This is hands down the finest pizzeria in Northwest Arkansasf. Inspired pizzas, pastas, salads, cocktails, and desserts by Chef Miles James(who also has James at the Mill in Johnson). A lot of first timer’s think this is a road house restaurant until they walk inside to be greeted with an amazing staff and even more amazing food. This place is truly a fine dining experience on a level that you probably have never experienced before for a «pizza shop». Trust me, there is nothing like this anywhere, and I travel the globe. Run, don’t walk to MJ Pizzeria!

This place is awesome. The pizza is fantastic and the service is too. We love the BYOP(Build Your Own Pizza) with goat cheese and cured olives. The pizza is so good that my husband and I can finish a large ourselves(although we shouldn’t)! Highly recommended.

Sadly I was very disappointed with this place and won’t be back. Honestly I think some will like this place but it wasn’t what I was looking for. There was no regular garlic bread sticks and no supreme pizza option so you have to order a meat lovers then take away topping and add what you want and make sure not to go over because extra toppings are $ 2. There was a kind of bread stick option but it lacked flavor and marinara sause was an extra $ 0.50 ranch was also an extra $ 0.50. You have the choice of a small pizza or a large. The green and black olives are kept together so if you don’t like the salty taste of green olives don’t get olives very salty. They do have fresh parmesan and clothe napkins and a huge drink list of beer and wines

Worst service in Northwest Arkansas. Pizza is great and so are the salads. However, I’ve been there 3 times… twice for lunch and once for dinner. Always takes a minimum of 2 hours. Was there last week and they were giving people 45 minute wait times with a third of the tables empty. Staff is super slow and management is poor.

Horrible! Don’t go here because I need to be able to get a table without a two hour wait! This place is manna from heaven! Miles James is a food God!

Food, 4 stars, totally, but it took forever. There were 5 tables in the restaurant including us, 3 of which had already eaten and it took 35 minutes to get a pizza, ridiculous. I grew up in pizza places, a pizza like theirs should cook in 4 minutes max. Fail.

The food was okay. The staff was extremely slow. The patio and live music were definitely a plus. Pricey.

Great authentic pizza for a reasonable price. I was really surprised at how nice the building was on the inside, and they have a patio!

A great modern and stylish pizza place with gourmet pizza, pasta and salads. We got the spicy buffalo pizza and it was amazing. They also hand grate the Parmesan cheese on the pizza for you. It’s worth a visit.

First time trying this place. Not too far from where I live. I heard good things, but 3 stars on my trusty Unilocal concerned me. I bit the bullet and ordered to go — 3 small pizzas, caesar salad, and choke dip for a pretty decent price. The margherita was delicious, the four seasons fantastic(now my fav), and the spicy chicken(not one I’d normally pick) was surprisingly good. The choke dip was some of the best I’ve had. The only negative was the salad. It was okay, but fell short on being a good ceasar. I will definitely return for dine-in.

I had called my order in Sunday was told it would be 20 minutes. When I arrived it was cold. Asked them to make me another one was gold no I said I was not paying for this one. When they finally made me one the boy/cook started to argu with me some words was exchanged the boy/cook then told me that he would beat my ass then took off his jacket and waited out side. I would. Never step a foot back in that shit hole

We have been back many times for this wonderful pizza. We recently tried the calzone and were pleasantly surprised. Great beer and wine selection. Also, they can make a latte which is a plus on a Sunday for brunch. We haven’t tried the pastas yet, but will soon. Look forward to our next visit.

Greasy pizza. Not enough napkins in the world to be of any help. The flavor was good, the crust was nice and crispy the sauce was of little flavor. Unless someone begs me to go back I doubt I do. So disappointed.

I ordered the Big Mediterranean Salad. The half fingerling potato was cooked but ice cold under a fried egg, farm fresh means oddly undercooked. The egg was cooked but clear goop under the egg was off. The pizza was excellent, the large was really VERY large, the beer selection was great. Wine by the glass specials was not so attractive considering if I’m eating pizza a house glass is fine. I’m still giving this place 4 stars because it has potential for sure. The menu is about right, although there is no kids menu, separate salad from the appetizers and calzones from the pizza menu. The wait staff isn’t very friendly, they are just doing their jobs. 4 glasses of beer, 1 soda, 1 salad, one lrg pizza was $ 58.

I had high hopes for this place. It’s nice enough when you walk in. I mean, come on, it’s a pizza joint. They do try to church it up a bit, but you have to call a spade a spade. It was clean, which I would definitely expect from it being so new. So it does have that going for it. On my visit, I had my entire family with me. Wife, 7 year old, and an almost 2 year old. I almost felt like the host was a little put out about having to get a high chair, but frankly, I don’t give a rip. We were seated in a booth in the back(this place is small…10 feet in IS the back). This was fine with me. Drink orders were put in and we began to shop the menu. While we waited(and waited) for our drinks, we had a good time being underwhelmed by the menu. I would have just expected more options. But then again, I’m spoiled by Joe Mamas in Tulsa, OK. The menu did have some uppity items, which I shouldn’t be too surprised about considering the name of the place. It just seemed a little much. I mean, it’s a pizza place for crying out loud. Anyway, our drinks finally came out and we ended up ordering a custom pizza since we couldn’t find anything to our liking on the menu. I think it was chicken and pepperoni, which is fairly standard flare for us. We waited… and waited… and I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs came back and then we had another ice age. That’s how long it took for a brick oven pizza to come out. Now I know a brick oven pizza bakes in about 3 minutes or so. Account for waiting for others in front of us(it wasn’t packed) and it was still way too long. When the pizza did finally arrive it was what I would expect. Thin, burnt spots on the crust, that kind of deal. Pretty much what I expect from a brick oven pizza. The pizza was just ok to decent for me. It wasn’t anything I would rave to friends about or even recommend. I don’t recall the price, which could be a good or bad thing. In short, take a visit there if you have some friends you are drinking with and aren’t pressed for time. It seems like it would be ok for something like that. But with a family, I can’t really recommend it. Particularly with a 7 year old who kept commenting about being starving.

Sister in law brought 4 pizzas from here home for the Arkansas vs Auburn game. I must say I was impressed. I had the all meat one and loved the meatballs, which typically I don’t like on pizza. But my favorite was the Tart Flambee, it was so tasty. Overall I’d say the crust was the best in NWA I’ve ever had. If this pizza was that good as take out I can’t wait to try it as a dine in option.

Went early with 3 yr old. Worked out great. Fresh salad, and got the Tarte Flambée Pizza. It was dynamite. I feel like the poor reviews are due to a new business ironing out the kinks. Our waitress was great, accommodating. Can’t wait to go back.

If you are a pizza fan, you need to try this place. It’s on the pricier side with large pies going for 15 – 20 bucks. I think they use the same ball of dough for the small(personal) pizzas as the large(serves 2 – 3 people) so if you order a small pizza, you’ll get about 2 inches of puffy crust and a relatively small center section but the large pizza crust/center proportions are much closer to what you might expect in a pizza. The pizza is cooked in a wood fired oven which means the pizza should have a nice crispy delicate shell on the bottom from the intense heat. It’s certainly one of the best pizzas in NWA but it may not satisfy the pallets of the unfortunate souls weened on $ 5 pizza. The build your own pizza can be a challenging offering because too many of the wrong toppings will impact cooking times as well as the taste of the final pizza. Service is good, they keep the soft drinks refilled and the atmosphere is very nice. Not sure if the location will lend itself to large crowds but it is easily accessible off the elm springs exit right next to macadoodles.
