BGR The Burger Joint

I have been back several times. Love the chicken burger. My son always gets the standard burger. They listen and cook it correctly. Rotating beers on tap. Excellent fries, hot not greasy.

I haven’t been here since 2011. Decided to visit last night and ordered a simple Bacon Cheeseburger, well done. That was it. I brought it home and the burger was burnt and did not include any bacon. Checked my receipt and it showed «Bacon Cheeseburger».
Never will I visit this place again, absolutely disappointed. :(

My first visit to BgR and it was great. I ordered a cheeseburger cooked medium with the «works» and added grilled jalapeños .($ 13.00). Yummmm the burger was cooked perfectly the fries were hot and crispy. When I went to pick up the burger he asked if I wanted any sauce so I picked their signature sauce it was like a mixture of thousand island with a little old bay and horseradish my fave. I also requested honey mustard which was just ok. The employees were extremely nice and helpful~~ I will definitely make a trip

WOW! Love this place. I live in Leesburg, but was in Springfield for business and discovered this little gem. I will be coming back for sure. The burgers are amazing, the staff loves and appreciates your business and the prices are competitive. Please check this place out!!!

Just not worth the money… Now they’ve cut the lunch special and made it any burger plus $ 3.50 for added fries and a drink. So that’s $ 11.00 for a burger lunch, and I don’t care how special you think your burger is, it just ain’t worth it. Bob and Edith’s Diner has a double cheeseburger with bacon AND egg for $ 6.69 so why bother with this? I’m just trying to figure out this whole burger thing, so many places try to hype their burgers and some hit the mark like Ray’s or Melt in Leesburg, but this place doesn’t cut it…

Always a darn good burger!!!

Saw that this place finally opened at Springfield Mall. I had the triple d which is a burger with bacon, avacado, fried egg and a grilled jalapeño. The burger was good. I asked for medium well. Burger was a little red then it should have been but still tasty. The regular fries were delicious, crispy on the outside hot and soft on the inside. My only blah was the price. A little pricy for a food court meal. 9.99 for the burger and add fries and a drink for 3.49 more. Yikes! Service was friendly but it did take a while for the food to be ready. I will go back for those fries!

Consistently good. Chicken sandwich is amazing! Great burgers. Love the sweet potato fries! Very nice staff.

First time in this burger place me and my husband we crave for a new taste of burger and we decided to try this place as we enter to the burger joint place the place was packed with people and we got more interested as we go to the counter our server was very friendly and smiling and everyone was very friendly and everybody is knowledgeable about their menus and their products the ahi tuna was perfect and my Wellington burger was so juicy and awesome the manager Wayne was very friendly and helpful they just earn two loyal customers.

I’m pleased to say yes they do have turkey burgers. Any burger can be substituted for a turkey patty which is great.
I usually get the legend burger with cheese.
Be careful with the delivery service as its a third party service. We were being extremely lazy and didn’t want to move. For two burgers, 2 orders of fries and a milk share the bill totaled $ 47. Bout of that $ 20 was for the delivery.
The burgers are good and I like the fact there are extra add ons like avocados, fried eggs and others. Give them a try!

Stopped in did not want to make dinner near my home. The staff was nice ordered 2 burgers with fires and onion rings for my son and husband. Asked them if they could hold it for me had to get my son from football and I would come back and grab it. They did just that the food was still hot when I got back and the boys loved it. We will definitely go back they have the best burgers in town.

Got some kinda behomoth burger topped with a fried egg and three large pieces of bacon. Opted for garlic fries and a soda and was a little stickershocked by the $ 17 price tag. But after my meal, I wasn’t really complaining. The meal was close to being worth it.
— The portions were far more than generous, and the food was sooooo good that I ate it all. I’m pretty sure I won’t be eating for a while.
— Even though the bun felt a little cold, it was delicious. Light enough not to interfere with the taste of the burger, and firm enough not to fall apart with the hamburger juice and runny egg yolk… Awesomesauce…
— They made the burger to order. I asked and got a perfect medium rare. It’s so nice when burger joints offer that option. (I’m lookin’ at you, Five Guys!)
Word of warning: The jalapeños aren’t exactly fresh. They seem like they’re jarred and kept marinated… which makes every bite into them a little soggy, yet SEARING hot.
All in all, it was a great meal but rather overpriced. A few bucks off the price tag would’ve earned the joint a full 5 stars.

Great visit and worth the trip. A ton of choices for your burger and more than enough garlic fries. Whoo. I’ll be back for sure. Oh and the staff, super friendly and nailed my order. Thanks!

Picked up carry out. They had the food ready on time. On my way out, I realized they left the fries out of my order, so I had to head back to the counter. Brought the food home, found that all of the burgers we ordered were burnt and they left all the toppings off for one order completely. To top it off, for two bites from my burger I bit into char that felt hard enough to chip a tooth.
We have tried this place twice and both times have been very disappointed.

Bumping down a star for continued issues with orders. The last two times we’ve been here, the burgers have come out missing toppings and/​or with toppings added that we didn’t order.
I still like the burger here, but I want to eat what I ordered. Hopefully this gets fixed soon!

Review Edit: I admit to having more than one bad experience here. But I have been forced to return based on a lack of other options. My original review was a 1 star. When they get your order right, I give them 4 stars. So I am going to hover at the 3 star mark and hope for the best. The turkey burgers are really good. I think that’s why it’s so hard for me to give up on this place.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice…
If you want to get what you order, don’t bother coming here. I have gone to BGR twice in the past two months, and BOTH times, they screwed up my takeout order. All I ask for is Lettuce, Tomato, Bacon, and Cheese, and EVERY TIME, I am sent home with a plain burger on a plain bun. It’s astounding.
The first time they messed up, I called, and the manager was very nice and said he would comp my next burger. So, I waited a month, and returned. I used my «oops» coupon, only to end up with yet another oops. It is not worth the hassle and disappointment to get an okay burger.

The lamb burger is disappointing. Taziki sauce is weak sauce. Lobster roll– get ready cause it’s ice cold and served in a hot dog bun. There is nothing amazing about this Sandwich and it sure isn’t worth $ 15.
The onion rings are way too greasy for my liking. And my bill was $ 46 dollars for 4 burgers… That’s a little much for what I got.
Other than the weak food, The staff is great, Friendly, easy going and quick. The décor is cool and the place is always clean.
But I won’t come here again.

This is a go to burger place. The food is always just as good as the first time I had it, therefore it’s consistent with taste appearance and value. It is a little expensive, but is easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had.
Their beer battered onion rings (greasy, but look what it is) and fries are awesome. I always add on garlic, parmesan and rosemary to the fries (extra charge). Sometimes all three. The bgr mojo sauce is great if you like a slight tangy mayo/​mustard mixture.
How I like my burger if you need tips :
Medium well cooked
Bacon (extra charge)
lettuce tomato
Pepper jack cheese (extra charge .60)
Mojo sauce
Extra mojo on the side for my fries!

This place is a nice to go to for some quick burgers. The burgers are good, but pretty pricy (I think). I left feeling still hungry and I added a lot to my burger and ordered a side of sweet potato fries. Maybe I was just super hungry or something cause the burger looked huge? Or maybe the burger was smaller than it looked?
I got the burger with provolone cheese, the works (tomato, mojo sauce– a mayonnaise based sauce, lettuce, and pickles). I also added a fried egg and a grilled pineapple to my order, which made it taste pretty good. However, I think 1 $ for each additional thing is pretty pricy. You get charged to add cheese to your burger too! I didn’t know this.
There are a lot of extra toppings that you can add onto your burger and there are a lot of different burger choices for you to try from.
The service was awesome and the people working there were friendly and kind.

I love this place mojo sauce double part with the works. My wife got this for me asking with other things and it just hit the spot. Better then any other burger spot.
