Second time here and it’s just as wonderful! The prime brisket sandwich with the horseradish sauce is awesome. The whole pig is ridiculous and is highly recommended. Come early as it gets crowded quick and the line backs up. Only wish they had a smoother line/ordering system.

So good! The staff was really friendly and efficient. The Carolina sandwich is incredible… the messiest sandwich I’ve ever eaten, but worth the mess. And the fries are slightly crispy and so delicious, salted perfectly! I’m glad I stopped by on a whim.

Me and my family love to go here when we’re craving BBQ. Generous portions, great BBQ sauce, and awesome staff. Highly recommend it!

Fantastic BBQ! I stopped in here while in Springfield for business. I had Pulled Pork, Brisket, and Ribs, and all were some of the best I have ever had. The guys behind the counter were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend stopping at this place if you are in the mood for good BBQ!

Definately better than 3 stars. Great smoked flavor at a reasonable price. Fries were full of flavor, barbecue was lean, plentiful and full of flavor, fried okra was crispy and tasty. This is definitely a good stop to get barbecue.

Best BBQ in SPFLD. The ribs are great. Fast service too. Cole slaw had a little too much dressing.

I love Buckingham’s now as much as ever, and I’ve been eating there since the 90s. I mean, y’all, I love in Texas. I love BBQ and can get some of the best stuff around, but this place is my absolute first stop whenever I’m visiting family in Springfield. I always get the pulled pork sandwich and, two decades in, it hasn’t failed me yet. Yum!

This was sad. The tea was very strong. The sweet and lo packages were old. Now to the food. I had burnt ends and pulled pork. Burtnt ends were cold and chewy. Cheesy corn was cold and looked more like creamed corn. Its was sad. I won’t go back. Fries were cold!!! How do you have cold fries!!!

I bought a half pound of burnt ends. They were over half fat! I guess I should have asked for a quarter pound and told them to hold the fat. First visit and last.

I ordered the BBQ nachos because I have always been a fan of them at the north Glenstone location. The nachos I received at the Campbell location were barely palatable. The pulled pork was very dry. The beans tasted like they came straight from the can, and the jalapeño peppers tasted very old. The staff barley acknowledged me and it seemed like i was an imposition. I did order around 8 at night so they may have been tired. I would recommend going to another location. Campbell location is horrible. I have been there twice now. The first time was not any better. I enjoy the other locations.

Not at all impressed. Ordered the 4 meat platter for just under $ 20. The turkey and ham looked and tasted like smoked deli meat instead of an actual smoked turkey or ham. Pulled pork was so-so, brisket was passable. All were served barely above room temp. For sides I ordered mac and cheese and bbq beans. Both were pretty good. Portions were okay, I guess, not great but okay. I travel for work and have had Que in NC, SC, KC, VA and a bunch of other places(KC being By Far the best) and this doesn’t even come close. Very disappointing.

Best barbecue in town. The«Carolina Style» is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life

I’ve always wanted to try this place out so my parents and I did yesterday. Sorry to say I was more than disappointed. I ordered the brisket sandwich w potato salad and corn, my brisket was cold(like it was took out of a refrigerator), potato salad was awful, corn tasted like it was dumped out of a can. My dad had the pulled pork sandwich which he also said was cold. I tried putting on the bbq sauce which was at the table to give the meat some flavor but yet, the sauce was awful and flavorless as well. Had high expectations(seeing as how they have a smoker out front) for some good olé bbq but, instead got cold dry leftovers apparently. Will NOT be returning ever again.

Best BBQ in Springfield hands down! Tried so many others but this is the place I keep coming back to. I always get the pulled pork. I’m sure everything else is great but I just can’t bring myself to order anything else. I would give 5 stars, but I have had a few issues with staff. just a young girl who isn’t very pleasant and doesn’t have the greatest customer service or communication skills. This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but give it a try!

Hey, this is the best BBQ I’ve had this side of Rudy’s! Very impressed! I’m a big brisket lover and this was cooked perfectly(tender, lean, good), and the sauces are very, very good! Right across from Bass Pro!

This location is right across Campbell from Bass Pro. It’s not much to look at, but there’s some good eating here. They had a Tuesday sandwich special — a regular sized sandwich and two sides for $ 6.99. We had that with pulled pork, pit beans and corn, and I had just their regular sized sandwich with ham. The pulled pork was just what you’d expect — moist and flavorful. The ham was excellent — moist, sweet, better than I’ve had at many an Easter dinner! The beans were a little on the sweet side(which isn’t a crime in my book!) but good. In retrospect, I would have gone for the green beans rather than the corn, which wasn’t anything special. Their regular sauce is a sweeter, more molasses-based sauce. The«hot» sauce is not terribly hot, but is more tomato-ey and has visible pepper flakes in it. Both complimented the meat well. We came in late, about 7:00. If you’re in a big hurry or have a large crowd, this might not be your first choice — there’s not that much seating indoors, and I think that they were running a little lean on help tonight. But it was definitely worth the wait for some fine meat. I’d go back there in a minute.
