Eleni’s was great! Went to brunch on a Sunday and we were sat immediately. The food came quick, was hot, delicious, and enough for army! Eleni was our server and was friendly and attentive.

I was starving, so I just picked Eleni’s from a Unilocal list near me and I was blown away. The service is over the top, the food is amazing, and if you can finish it all, I tip my hat to you. We were served by the owner, Eleni, and she didn’t disappoint. She knew every customer that came in by name and treated even newbies like us with loving care. The place is nestled in the back of the strip mall, so you may not see it from the street, but it is worth the trip! The portions are obscene and equally delicious! We will definitely be back for another brunch and dinner as well. This made my Sunday morning! Thanks Eleni!

It’s true! This place is the feta cheese to my gyro omelette and the sweet strawberries to my waffle. Zayummmmm! Loved our breaky food. Ordered a whole bunch for brunch cuz we were a hungry bunch. A bunch of waffles with strawberries, bananas and choco chips. Village omelette and gyro omelettes laden with feta cheese. Everything was delicious and fresh. Only one inquiry, why were the strawberries so darn sweet and perfect even though it’s not strawberry season? That’s a bit scary hehe next time I come I’m trying some of that Greek fare. Mmmmmmm and those scary sweet hybrid strawberries too

Had a great late lunch at Eleni’s. I had pastitsio with seasoned green beans and lentil soup. My husband had the Gyro platter with lamb souvlaki, potatoes and a Greek salad. The food was all well-seasoned and delicious. The lamb souvlaki was particularly tender and tasty — my husband wants to come back and get it again! Very generous portions(we both took some home –I took half!), prompt, friendly service, and very reasonable prices.

Always great to find a local non-chain restaurant with good food and service. I’ve been a few times now for breakfast and dinner and have enjoyed each experience. Good size menu, reasonably priced and tasty. Only down side is the detergent/fabric softener they use on the cloth napkins is very strong and can be overpowering.

We love gyros! My family of four dined during lunch for $ 40 including the tip. I was expecting mediocre Gyros but it was by far the best I’ve eaten since I was a child. We are a military family and we’ve traveled through and to so many places but out of all the Greek Restaurant’s we went to in search of a good gyro, this place nailed it! The flavor and thickness of the taziki sauce is on point meaning its not watery, it’s thick like the Greek yogurt that’s supposed to go in it! The flavor of the lamb was deliciously indescribable. I can’t speak for everything Greek because I’m not familiar with Greek food in its entirety but this will be our favorite family place to go to for all our gyro cravings!!!

My wife and I had dinner on Christmas Eve. The menu was extensive and had many dishes we had not previously experienced. The restaurant was about half full with a large party in one area. Very clean and the attention to detail of paint and décor was right on. The waitress were fun and very knowledgeable. They helped with the explanation of every dish we inquired about and suggested the Blue Moon on tap for a beverage. Great food, and as every one on here talks about we took home half for another day. They came with Christmas cookies as a free gift and we again were impressed. This restaurant is priced in the medium range, however, their value is way above average. We do not have a knowledge of Greek food, but we do know good food and great service. These folks have both.

Great Restaurant! Awesome food. Huge portions. Friendly staff. Greek beer. This is the Best Greek place in Northern Virginia. I eat here at least once a week and I am never disappointed. I love everything on the menu. Lamb kapama, rack of lamb, beeftaki, gyro, and Greek burger are a few of my favorites. I love the grilled octopus for an appetizer. Eat here. You won’t be disappointed. Also great for parties.

I went there this past weekend and had the Eleni’s Special. It was humongous and could’ve fed three people. The eggs were just right so when you cut in to them, the yolk just spilled out. This dish has very strong flavors, but is really good especially if you’re a fan of feta cheese =) Our server was a delight as well and made the experience all the better. Definitely going back!

I’m not too familiar with Greek food and was anxious to try this restaurant based on the other reviews. My experience was good but not great. I don’t know how authentic the food is but I probably ate the least authentic Greek dish on the menu — Greek style burger with fries. I was trying to eat light… And failed. Cute restaurant tucked in the back of a rather eclectic shopping mall. Bunch of guys standing in front smoking — haven’t seen that In many years. Nice hostess greeted with a smile and a table. Nice waitress presented a rather extensive menu. Maybe to extensive, not sure. Food and bev out quick. The Greek burger is a behemoth to behold. About the size of a scale model of Mount Olympus and bigger than any human mouth on the face of the earth. Pictures are in other reviews so I won’t show mine. Huge pile of skin-on fries that were perfectly cooked and seasoned with S&P. If only the burger was too. Suggested and requested cooked to medium it was a tad more than that. Not totally unacceptable, but it was really tough. At one point I think the piece of meat was actually growing in my mouth as i chewed. Tasty, though, due to the tzaziki and the thick slab of feta. Eating it required two hands and all facial orafices. A total sensory experience. Big enough that finishing it was impossible. I probably should have tried something more traditional and will do just that on my next visit. Bunch of guys standing in front smoking; haven’t seen that in 47 minutes.

One of the few Greek restaurants I’ve been to where the menu captures the breadth of Greek cuisine. They have a sampler dish called Elenis Tour that gives you a little of 4 entrees and 2 sides. It’s a generously sized platter. Try the Greek burger, which is made with lamb and comes with a nice slab of feta on top. We all enjoyed our food, except one item. When I saw grilled octopus on the menu, I was thrilled, as I’d had it on a trip to Greece and was looking forward to trying it again. But I was disappointed. The octopus was cut into small pieces, not kept in tentacles as I’d had in Greece. More importantly, it showed no signs of truly having been grilled. No grill marks, no charring, no smokey flavor. It was the one disappointment in our meal. They have a children’s menu, but you won’t find it in their web site.

Big fan of this relatively new Greek diner. It’s one of those old school places that feels like a diner with the booths and real Greek waiters and owner. They do have a full bar though and huge menu. It’s one of those old school laminated menus with pictures too. The breakfast menu looked good, as did the gyros, sandwiches, and Italian food on the menu. But I stuck with the Greek food for the most part. Prices weren’t bad but it could get a little pricey if you have an app, drink, and an $ 17-$ 18 higher end entrée. All of the dinner meals were huge I noticed. So keep that in mind, like two full meals easily huge. We actually stuck to making a meal it of appetizers because we love the Greek ones. Always have to have flaming cheese saganaki. It was perfect cooked and had the requisite lemon and even some pita bread to go. The grilled octopus was very flavorful with a nice sauce and plenty of it. The calamari had large pieces fried perfectly without too much batter and a good marinara sauce. Lastly, the spanakopita was three very large pieces that were cooked well over a small Greek salad. I thought they used a bit too much dill and not enough cheese but was well done overall.

Great food come hungry, service is great, treat you like family. the food is true Greek food and cooked in the true Greek tradition. I a review I read they talked about the green beans, they do not know that is the way they are cooked. Not out of a can or microwaved everything is fresh if you love true Greek food this is the place

Went here for lunch and our table ordered: Steak and cheese Gyro Steak and eggs Eleni’s special My favorite was the steak and cheese! The fries weren’t that great in my opinion but they’ll do. The Eleni’s special(see pic) is a large enough portion to share. The gyro was really good too, good amount of meat. Steak was cooked to perfection. All in all it was a good meal. We’ll be back again.

I stumbled upon Eleni’s last night cutting through the parking lot enroute to the car wash, and thought I’d give the takeout menu a try since I was a mess from yard work. I was in the mood for a greek Salad with gyro meat, but the lofty $ 16 price for that put me off. Instead, I ordered the gyro Pita sandwhich by phone, which came with handcut fries for $ 9.49 with tax. That was delicious! Lots of Feta and a nice taziki sauce, all wrapped in foil with plenty of meat and tasty tomatoes, crisp romaine, and not too heavy on the onions. A great value, it was so big it could have been split with another person. By the time I got home the very generous portion of handcut fries was mooshy, but that could be the effect of the takeout box. The takeout was ready in ten minutes and the girl at the counter was very pleasant. The restaurant space was large, modern and smelled clean, which I’d expect from a new restaurant. I’ll be back to try other things for the service experience and to see if the bit higher than average prices are justified. You can’t go wrong with the gyro sandwhich, and this bodes well for my expectations.

Read the reviews and decided to give Eleni’s a try. Ample parking in a strip mall off Backlick Rd. The inside is pretty nice size. Not too crowded but it is Saturday afternoon. Did notice a steady stream of customers, though and for good reason. Eleni’s has a big menu which can go either way: here it’s a good thing. I opted with the lamb burger with fries. It came medium as ordered with a large order of crispy hot fries. The bun was light and slightly toasted. The burger came with lettuce, tomato, red onion, and feta cheese. A large chunk of feta, which I liked. The tsaziki(sp) sauce was delicious. This burger was so good and rich I couldn’t finish it! That’s NEVER happened to me. I really did enjoy it and I will be back. The service here is good. You are greeted courteously and service is prompt.

Definitely an authentic vibe. Lots of traditional dishes, not just a gyro sandwich place(thought that’s what I got as a baseline dish). Food isn’t life changing or the best I’ve ever had but it’s good and closer than Katerina’s in Manassas. Willing to go back again to try something different.

I’ve been to Eleni’s a couple of times now and can confidently say I am a fan of their stick to your ribs comforting Greek and diner delights. They seem to have a hardcore following already too; which is pretty neat since I remember not that long ago when it the space was housed a crappy want to be Irish pub, so it’s definitely nice to see something worthwhile take it’s place. You will be greeted with a warm welcome and seated fairly quickly even during their busy Sunday morning rush. They offer a huge breakfast menu, lots of Greek staples and some more traditional diner fares(ex: Reuben, BLT, burgers, salads, etc) and their food is cooked to order deliciousness. +good coffee +you can order breakfast all day +huge space

Me and my co-workers discovered this place on Unilocal and OMG what a find! A little hidden treasure. The portions are huge so if you don’t finish it you have a nice dinner. It is one of the best Greek Restaurants I have been to in quite some time, everything was fresh very flavorful and the staff including the owners were absolutely Superior. We once ate at a similar restaurant to this place for lunch, but no more this is our new favorite ! We will be back again and again! Signed, «The Wallet Guy».

Breakfast — 5 Stars, Customer Service — 5 Stars, Taste of food — 5 Stars. I’ve always wanted to try this place and i am glad i did! Walking into this place you are greeted with a big smile and walked to your table. Damaris was our waitress and she was super friendly and a sweetheart. As i am a vegetarian, she took her time and provided me with a list of options for breakfast and what she can modify. She mentioned how huge the pancakes were and she wasn’t kidding! We decided to go with the Caramalized Bananas Pancakes, Fried potatoes and coffee. While the order was being made, she talked to us and had a nice friendly chat. The place is pretty big, greek music playing in the background at just the right volume. It was very well decorated and the ambience made you feel relaxed to enjoy your food. The pancakes were absolutely delicious, made to perfection as it would just melt in your mouth. The coffee was very good as well. Next time i would like to come here for lunch to try their Greek Specialties. The pancakes were shockingly huge, between the two of us, we barely finished 1 order of 3 pancakes and packed the rest to go. I will definitely be returning to this place to try their Greek Specialties and i highly recommend for you to try this place as well!
