First off, a 1 star rating is way too much for this place! It baffles me anyone would give this place even a 2! I won’t give as long of a review as this place deserves — I don’t want to bore any of you. I will simply break down my visit in bullet points. — only place open at 7pm in the immediate area — I had Sue — new gel set = $ 100.00(she is smoking right?) — reusing paper towels from the garbage — using unsanitary nail utensils — reusing extension stickers(that don’t even stick anymore) — 2.5 hours later… — Charged me and didn’t even paint my nails — Had the audacity to ask for a tip ** Tip: Run away in the opposite direction as fast as you can! FYI: I have also reported their business to the BBB with an F rating. This is how horrible my experience was.

I went in for a manicure and a pedicure with my mom. I got there with my cuticles the same way as I left, my nails were still dirty and there were some bubbles in the nail polish that dried and are noticeable on my nails. If I wanted a rushed and poorly done manicure I would have done it myself and saved the 30 $. Completely over priced for the poor and extremely rushed service. I don’t understand why they were in such a hurry for us to get out of there considering my mother and I were the only customers in the entire salon.

Say no to the reflexology massage. I got a simple pedicure, they actually did a good job. I’m a nurse so I’m on my feet constantly which means I sometimes get pain at my toes when my nails get too long. The lady did a good job and didn’t hurt me. My beef is with the fact that they offered me the reflexology massage which is posted $ 15 for 10 minutes and I ended up being charged $ 30 because she said it was $ 15/per leg. I truly wouldn’t mind paying $ 30 if it was told to me clearly and more so if the massage was good, but honestly these people know nothing about reflexology. Here’s my rant: –Cut your nails they are all I felt digging into my foot as you«massage me». –Please watch what you’re doing that hurts! Reflexology is about hitting the pressure points on my foot not rolling your hands really hard on the top part of my foot where all you’re hitting is my tendons. She spent zero time on the bottom of my feet. — FOCUS! Stop trying to fill in the gaps with cheap tricks rolling a hot rock up and down my leg that does nothing for me. –Don’t lie about the price you just lost a customer. I’d forgive the sad massage, but you didn’t need to be sneaky.

I really wanted to like this place considering I live close. I have uv gel overlay and get color gel on top. This is the only place I’ve ever been to that the gel chips off!(Like the uv, not the color gel chipping.) I went back every week for 3 weeks until I gave up. 4 broken nails later, no thanks.

They did a Great job on my pedicure, and my boyfriend enjoyed his as well. They really took their time. My only complaint was price — the sign for prices is microscopic and basic pedicure isn’t even listed so we didn’t know how much it was until the end. $ 20 each for a BASIC pedicure. Manicure is $ 10 on the list. They were quite pushy to have us sit in the chair before looking at the prices. At one point the woman said«i’m going to use this cream» but she didn’t say if it was included or extra, so I said no thanks. I wish they were more upfront about pricing. But I did have a good experience — my toes look and feel great and they did give a great shoulder massage while my toe nails were drying.

Wow. That’s all I can really say about this place. Came on a road trip with my fiancé and he’s never had a mani or pedi!!! So first things first, I had to find somewhere. This place was amazing all the way around. Great first time experience. I always get mani and pedis and I’m even blown away by the service. Such a home feel! I wish we weren’t 5hrs away because I would absolutely make this my place of choice. We’ve decided to make it at least once a month or every other month. Love this place! They all are amazing!

I visited this salon today because of the great reviews on Unilocal but my experience was nothing short of horrible, I went for a gel manicure and pedicure, i picked the colors I wanted and they began manicure and pedicure at the same time which was fine until they had to put the polish on. they were trying to put the uv light boxes on my both feet and both hands and had me sit in very uncomfortable positions, they were very rough and the polish she put on one of my fingers was just regular glitter nail polish not gel that just kept falling off until I told her to just remove and put regular gel, they were VERY unclear about prices and the work they did was definitely not worth the $ 85!!! they charged me! Absolutely never go to this salon again

Did you say something? I’m sorry, I was busy staring at my nails. Apparently, I’m not the only one. Anywhere I go, I hear, «Fierce!» «Gorgeous!» «I didn’t know that was possible!» from strangers. They’re not talking about me. They’re admiring my nails. I first came to this place because it’s almost walkable from my house. They have parking in the rear accessible before Domino’s. I’ve also parked at the Gold Valley Supermarket/NYSC plaza lot across the street without incident. I’m a little Type A with a few things in my life, and one of them is manicures. I’ve experienced different qualities of UV-gel and shellac manicures so I know the real deal when I get it. During a manicure, Springfield Nails pushes cuticles back accompanied by very minimal skin trimming where needed. They get really close to the nail base with the polish. For UV-gel and Shellac manicures, they apply one base coat, then 3 – 4 coats of color, then 1 topcoat unless you’re getting a design or glittery topcoat(which may be 2 or more layers). In those cases, they apply another topcoat. Towards the end, they give a really nice hand/forearm massage with some lotion. Their shellac manicures last about 3 weeks on me and stay very new-looking for about 2 weeks. The manicurist named Sue really specializes in nail design. She has asked me to show her designs I might want on my phone but I’ve given her free reign. She has delivered on-point with a very polished look from floral to abstract, thus far. Due to her fine handiwork, I’m not afraid to ask her for more complicated or bolder designs in the future. Another manicurist offers a 10– or 15-minute massage during your manicure for $ 10 or $ 15 which includes your mid– to upper back, shoulders, and arms. It’s definitely worth it. I always get it. They often give a $ 3 «Nail bucks» coupon to give to a friend or for next time. I still have to try their pedicure service but I can safely assume they’re on par with their manicures. In any case, after you leave, be prepared for a shower of compliments… for your nails.

After constantly passing this place with a sign that had $ 40 gel manicure and pedicure, I decided to give it a try. I am always looking for a good deal without sacrificing good service. This place did not disappoint! The staff was very welcoming and friendly and the nail techs were very good. My regular pedicure included a salt scrub and hot stone massage! My gel manicure is perfect! On the way out they gave me nail dollars for my return visit! I will definitely be returning with prices and service like this!

I have had some bad experiences with salons lately, so I decided to give a new one a try. Glad I did! They were so nice and friendly, and my nails look great! It’s a pretty new salon so all of the chairs and equipment are new and comfortable, and don’t have that worn out look at all. I’m also super sensitive to «salon smell», and this place just smelled clean and fresh… none of that lingering acetone or chemical smell that you sometimes get smacked with when walking into a salon. Very reasonable prices for the pampering services they provide. The only reason I didn’t give this location the full five stars is because, depending on who you get, they do sometimes push the upgrades a little too much. To ask once is fine, to ask every other nail is a bit much. The massage she gave me at the end, though, made it worth it. I will definitely be returning to Springfield Nails. A great place, with great services for your dollars!

Visited this salon today. Needed a place to get my nails done as I had just moved back to the area. I picked this place simply because it looked nice and clean with newer looking pedicure chairs and equipment. I was pleasantly suprised when walking in. Yes, it was a Monday and ultimately a very quiet day for salons so I had the place to myself. I needed a full set of UV gel tips and was very nervous to trust someone new with this task but I went for it. Grace did not disappoint me at all. Her English was a bit difficult to understand but she definitely knew what I was saying. She convinced me to get pink and white gel tips and I am very glad I did. She also talked me into an eyebrow wax which exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be back for a pedicure and additional spa services.

I use to be an Arts Nails customer and since they closed i had to find another location to do my nails. Was very excited that they reopened a new location and I must say that if they continue with this customer service the pampering they do is phenomenal! I may just have to go every week instead of my on occasion! Pedicure with the Keratin was FANTASTIC and a MUSTHAVE! my feet were baby soft! YES baby soft and the massage that is given on your neck while drying your nails is just worth it all! Continue the wonderful job and you will do wonders!
