Their Billing department is irresponsible, negligent, and incompetent. I hate this company.

The staff was friendly and the place was nice enough, though it was irritating that they made me get up at 5:30 after not getting to sleep until after 11 because of the time it took to get the equipment set up and then to fall asleep because of the mask and all the wires and junk. The worst part, though, was getting the bill. After seeing on the 1st Class Sleep Diagnostics website that they«take all insurance!» including my network, which was specifically named, I happily made my appointment. The receptionist charged me my normal co-pay for an in-network doctor’s visit, and assumed all would be ok. I then came to two follow-on appointments before I ever got a bill, all without a single indication that this office was considered«out of network» and I would have to pay through the nose. I ended up getting bills from First Class totalling over $ 1,000 for an initial sleep study and CPAP titration. When I called and asked about the initial $ 600 bill, the person I spoke with said they were in network, it was only that high because of my deductible. So I paid it. Then more bills started rolling in, from all the follow-up appointments, and when I called and asked about those I just got a shrug. When I asked for a detailed statement of charges, they only sent repeated statements with the total I still owed. I’m paying it now to avoid getting a collection agency called, but I will NEVER do business with this office again, and I recommend nobody else does, either. Doctors’ offices know what the bills for their services are likely to be based on your insurance information, and they can and should warn you when they are going to be outrageous – if not before the first visit, before the follow-up visits.

This place was disgusting. There was a roach in my bed, and there was hair everywhere. It definitely looks pretty, but once you fold back those sheets, it’s pretty bad. The sleep technicians were loud all night and they kept on turning on the hallway light which made sleeping impossible. I would not recommend this sleep center. I had a better experience at a sleep center in Columbia, Maryland.
