Really overpriced. Food not that good. Ironworker apprentice school is right next to there so during our dinner break most of the class would go there. Only because it was close. Anyway I have receive many overpriced and average meals. I definitely wouldn’t recommend

This past weekend Antonio’s catered my annual holiday party at Maplecrest Ford Lincoln right down the road, like they have many years in the past. I am new to the company and recently had the pleasure of working with Anna at Antonio’s to plan for this 110 person event. Going in she knew exactly what items to order, what would work and what wouldn’t. She worked amazingly with our budget and remembered what we’ve done in the years past to help plan accordingly. I had been to Antonio’s only once before on my lunch break and got a delicious grilled chicken, roasted red pepper and fresh mozzarella sandwich with garlic mayo(I’ve already had my second in 2 weeks) so I can definitely say Antonio’s is a go to spot for Deli Sandwiches and Catering. They did an awesome job coming and preparing before the event making sure all the toppings and food items were in order and that we did not run out. Antonio’s even offers tons of services you’d never expect with their catering packages such as Valet Parking, DJ, Bartenders and Florists. They really are a great small local business that we will continue to work with in the future.

The title for this review should be: If you’re on your way to NYC, take a detour to Antonio’s! My wife and I were hungry so we decided to stop by antonio’s…for $ 10 we got a ginormous proschiutto w/fresh mozzarella and roasted pepper, arancini, and potato croquette. Let me tell you that the sandwich was no ordinary sum’wich! It’s loaded with thinly sliced proschiutto and fresh mozz! If you were in NYC this sandwich would probably cost you $ 15-$ 20… And the best thing that it was delicious!!! Will surely go back in near future!

I was there a few weeks ago, mainly because I love fresh mozzarella and that seemed to be their main business. I ordered a sandwich with the«fresh mozzarella», genoa salami and roasted peppers, and it may as well have been made with supermarket pre-packaged cheese. It didn’t taste the least bit like fresh mozzarella.(I have HAD fresh mozzarella from places where they actually make it in house, so I can easily tell the difference.) I also picked up a package of their«homemade» frozen ravioli, figuring it would be a real treat with my homemade sauce. Not only was it not a treat, it was a complete waste of money and a ruined dinner. The raviolis were cracked, and as soon as they hit the water, they all opened up creating a soupy mess. Only 3 or 4 out of the 12 were even remotely whole, and they were HORRIBLE. They were tasteless and disgusting. Bagged, mass-market frozen ravioli from the supermarket Is 100 times better. Needless to say, I won’t be going back there — EVER. There are so many better places around — even the mediocre places are SOMUCHBETTER.

We ordered hot dinners for my birthday celebration. This was a first time we ordered from hot deli in Antonio’s Mozzarella Factory, and kind of were taking a chance. All the reviews were either about the sandwiches or mozzarella, so did not know that their hot deli is also delicious. The menu is much more interesting than in other delis around our area — the Paglio Fienno and Farfalle Portabella were delicious, and traditional Chicken Marsala was very juicy and soft. The service was also very nice — on time and very polite staff. We had 12 people and ordered 4 dishes — it was more than enough; had leftovers for the few days after. Will definitely order again.

I recently bought their home made lasagna pasta sheets. I have to say it made the best lasagna I have ever eaten

Sandwich was OK. The bread was soft on the inside and crusty on the outside. Would have preferred the latter less hard. BF’s Italian sandwich was stacked with endless meats and a slice or two of cheese. My mozzarella sandwich had the same amount of cheese on it, even though that was the sole component of the sandwich: 2 slices of thinly sliced mozz. even though it’s the same price almost as the meat sandwiches.

This is our go to place for Italian sandwiches. Get the #1 which includes their homemade mozzarella, a generous portion of prosciutto and roasted red peppers. Perfect sandwich! Other items there are just as good!

The sandwiches we had here were meh. I had a living social deal and I used it butt I cannot say that I have any desire to return here. The location is really weird and I don’t think it is worth a special trip here.

Very short, quick review. Was flying back to California after visiting family in NJ for the holidays and took the cut off through Springfield off of I-78 to Route 22 as I had to get gas and saw the Antonio Mozzarella Factory. Doubled back and was glad I did. Instead of buying something inside Terminal C to eat on the five our torture session that now passes for United Airlines, I stopped in and ordered a prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich. First off, it was huge so I decided to eat half and save the rest for the plane ride home to California. Contrary to what others have written, the mozzarella was excellent, and simply impossible to find in all but a handful of places in Southern California. The prosciutto was sliced a bit thick for my taste but was delicious. Add a pasta salad, an orange cream soda, and two cookies and I was out the door for about $ 15, not at all unreasonable in my opinion, especially as I literally made this my lunch and dinner.(Consider what $ 7-$ 8 buys on the plane.)

Good little place — the portions are large. I had stuffed pork tenderloin with mashed sweet potatoes and the plate was loaded down… decent value and solid lunch choice. My co-workers had deli sandwhich’s and said they were equally as good.

I love this place. i like the prepared sandwiches, lunch specials, etc… but they are not much different than what you can find at any good deli. The place is excellent for picking up fresh mozzarella, good parmesan cheese, pastas, even great cold cuts! Brings a little of Italy to NJ.

I’m with Mark V on this one! Absolutely dreadful!!! From the bread to the hot dishes. And to answer your question Mark V, yes, they do pre-slice their mozzarella and kept it cut in the fridge, Ive seen it myself! Nothing is good there, even there Pellegrino tastes like crap. Literally 3 minutes away(walking) is Mia Famiglia in Millburn. That’s an Italian deli. Come in for a sandwich leave with lots more!

Finally. It took a while NJ but I found a good Italian place to get a sandwich. I went here and ordered two beautiful sandwiches and they were large portioned and of VERY high quality meats. One was the Italian sub and the other was a chicken cutlet broc rabe with sharp prov. Again this was done perfectly and was stuffed nicely! Would highly recommend this to anybody in the area and you get the good stuff.

Solid Italian deli and I love their mozzarella. It melts perfectly for homemade pizzas and the like. The smoked version is pretty decent if you need a smoke fix but seems just a bit lacking in depth. Italian deli ingredients are its strength, like prosciutto de parma, capicola, rapini, and so on. Yummy sandwiches. So I come in for a sandwich and I walk out with the hot pepper poppers too. They’re awesome. There’s a small dining area and the ambience is nice, rustic Italian. The market has a nice selection of goods. All the pasta varieties you need. I try not to visit too often since I always leave with more than I intended.

Go-to place for sandwiches. Order here a few times a week for lunch with co-workers. It’s great because it’s right by the office. They have a decent sized menu and their sandwiches never fail. Everyone agrees on how good this place is. I’m a fan of their garlic mayo and of course, any sandwich with fresh mozz on it. It could get busy though, so be sure to call ahead and place your order. Menu’s on their website.

Don’t usually mean to be a hard ass, but I may come off as one with this scathing review. Well, not really… In my initial review, I was very generous. To say that this spot struggles for consistency is kind, and a complete stretch. I have regretted both times I have gone there in the last two months. They must pre-cut their fresh Mozz. cause it tastes like they fridge they keep it in(ewww) and the bread is garbage. Who puts Prosc. di Parma and Fresh Mozz with Sauted Broccoli di Rabe, on a soft roll(ewww). F-ing bread was like wonder bread… straight up garbage.

Far from the best mozzarella around. I tried them once… mozz like a rock. I tried them twice… mozz like a sponge and bland. I tried them three times… back to a rock. Three strikes and you’re out in my book.

This is a pretty good safe bet to stop at when you want a decent Italian Sandwich. And I mean real italian stuff, like Dried Sausage, hot and hard sopresotta(not that soft American Ham like stuff some places try to give you), and good bread. Also, as you can tell by the name, they make their own Mozzarella there. It is really good, pick up some roasted peppers and fresh Italian bread and you can have a nice sandwich of just that. If you are not in the mood for millburn deli, but are in the mood for a good sandwich, stop in here and give it a try.
