Went in for late lunch around 2:30, no customers in the place. Woman who took my order had no idea how to run the cash register and had to have help. Once she finally got everything in the machine, I paid, she got my lemonade and then went back to sweeping the floor. No one was behind the counter. I went to the restroom and when I came out that is when the big red haired cook finally put my order slip up on the grill to start. According to the order slip it took 17 minutes to get my order! I’d sure hate to see the place when they are busy!

The food is always delicious and the place is always clean. My biggest complaint is the staff. It’s a challenge to call in a ‘to go’ order as I usually always get a busy signal. When they do answer they put you on hold. Sometimes I feel like I’m doing them a favor by stopping in. If they could fix the staffing issues I’d give them 5 stars.

Waited 10 minutes to order and another 5 to pay for food. Guy in front of me left before ordering said had been waiting 8 minutes to order. Had cheesesteak — terrible — worst I have had in a long time.

My last visit to Penn Station was horrific! I went to the Springboro location and the staff was incredibly rude and the fries were over cooked and soggy. I emailed Penn Station with a detailed complaint about my bad experience and never received any feedback. A wag of my finger to you Penn Station, your sandwiches are simply not enough for my returning service!

I’ve had problems here on a few visits. Always seems it could be a bit cleaner. Prior visits I’ve had complaints about portions and my order. Things like ordering a large and getting a medium sub, medium fry ordered and get a small, skimpy toppings etc. Voiced complaints to manager and received a free sub for a future visit. I used it at another location. Last night was a bad experience. While waiting in line, which was unusally slow for some reason, (order mix up from what I could tell). While waiting, my wife noticed no one was wearing gloves prepping the food. She said she would only eat fries if I wanted to stay, so we left.

I have not a single complaint about this establishment. The food is delicious, staff friendly, service speedy, dining area clean, just all around a wonderful experience. I especially love the lemonade, squeezed at the store. They have eat in, carry out, or you can call ahead and drive up to a pick up window. If you have not experienced a Penn Station, get there today!
