Max & Erma’s

Our food to 45 minutes to arrive, once it was delivered, the fries didn’t have season salt, no ketchup, and my salad came without dressing! After I walked up to the front to request the manager, he came out from the kitchen (because he was cooking) he explained that he may not look like the manager but he was. He then told us that he understood that there were problems and he was not concerned about how we got here the fact is that we were upset and he committed to take care of us so we would not have anything to worry about. So when we got our check I looked and saw that it was not discounted so I asked again for Dennis. He came out again and said «oh sorry I didn’t take care of that, here let me go adjust this», he returned and gave me the employee discount on my bill (25−30%).

My father in law loves this place… he recommends the trio combo burger fries soup and cookie. …endless fries too… always good service as well. .we’ll come back

Just ordered carry out. It was terrible.
They forgot the cheese sauce for the pretzel sticks. They told my wife they didn’t have a burger (Tony’s bodacious burger) and they did. Then they forgot the cheese for the tortilla soup and added onions to the burger when she said no onions.
We’ve been inside and it’s been ok. It seems like carry out is always messed up. Anyways, check your order and recheck again.
We called to tell the manager and they were less than enthused. With so many options in the area we will be patronizing other restaurants.

Family couldn’t decide to go to Max & Ermas or Applebee’s … We should have chosen Applebee’s. The entire family’s dinner was brought out about 45 minutes later one of our daughters dinner wasn’t right. There were several empty tables around us., they were not that busy yet we hardly saw our server. I could’ve used at least one refill which I was never offered.

Every time I go here it’s never busy but it still somehow takes FOREVER to get your food! Then when you finally get your food, it’s basically almost room temperature. I don’t understand. It’s completely gone downhill. I miss when this place first opened, they were on top of everything.
Just Don’t come here expecting to grab a tasty quick lunch :/

Finally a restaurant that will microwave their frozen food for you. Aside from the cookies they’ll charge an arm and a leg for, this place is barely worth visiting.

I’ve eaten here many times. The food is good and the drink specials are great. Trivia on Thursday between 7−10pm was great. The sexy bartender Katie made for a great evening and makes perfect drinks.

I must say that this place is going down hill. I hardly ever get to eat at Max & Ermas anymore because no one else likes it. On the rare occasion I get to I really look forward to it. Sadly I was very disappointed this time around. My tortilla soup was like warm, the waitress acted like it was a huge thing to split the appetizer on the bill, the pretzel sticks weren’t very hot and the cheese sauce was watery, and my club sandwich tasted like it sat for awhile before it was served to me. The best pet of the meal was the bite of chicken finger I snuck off my daughters plate. My biggest disappointment was them no longer having watermelon lemonade. I loved those things. :-(

Service was slow. I didn’t get offered a refill until my class had been empty for five minutes and it was from a totally different waitress. I never got my Tortillia soup and had to ask the manager for it, who was the one delivering our food instead of our waitress.
I’m assuming our waitress was busy but considering I’ve been a waitress previously I was not impressed.

Server was very polite although slow. Aunt Patty melt was very greasy but cooked well and tasted fine. The salad could have been fresher (lettuce was wilted and turning brown in places) and there was a dirty fork in our silverware, but overall it was fine. My friend got the 3^rd St Salad and said it was fine. Be aware the lunch portion is truly lunch-sized…only slightly bigger than a side salad. Lunch for two was $ 25.

If you eat there not a bad value. If you get it to go, not so much. And make sure to heck your order or you’ll likely be going back a second time to pickup the remaining part of your order. That’s happened more than twice this year alone. To go orders are typically lunch size vs dinner size regardless of what portion you order. Example, the chicken mozzerella cibata sandwich with salad. The bun overwhelms the chicken and toppings. The salad is very small, 4 – 6 bites and it’s gone

Friendly staff but poor service and food quality… Ordered the Loredo Steak… which in the photo it looks great… instead I received the small slices of steak that came out cold… funny they even used oven mitts to serve this meal. I had to ask if I could substitute a soup for the salad… the answer oh yeah we can do that… little did I know it was a $ 2.99 up charge! The soup was a cup of chili which was more like half a cup and again… luke warm and more like tomato paste. My daughter ordered a cup of chicken noodle soup, a chicken sandwich and a salad. The chicken was cold, the soup luke warm and the wrong dressing was on the salad. This place definitely not worth the $ 40 I drop on this place for a lunch that was a anything but good.

Pretty consistent burger experience for our family. Wait service can be a little spotty, but I imagine the usual turnover accounts for that. Portions are substantial. Quality of fare has gotten no dings from our crew. Options are plentiful. The fresh-​baked choc cookies are outstanding. Management has always been attentive. Prices are reasonable. Bar is just fine.

Service was better than the one at Bridgewater Falls. Food was just average for what we ordered (burger and side salad).

Just received a 5 meal carry out order from this particular Max & Erma’s. My family and I found that they hadn’t filled a single order correctly. They sent two fish and chips, both minus the chips, a Honky Tonk burger without the pork. The list goes on. Every meal was skimpy on french fries, one only having 5 or 6 fries. All the orders were cold, and my uncle who went to pick it up actually sat for a half hour after they set one of our bags down, waiting for the second. There were 42 people waiting to be seated (he counted) but the sheer incompetency that this establishment showed my family and I tonight has guaranteed that we will only be returning to spend the $ 50 gift card they agreed to give us after a quick, and livid, phone call. I am never eating there again after that, and hopefully I won’t have to send the orders back if they screw up again.

Not the same, the one on Kingsridge started it all, this is nothing but a cookie cutter setup of a once was great place, … sorry but the new Max N Erma’s SUCKS!

This place makes me a little insane.
I live and die for Max and Erma’s tortilla soup. I crave it all the time. This location is very close to my work so you would that would be my lunchtime dream.
WRONG.
The service kills this place.
I come for the soup. I usually get other food, too. But please, don’t bring me cold soup, or FORGET TO BRING ME MY SOUP all together. That will piss me off, and make your tip disappear. Also, drink refills are nice. And I’d like to not spend the next 3 hours of my life in your restaurant.
If you really want your Max and Erma’s fix make the drive to the location near the Fairfield Commons Mall.

Good value for your money. Pretty consistant food. Kid friendly
