I like their smoothies. I get one with watermelon, orange juice and something else. I forget, but it’s tasty. The food is ok. I don’t typically order any, so I can’t remember specifically what was good or bad. It’s been a while since I’ve eaten there. I usually stick to smoothies.

I wanted to like this place because it had good reviews but unfortunately I didn’t like it at all. I was really hungry too so it could have been decent food and I would have been happy. I ordered 2 steak and 1 ground beef taco to go. When I opened my container the tacos had tipped over so it turned out to be more like nachos. Anyway coming from San Diego where Mexican food is amazing I was super disappointed! The food was so bland and the tacos had no sour cream or guacamole. Horrible! Also I had to ask for hot sauce to go because they don’t automatically give it to you. The hot sauce was really watered down. You could get better hot sauce at the grocery store. Overall will not return for the food. I did notice that the reviews on Unilocal praise their smoothies so maybe I will try that if I ever am at the mall and want to give this place another shot.

The guy was really rude to me when I ordered my drink. He said«are you sure you want it, you’ve had it before?» Uh, yea. I’ve had it before and that’s what I want to order. Did the same thing to my friend. Drink was ok, not as good as the other places I’ve been too.

Awesome smoothies, great simple Mexican food. They are now located at the end where the movie theater is.

I’ve had a love affair with the smoothies here for a LONG time. I can’t remember how long it’s been in the mall, but at least a few years now. I would sometimes stop by the mall just to grab a smoothie. The ingredients are fresh, the service is fast and friendly, and the drinks are well made. The same woman has been making these smoothies as far back as I can remember and she always has a smile on her face. All this makes for an excellent smoothie experience. I’ve never had the food, so I can speak to that, but if you are unfortunate enough to find yourself at Gateway, stop by this place and grab yourself a smoothie.

Monday night ritual: banking & a light dinner. They never disappoint. Typically I would not give 4 Stars to food court fare, but these folks are very courteous, the portions are reasonable and the food tasty.

My wife and I had to run into the gateway mall to exchange some shorts at the UofO store. GODUCKS!!! On our way out we needed a bite to eat. The place my wife originally wanted to go closed down apparently… Some spot located next to Sbarros. Anyhow… As I stood there wondering, What the hell am I gonna order… I decided to get something from here since my wife was. So I will be completely fair on this review… but it’s primarily my experience here gets 1 star… my wife’s experience adds 1 more. My wife ordered a chicken type sandwich with melted cheese, came on a large bun with some fixings. It was different, but tasted good! Did taste fresh… I ordered a wet chicken burrito… BIGMISTAKE. We asked to have it to go being we were headed home. Once I got home I started to feast! The chips were so stale that I couldn’t even eat them… NOBIDDEAL i thought… Lets get to the good stuff… Yeahhh right… This was officially the worst chicken burrito I’ve ever had. The meat was VERYDRY and BLAND. Not ANY spices on the inside. A few beans were scattered through out it. I decided since I wasn’t gonna eat this pile of junk, So I performed an autopsy on this so called burrito. After splitting it open, I seen it had NOTHING as far as spices went. At the VERYVERY end of the burrito I found 3 leafs of cilantro and 5 tiny pieces of tomato and about 3 small little onions. Now, lets not forget it did have rice. WHITESTEAMEDRICE… not spanish… It was Uncle Bens I think. haha… Know what’s better? The rice was burnt ALLTHEWAYTHROUGHTHEBURRITO. Literally blackish brown… I’ve never been one to throw away half of my meal knowing how some people dont have food… but I had to toss this thing in the can. I guess I should’ve got what the wife did and perhaps a smoothie or something. I dont think I can trust these guys again for my food… I think I would stick to the juices and smoothies as other reviews point out those are solid items.

I eat here 3 times a week.(every time I have to go to work)… I LOVE their breakfast burrito, tamales and fresh blend juices. Located in the Gateway mall between the frozen ice cream and subway it’s the best place to go when your hungry and in the ghetto. Yum yum yum.

In between Carls Junior, Pizza and some other junkfood stuff in the mall this seemed like my best bet. I got an AMAZING tamale and a smoothie with parsley, pineapple juice some other cold busting fruits and veggies. Both cost me 9.50. It was fresh, it was healthier than getting some junkies stuff and I felt a lot better after eating it considering I felt the cold bug coming on. UGH… when dealing with 12 hs students and driving in a small van for a week you need all the anti germ killing remedies possible… not to mention keeping your sanity and well being.
