NYC transplants to Summit here… Best yet, ordering third time today.

The Tomato Garden a Chinese restaurant that is not that much of a dine in, but more of a take out. Several time i have gotten take out from their and i never truly had a bad experience with their food. The time it takes for them to cook your food is pretty fast and i personally thought my food was very hot every time i got it (good thing). The variety of food they have on their menu is good for a Chinese restaurant and they also have very fair prices. Overall
Tomato Garden is great place to get food for your family or yourself if your a fan of Chinese food.

Always fast, friendly, and reasonably priced. Very speedy delivery! For a Chinese spot the fried chicken here is really great. Tomato Garden is better than the rest of the local competitors by a long shot.

I had tried this place twice before with mediocre results, but out of hunger and convenience, I ordered dinner. I called beforehand and it was ready in less than 10 minutes.
I went with the sesame chicken extra crispy. They did pretty well with the crispness compared to other local places, but the sesame sauce is no good. It looks exactly like the general tso’s sauce, which my boyfriend had ordered previously. The flavor isn’t too good and there were no sesame seeds coating the chicken. The first time I ordered, I had the Chow Mein (apparently Chow Mein is not the same on the East and West coasts), so I got this soupy thing with veggies and chicken and fried noodles and was not happy. Now I know West Coast Chow Mein = East Coast Lo MeIn. I do like their egg rolls as they are lighter than most other places.
Prices are good, but does not make up for the quality.

Quality and fast Chinese delivery. Very good food and good prices. Deliver to any nearby towns (including mine). Definitely best Chinese delivery or take-​out in the area.

Good food, quick delivery we have been ordering from here for a little over 2 years now and haven’t had a bad meal yet. Some of our favorites are Scallion Pancakes, Sweet n Sour Chicken, General Tao’s Chicken and the Eggdrop Wonton Soup is great especially on a cold day. So if your in the area and want to relax home with something good you will be satisfied. The delivery time is also unbelievably FAST!

Yumm!!! Best Crab Ragoons ever. Sesame Chicken with White Rice is a must have.

Decent take-​away (they also deliver) and reasonably priced. General’s Chicken is good as are the noodle dishes. We usually get chicken with eggplant which is OK albeit a bit greasy. They are on a busy street though and street parking is limited. You either have to stop in front which is a bus stop and run in, or park in back around the corner and walk through a narrow alley to get back to Morris.

So I went to visit a friend and we decided to talk around Morris ave to find something to eat. On his recommendation we decided to go to Tomato Garden. The name through me for a loop, It sounds like it should be a pizzeria but it is Chinese food. We ordered take out and it only took a short while to get our food.
I ordered the General Tso’s Chicken and a side of the crab cheese. Or what I just assumed to be crab Rangoon. Over all the food was pretty good, I wasn’t blown away by it, but it tasted as one would expect Chinese food to taste like. For the crab cheese, it tasted a little off, maybe I was just expecting Rangoon and it wasn’t or maybe it tasted off. Either way the entire bag of them was finished so they weren’t bad.
I don’t know if this would be my first choice coming back to the same street for dinner but If it was the only place open I wouldn’t feel begrudgingly ordering from there.
