I got a hankering for it after writing the review from my previous experiences, so I popped by to scratch an itch. Drastic difference in quality than over the summer when I’d last been there. They’re shifting the menu, removing options. We went around 1115 for lunch. Three of us. The place wasn’t very busy. It took me half an hour to get my pizza, which was served to me cold. So cold, in fact, that there was a piece that had cheese whiskers… where you get the thin, hardened strings of cheese like after you refrigerate pizza. They’ve changed where they get their cookies from too, to a lower quality cookie. It will probably be quite a while before I can justify returning.

This is my favorite hometown pizza place! I love the philanthropic attitude of the owner. He gives back to community and supports other businesses coming to downtown. The garlic knots rule and we are trying the award winning goombah za today!

DELICIOUS. They do have the best NY style pizza around. The Hawaiian pizza is my favorite. They put a little dash of cinnamon on the top that makes it a little different than most Hawaiian pizzas you get. The prices are very reasonable, and the garlic knots are so good too. This local business also has a heart of gold and cares very deeply about the people in our community. I will always be a forever customer.

Excellent pizza, excellent service, and an excellent kind hearted owner. This business does a lot for the community which really says a lot around here.

My favorite pizza in Springfield! The crust and amount of toppings are phenomenal. The cheese quality leaves a little to be desired. You HAVE to order the garlic knots!

Much has been made of Bada Bing’s generosity at the Thanksgiving holiday. If that wasn’t reason enough to give them a fifth star, then the pepperoni rolls we had during our last visit pushes them over the edge. Mazel tov, guys! Keep up the great work!

I almost gave it 4 stars because the kids they have working here have given us really poor service and they aren’t friendly. But other than that, this place has it together. I gaurantee its the best pizza in Springfield. It beats most the places in Columbus. There is actual flavor! When you bite into it you know somebody, somewhere up the chain cares about it. Some level of thought of live went into this recipe and that is a rare thing. So from a very cynical reviewer: here’s my five stars.

Currently a very good pizza joint. When they are busy, it can be a very long wait. Garlic knots are a must-try. And they offer gluten free crust!

Stop the presses! I’ve just ended my quest for the quintessentially PERFECT piece of NY-style pizza and, to paraphrase Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, next time I go looking for«my heart’s desire,» I’ll start out in my own backyard! Truthfully, this restaurant deserves high praise for more than its spot-on NY/E. Coast-style pizza. It’s one of the handful of small, local upstarts that are making a VALIANT effort to breathe new life into nearly comatose downtown Springfield, with some surprisingly POSITIVE results. They’ve got some great sounding, creative, reasonably priced pizzas(our large veggie was just $ 16.99 and SLICED to perfection!!). My house salad was so-so, but there are a TON of interesting choices, from garlic knots to calzone to pizzas and subs, with an added bonus of some Mr. M&P approved craft beer options. Good sized crowd for a Thursday evening, with spot on service and not nearly as bad a wait time as you’d expect for«the good stuff!!» SUPPORT them, and once you get your fill of this great new spot for pizza, be sure to check out the GREAT new Fair Trade gift shop next door as well!!!

This is our 4th or so time at Bada Bing. My husband and I have lived in Springfield our entire lives(we’re in our mid-40’s) and we are moving to Georgia for a job relocation. One stop we wanted to make before we leave was Bada Bing. We went in this evening and ordered the large garlic knots and OMG they were so good. We then ordered the Dirty SOB pizza. It had a butter garlic sauce, several different cheeses, bacon, sausage and drizzled with Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce. The dough on the pizza was super fresh and light and the overall taste was a wonderful combination of flavors. My husband and I agreed it’s probably one of the best pizza’s we’ve ever had. My husband loved it so much so that he said we have to come back 1 more time before we go just to get that pizza and I had no objections what-so-ever. We love supporting local businesses and are so happy Bada Bing is doing so well. The service was also great and we got everything pretty much immediately. I bet we weren’t in the place 30 minutes before being done(granted we did go at 4:30). If you’ve been meaning to try Bada Bing I highly highly recommend you stop meaning and start doing because it definitely will not disappoint.

Was visiting Buck Creek State Park and went into town on a rainy day. Ordered a large pizza and beer with my dad and really loved the pizza. Great thin crust with quality toppings. Closer to NY style pizza than most and just scrumptious.

Conceptually it’s a great addition to Downtown Springfield. Having started in a neighborhood setting next to a local pharmacy that has been around for years, Bada Bing! Pizzeria splashed onto the scene. Out of the gates they discovered that they were a hot commodity. A few bumps in the road were easy to overcome with huge demand for more coming by way of patrons all over. They received great press. Obvious to all that 6 tables were not near enough so the phones rang constantly. Having only six tables to tend to in the dining room at a time, service was easy out front. Fast forward to the Downtown location. More tables, less oven capacity and the phones still rang constantly. They met severe criticism for mismanaging this groundbreaking opportunity and losing focus on the 6 P’s.(Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance). Nearly losing the restaurant just a few months into the new location, they cried for help. The community of Springfield rallied in ways not seen before. Obviously they were slam packed with business, putting yet more stress on a brittle operation. Facing even more criticism they muscled through and have made a few marketing moves to keep money flowing. I tell you all of that to tell you this. If they are busy, your quality of food will suffer. You may get lucky and everything turn out as it should. They lack consistency. Hit or miss and the misses are more frequent since the move. However, if you are ever in town and Jason and Maxine are in the kitchen, its not busy and you are hungry… BOY oh Boy, are you in for a treat. Neither Bada nor Bing would be such a thing if these two didn’t come together and put out a nice spread. They go to competitions and put there product up against the nations best. It just goes to show when they focus on the quality and are intentional about planning… They are among the best there is. I hope to one day see a a sign that says, Under New Management. Nothing personal, just business. It has the potential to be a 5 Star.

Pretty good pizza. My fiancé’s band is playing a show out here. We were trying to hunt for a decent place to eat. And found this place. Pleasantly surprised. Come check it out!

THIS is a gem! A diamond in the rough of Springfield, OH. Even some of the higher end restaurants downtown Springfield can’t contend with the quality ingredients, speed, and taste. The pizza oven and chefs are located near the back of the restaurant and their menu is extremely adaptable to what you like. The made my pizza by the time I had finished naming off the ingredients and were about to put it in the oven when I finished paying and filling my drink. My colleague and I ordered garlic knots(an individual order is plenty) and I had only finished one by the time they delivered my ‘za. I’ll admit, initially the name turned me off, but I took the Marriott attendant’s recommendation and was 100% satisfied. As a Chicagoland native and fan of all types of pizza, this is a culinary highlight for the town. Some rumored that this venue might close up shop, but I hope not! If I’m coming back to Springfield, this is going to be my lunch or dinner of choice!

Owner is a great person and made a really good pizza in his old location but since expanding to a new location, I’m sad to say the quality in just not up to par. Being a New Yorker who enjoys great pizza, I thought I had finally found a pizzaria that was close to the home taste(besides the sauce being a bit canny, I enjoyed eating there regularly. Since his move, i’ve been back 4 time with each being more of a let down from the last(wrong orders, long wait times, taste going down hill and today the straw that ends my patronage– serving burnt pizza!) I’m sorry but I honestly think they need to rethink the concept of pizza, bring it back to basics and just try to serve quality. Although brickovens are nice, to me they are more for show, go back to the traditional gas oven and bring the quality back!

This was the first time we visited the new location and we had a great meal and service. Pizza was delicious and we really enjoyed the pepperoni rolls and garlic knots. The staff was very polite and helpful which sets Bada Bing apart from most Springfield restaurants. Please join us by supporting this local gem.

This establishment is locally owned by a veteran who does a lot for the community. The food is awesome as well as the owners and staff. We need to support our local shops and eateries. Bada Bing is the best pizza and subs around
