Little Gym has great instructors for the class, however, my updated review is based on other incidents. First of all, I think Little Gym desires to Try and make every parent happy, so they won’t loose«customers.» Mind you, this is a franchise. This location had an end of year fun day that included siblings to join in a class for Specifically for children under 2. The owners should really consider what they thought when it was opened to siblings. Especially, when a parent brings in more than one sibling and the age differences. I get pretty errrrkkked when parents aren’t considering other children. The instructor clearly tells parents that the older kids should sit out during certain activities geared to little ones(safety aka getting trampled). Staff need to acknowledge the situation, even though, her response was, «I can’t catch everything.» So if a typical class has xxx number of kids to match ratio, then it is in their best interest to reiterate the rules or bring in another instructor. Unfortunately, my tiny 1 year old was trampled on by a child who was clearly too old for this class. Parents, please consider other peoples children!!! My other issue is that I have come early enough on several occasions where I know they don’t spray down the mats before another class begins. Maybe the cleaning supplies they use won’t dry in time for next class to start, but for sure my daughter caught pink eye right away! Snotty sickly coughing kids should stay home. I’ve seen a child come to class this way. Little Gym Spring was fun while it lasted. Unfortunately, they lost me as a customer.

I was very nervous to throw a party there because I had no idea what to expect but just went for it. Most of the children were from 9months to 3years old. The young ladies helping out were great hostesses and very energetic. They worked well with all the children and were very patient, they transitioned from activity to activity very smoothly. What I liked the most was that they offered to do everything, cut the cake, pass out the party favors, I mean, they were extremely helpful and totally took my anxiety away. Great job ladies!!!

Just had my daughters 3rd birthday party at The Little Gym of Spring over the weekend… and I could not be happier!!! This place is SO nice, clean, in a great part of town and the perfect place for a birthday party. Everything was right on schedule, and I didn’t have to stress about anything. All I had to do was show up with a cake and my child and the party was perfect. The only thing that threw me off at the end was asking if I wanted to pay gratuity… with the amount of money I paid for the place I was really caught off guard being asked to pay more. Overall, this place is amazing and I will definitely be back!

We enrolled our son when he was around 14 months so that he could interact with other kids since he was home with family since the day he was born. He is in the Birds class and I was a bit nervous at first because alot of the kids were walking and my son was just not at that milestone yet. The first few times, he participated but would get a bit upset since everything was so new to him. The teacher, Ms. Kirsten, is absolutely wonderful. She is patient, caring, and looks like she has just as much fun as the kids do. She encourages parents to participate and if their kids are wandering off, tells them to let them explore. Going to be hard not being in her class once my son moves to the next level. The classes are about 45 minutes long. They start the class with a song that involves these bell shakers and then after the song, the kids are encouraged to put the bells away back into the box. My son used to not do that and now he returns his bell and other bells still on the gym mat. :) Definitely alot of helpful lessons are taught here. Every week there is a baby sign language that corresponds to the class theme. A warm up walk/run follows and then an activity on the mat, followed by EXPLORATION time where the kids can do whatever they want in the gym like walk on the balance beam, try the high bar, etc. Then a skill of the week is taught on one of the apparatus and then more exploring fun, followed by sensory ball fun and then bubbles and a ending song. When exiting, the kids get stamps on their feet! Now that my son is walking/running everywhere, he LOVES the Little Gym as opposed to the first few times where he would cry. We get there and he is waiting by the door for Ms. Kirsten to open up to get into the gym area. He participates well and has tried alot of the obstacles set up in the gym. He even tries to go back in for a second session once his class is over! Oh, and last week, he walked himself out to get his feet stamped all by himself! Did not even wait for Mommy and Daddy! I cannot tell you how much the Little Gym has helped my son grow over the last 4 months! Thanks to the Little Gym, my son is very social when he had to start daycare this month. :) Overall, a great place for kids to learn skills and be independent! They also offer a TON of other classes for different age groups and have summer camps and Parent Survival Night. I highly recommend the Little Gym to parents, especially first time parents. :)
