I came here with some friends and it was alright. I got the shrimp and there was really nothing special about it. The highlight was the bread which is actually pretty good. Like many steakhouses, they have free peanuts, which was nice. The atmosphere is good but it’s nothing special. The food came out in a decent time and the waiter dropped one of my shrimp and actually brought me 5 more to replace it! Which was nice. The prices are fair but not great. Overall, Logan’s is average and there was nothing that really stuck out to me as being above average(except the nice waiter). For the price and food quality, I would rather eat elsewhere.

Staying with my dad while he’s in the hospital. Logan’s seemed like a good option away from the hospital cafeteria. Wrong!!! Went in and sat at the bar. Ordered a 16oz ribeye MR +. After 40 minutes I got i, cut it and it was cold rare. White congealed fat and all. Sent it back. 25 minutes later they bring back the same steak. Really? You know where this is going.? Manager(guy) proudly presents the steak. I cut it. Past medium. He says looks great huh. Ahhh no. Too done. Try again. Another 25 minutes pass until another one is brought out. Meanwhile the shift manager lady comes and asks me what was wrong with my steak. Again really? I explained to her the difference between MW and MR. Finally get my steak and you guessed it. Cremated. MW again. If you like sending your ribeye back 3 times and it’s still not right AND it takes over an hour and a half to get it… eat here!!! So I gave up and left hungry. Had to get back to my dad. Oh! AND they had the nerve to charge me for the steak. Manager may want to consider the housekeeping industry or used tire business as an alternative to what he’s doing now.

Logan’s Roadhouse used to be one of my favorite restaurants, however, over the past 6 months their quality of food and service has declined tremendously. I frequently order lunches to go for business meetings. About a month ago I ordered food for a business meeting. One of the meals contained a piece of metal shaving approximately 1.5 inches long. When I called and spoke to the manager he insinuated I was lying about that and said he didn’t know how that could possibly happen. Shortly after that my friend and I went to Logan’s and the food was just average. Last weekend 3 of us went to, Logan’s for dinner; the order consisted of 2 steaks and baked potatoes and pork chops and sweet potato. The steaks were tough and not very flavorful; the pork chops had so much seasoning and salt they weren’t edible and the sweet potato was undercooked. We spoke to the manager, told him we’d keep the steaks, but the pork chop meal wasn’t edible. The person with the pork chop meal said she didn’t want more pork chops but would like the baked potato replaced… the manager brought another baked potato. When we got the bill, we were shocked to see a charge for the baked potato on the tab! Really? What type of customer service is that? With the steady decline of the food and service, I’m removing Logan’s from my list of restaurants to frequent.

Wonderful host. Love the food! Great servers! The only downer was the stale peanuts. Had a good time though.

I used to love this place when it first opened. Now, it is the nastiest place I think I have ever seen. DIRTY, DIRTY, DIRTY. If the tables are covered in black filth, and the floors are covered in shells and grease. I wouldn’t trust the food at all. We will never return. Seriously. Don’t.

Worst Ribeye ever!!! Everything about this steak was bad firs of all it no seasoning at all it was ordered med rare which it came but was cooked on a grill that was way to cold! It didn’t sear at all and since it was on the grill longer than the few minutes it should have been and probably flipped multiple times it was tough, tasteless and all around terrible for a Ribeye!!! Also our whole party agreed whatever spice(that’s right there not scared to use spice on gravy!!) They put in the brown gravy makes it Nasty, get the white or better yet go to a steak house that takes pride in a «Good Steak»!

Ok so first off my mom and I are on our way to branson. And we’ve gone to the one in Kentucky before so we said hey, let’s go there ! Let me tell you this place is fantastic! Our waitress, Lacy, was so upbeat and perky. She was very attentive and very helpful in our decisions. I would request her everytime. Now on to the food. Ah-mazing! My mom got the anything and everything salad. It’s huge and delicious and very filling. I had a half rack of ribs with macaroni and cheese and baked sweet potato. The ribs are so tender and sweet and falls right off the bone. And for dessert we had two brownie mini buckets. The chocolate is so moist and Rich and you get to keep the little buckets it comes in . I really hope that a Logan’s Roadhouse comes to st. Louis!

For such an expensive steak place you would think the quality would be better. But, all of our steaks, no matter what doneness level, was tough and stringy. Not a good quality steak place.

This was my favorite steak in Springfield, but the last two times we went there we were disappointed. It seems like the quality is starting to slip. To be fair, both occasions were very busy.

We love the grilled Salmon at Logan’s. Apparently they grill it right next to the steaks, because it has an outstanding flavor. Best grilled Salmon I have had in Springfield. Of course the steaks are good, too!

I love the bar area! I feel that the tv’s and peanuts everywhere makes it feel more chilled. The bartenders and staff made me feel welcomed and appreciated. Love the happy hour specials and on top of that they have a pitcher of domestic beer for under $ 7.00. WOW!!! GOLOGANS!!!

I gave Logan’s another shot and once again I was very disappointed with my entrée at this location. I got a chopped steak and it tasted like they rolled the meat in salt and then sprinkled salt over the top of it. I have ordered chopped steak before and it was delicious, so I’m not sure what they are trying to cover up. Aside from that, everything was good. The mozzarella sticks appetizer was surprisingly tasty and abundant. I should have made that my meal. Great service on our last visit, too.

Staff was friendly and efficient. Started with the buy one, get one free house margarita(Happy Hour till 6 and after 9). Mozzarella sticks appetizer was fine. My grilled salmon entrée was quite good, with broccoli and baked tater. «Loaded» cost $ 1.00 extra for a miniscule crumble of bacon and around four slivers of shredded cheese(RIPOFF). My buddy had a small sirloin, but he only ate about half of it. It was tough and chewy. It was OK, but I’ve certainly had better.

wow incredible steak, filet, baked sweet potatoes. could cut the filet with my fork! The only thing that stop them from getting 5 stars was my salad was soaked in dressing, more than ½ uneatable.

This«used» to be my favorite place, but no more as the«prime» steak had gristle. The only reason I’m giving two stars is because of the appetizers and service. I will not be going back.

Boy, I was excited. I had one of those rolls, and mmmm. I shared an order of lightly battered fried mushrooms with my husband as an appetizer, mmmm. I ordered a small steak and a half rack of ribs, and I was horribly disappointed. The ribs were not good at all, and the steak was very difficult to chew and not especially tasty. The criteria I apply against a restaurant is that the food has to be better than I can do at home with my own tools. Rolls, check. Mushrooms, check. Everything else, goodness no. We’ll try it again — some friends have rave reviews. I just won’t order a steak or ribs. Service was good.

Aside from the buckets of peanuts provided to each table(I think it is more than tacky that you are supposed to eat them and throw the shells on the floor– and who exactly is supposed to clean them up?), I liked this place! My parents took me out to lunch here. My dad was talking about some«deal» and a DEAL it was. HOLYCRAP! Two lunches for 13.99. Why don’t they have this kind of stuff at home? You had your choice of steak, salmon, and a bunch of other things, plus two sides. I had a 6 oz. sirlon. It was perfect. It was cooked medium rare– and just right. My mom had the salmon and loved it, adventurous dad had the meatloaf. All of us had salads, they were a bit disappointing– but served the purpose, and veggies for sides. Really– this place is offering something! In this economy they have got it down right! They were VERY busy for lunch on a Monday and if I had to guess, I would imagine that the special plays into it. Considering that this town could wear the chain resturant crown, this place is seeming to do well. I would welcome it in Chicago!
