Shipley Donuts

This location was busy, as are most on Sunday morning. Yet the staff was bright eyed and bushy tailed. No problem taking my order promptly and without mistake.

Always has large variety of donuts available. Attitudes are not always great but I guess everyone has their day.

I went there on Saturday so the drive through line was not a problem. But they don’t sell Beignet nor pumpkin Latte… disappointed.

Drive they service was fast. Donuts were still fresh, and warm and so delicious! Classic Shipley’s experience.

Don’t waste your time this place is extremely slow they always take their time their drive through line is ridiculous

Driving up was a little confusing, I wasn’t sure if you stopped somewhere to order first then head to the window or what. I finally decided to drive up to the window to find out that’s where you order. Being that it was my first time there, I didn’t like the idea of not knowing the prices of things before ordering, and also not knowing what was even on the menu. We decided to order a dozen glazed donuts and two «sausage» and cheese kolaches. Not sure what their definition of sausage is, but that was a salty hotdog. I also wanted a frozen drink, but apparently they don’t serve those, a menu would be nice. Anywayz it’s NO Krispy Kreme, but it was worth the 11 bucks and change. Probably won’t return.

Ridiculous! Love their donuts… But, I’ve been sitting in this drive-​thru line for the last 15 minutes. There are still 6 vehicles behind me, who even if they wanted to get out of line, there is no by pass lane.
Please work on a speedier drive-​thru.

These donuts are simply delicious! And I don’t LIKE donuts, usually! My fiancé and I specially came back two years later, our first time back at the Houston airport. We weren’t even at the same gate, but it was worth it. Both the cake and yeast varieties are quite tasty.
I’ll probably be back in two years. I donut think I’ll stumble upon a Shipley’s before then. ;]

Typical Shipley’s, their selection & quality is (thankfully) pretty consistent across all stores that I’ve come across. Always love the donuts & old-​fashioned cinnamon rolls. The coffee is always pipping hot, but it’s a little annoying to have to open half a dozen little creamers, a simple single large container of half-&-half would work so much better.
Their kolaches are hot & fresh too usually, but they use a smaller sausage than most other independent donut shops in the area. I prefer a greater meat to bread ratio in my kolache. I heard some locations have the «Big Earl Campbell Sausage Kolaches», but as far as I can tell this location does not.
This store is located right on the corner of the intersection at Louetta & Holzwarth before you get to I-​45. It’s a little precarious getting in & out depending on the direction you are coming from because there are medians stretching out from the intersection preventing people from making left-turn’s in & out of the place.
Despite the heavy traffic, the inside is always very clean and has that nice fresh baked donut smell. It can be a little noisy at times with all the machinery and people working frantically in the background, but that is good because you know they are always making fresh donuts!
This is probably my go-​to donut shop when I’m running errands, it’s right along the way when going to Home Depot or Target…

We found this place by mistake and what a great find it was!
We each got two donuts, I got the chocolate glazed and the chocolate filled and my fiancé got the strawberry glazed and the chocolate with cream filled. All I can say is wow! The donuts melt in your mouth and they are so full of flavor which makes them very much worth the calories…
The service was also great, very quick and on point.

Plain glazed donuts from a fresh batch still hot and pillowy… need I say more?
