow Mein which they actually have listed backwards on the menu. Their Lo Mein is crispy, but this is explained when you order. The lady who runs the front works hard. I wouldn’t say she is the most chatty person, but she efficiently waits tables, takes phone orders, and runs the cash register. The décor isn’t much. We like it for take out. For Chinese food, they are hard to beat. Far better than mushy warm junk at a buffet.
