As a food snobby Californian, I didn’t want to like this place.(Trying to keep off the 20 lbs I lost a year ago) The waffles were soft and fresh! I hate overcooked food. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Way too much butter and grease as expected but apparently that helps taste. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The hash browns were different than I’m used to but again, no issues. My 5 yr old couldn’t get enough. Two bummers… I’ve had better coffee and they only serve OJ. I’m allergic and prefer cranberry, but oh well.

Keep in mind this is Wafflehouse, and 5 Stars is subjective. Start with the Cons: 1. Old building, not updated Pros: 1. Staff is awesome. All 4 of them working at 11 pm were engaging and had smiles on their faces. They seemed to like working with each other — it’s a small space and they’re constantly having to work around each other. 2. Service is quick 3. Food is good. We only had waffles, but they were really good waffles. 4. Price is good I read some of the other reviews that were not very positive, and I know each person has their own experience — I would say you have to adjust your state of mind when going to Wafflehouse. It’s pretty«redneck» but that’s ½ the ambiance. :-)

Ewe! Ghetto! I understand it was busy but also saw how some things were unnecessary. Wanted to say when handling people’s food wash your hands more often especially when u blow your nose & they were really handling the food. Gosh I hope I don’t get sick. They wanted to charge me 10% or a tip for carry out I got my order well over an our later. Then I had to wait in a long line to pay for it that was another ordeal. I worked at Waffle House before during drunk college night & did a better job. The blonde one was cool the rest seemed frazzled. They did have rythum & busted their behinds.

Last time I was there there was a cockroach on the menus by the silverware just hanging out and swaying it’s antennas back and forth. It was discusting to see and when we told the waitress she just picked the menu where the critter was up and took it to the back. Didn’t say a word just ignored it all like it didn’t happen. I will never go back to a Waffle House again. My wife and I refer to all Waffle Houses as «Roach House».

It’s Waffle House, what more is there to say? To be honest I would have preferred thicker gravy for my biscuits but I’ll survive

Good for a quick breakfast any time of the day! Used to check their sausage for a diff company but now, just enjoy the food!

I was 16 and in Tenessee the first time I tried the place with orange/yellow tiles and black letters. I’m not sure if its just the fact that I can’t get this delcious-ness in Vegas, or if its really THATGOOD, but I could eat here daily and be happy. Not to mention I could eat here daily for $ 8 including a tip, entire breakfast, juice and coffee. I grubbed here 4 times while visiting Arkansas. So much that the staff would adress me as «vegas girl». I switched it up and got smothered and covered, and chunked and peppered. Of course had the waffle, always a side of sausage(patties not links). It’s just the overall ambiance that the Waffle House offers. The genuine customer service, the great prices, I even appreciate the 2 old southern ladies who only tipped .50.(I left an extra $ 2 that day) Born and Raised Vegas people such as myself, don’t appreciate a true breakfast like this one, until they’ve had it.
