I wasn’t able to come back to this place, or just get a manipedi in general because I was busy, but I was really shocked to see a couple of these negative views on these other sites. There aren’t any male workers anymore, and I actually spoke to the owner and asked her a bunch of questions to see what was going on… She apparently hasn’t been working in her store for a while. Her sister suddenly got cancer and she had to take care of her, leaving the salon in the hands of one of her Korean workers for a couple of years. The owner, whose name is Jackie, didn’t find out until recently that this woman was doing an absolute lousy job with the customers and was taking advantage of Jackie not being around in the store. Well, Jackie came back and fired her and now works with two loyal Spanish workers who have been working there for a long time; they’re very skilled and give amazing massages. This place charges $ 25 for a manipedi and $ 15 for a pedi during the weekdays. I get my nails done from Jackie – she’s extremely sweet and funny – and I know everyone’s different, but I get gels and ever since I have been seeing Jackie again, my gels last me no less than 3 weeks. I went to get a fill-in today because they just started to look grown in, but my original appointment was literally 3 and a half weeks ago. The place is quiet, relaxable, and the workers don’t rush you to squeeze the next appointment in. Jackie sets the times well apart so this doesn’t happen. If you call for an appointment, make sure you ask for Jackie!
