Vicki was wonderful! She gave me information about the state of my hair, and she did an awesome good with my silk wrap. I couldn’t believe how awesome my hair looked when I felt the salon. I give her an A+++

After experiencing horrible breakage after years of relaxers, I had a sew-​in weave for 2 years to let my hair rest and the relaxer grow out. My hair had completely grown back and I decided I should not relax again. After reading blogs about natural hair care and styling, I was ready to embrace my texture! Fast forward to my first natural wash and style experience… four different textures and the dryness of a Brillo pad!!!
Having neither the money or patience to experiment with different products, I researched Keratin treatments. I came across Vicki on Unilocal and her excellent reviews. I called her at 8am on a Saturday desperate for a blowout and consult. She graciously booked me for the following morning. I got the most beautiful blowout and she answered all my questions about keratin treatments. I ultimately decided to get the treatment with her the following week. I absolutely love my hair. Thanks to her, my hair is so manageable and healthy. No regrets!
And, she’s close to my house, open on Sunday’s, and I can book online??? Sold!!!

Absolutely Amazing!!! After an extensive search for a stylist that not only knows how to style hair, but is experienced in Hair Care, I found Vicki! This was my first time and she did not disappoint. Her consultation (named The Chat) with me allowed me to tell her my hair needs. She listened to every concern, did not rush me and explained everything about the steps we would take.
Back story: I had long, full locs for about 7yrs. After combing them out, I had a good head of natural hair. I went to Miami earlier this year and went to a stylist who said she did natural hair and that stylist ended up frying my hair leading to breakage. That really put me in a funk.
Fast forward to today (my consult and hair appt with Vicki) and Vicki has gained a client!!!

My daughter and I get out hair done by Vicki, because she understands hair. She is really skilled at cutting, that finishing touch that makes it last. I absolutely trust her work and advice on my hair adventures. It has been a good hair year with Vicki.

I’ve been with Vicki over the last three years and she restored my hair to a healthy, shiny condition. She’s great with short cuts although I’m in the process of growing it out and trust her with long hair as well. She takes the time to make sure she knows and understands what I want, even though I’ve been going to her for years,! She always delivers a phenomenal style.

If you have long hair and you’re picky about who handles your hair please read. Vicki is WONDERFUL!!! I had to find a new stylist and was very nervous because I have long hair (a little pass shoulders) and I wanted someone who really knew what they were doing, and wasn’t scissors happy. I read great things about Vicki and decided to contact her. She’s so professional and easy to talk to. Hair is not a job, it’s her passion. I recently had to get a trim which I was scared, YES SCARED, to do especially with a new stylist, but Vicki is not scissors happy. My hair came out so beautiful and it’s now healthy. Before I walked out the door of the salon, I got a compliment, even my boyfriend falls in love with my hair every time Vicki does it. Her daughter is her assistant, she’s so nice and sweet and does a wonderful job too. The Salon is not like most salons where you’re sitting in a big room with many other customers getting their hair done, it’s a big salon with personal studios, which I really like. Vicki can do amazing things with all types of hair. If you’re in need of a stylist in a nice safe neighborhood and comfortable environment, my advice is to contact Vicki. Her studio is so relaxing, all you have to do is sit in the chair, get your hair done and «BE BEAUTIFUL»

I didn’t know I could enjoy a salon visit as much I did with Vicki. She whipped my hair back into shape and was incredibly pleasant and upbeat while doing so. I hope she never goes away because finding a «Plan B» will be incredibly hard.

Vicki does a fabulous job! She makes sure your hair stays healthy while looking good. Best thing is a trip to the hairdresser is not an all day affair. You are in and out which is not what you can say for a lot of stylists!

Vicki is the best stylist I have ever known. Why? You ask, because she is excellent at her craft, she educates her clients; she establishes relationships and builds trust. For me personally, I need to trust and have confidence in the person that does my hair. So, if you want great looking, stylish and healthy hair, Vicki is the one for you.

I have been looking for a great stylist for a while now in the Alexandria area. I am so glad I found Vicki! I loved the way she colored and cut my hair. I have had negative experiences with color with other stylists, but through our conversation, I could tell Vicki knew what she was doing. Not only did she do great job on my hair, she was very professional, personable and made me feel comfortable and welcomed as a new customer :-).
