If you’ve been looking for good bubble tea like I have, caffe bene is the place to go. They have milk tea, Thai tea, and taro, which are the best flavors in my opinion. I have also had their ham and egg sandwich-very good as well. The portion is much larger than you’d expect, and packed with a lot of good flavors for such a basic sandwich. I highly recommend this place!

I have lived in Korea for the past three years were coffee shops are abundant, so when I got back I was really surprised to find that this chain had reached the US and immoderately wanted to check it out. The interior is just as one would find back in Seoul, cozy and inviting. The music was not too loud so having a conversation with someone is easy, I would say this is a good date spot. Their waffles and honey bread are my favorite staples, and in the summer time I’m looking forward to having some bingsu(shaved ice). They have a seasonal drink selection as well as their year round staples, so you can always have something new to try. I love this place and will definitely come back.

I haven’t quite decided what to think of this place, but I know I like it! Café Benne is foreign-based, and it shows a bit, there’s an odd assortment of items here: your normal coffees and lattes with bubble teas and waffles, gelato. It feels a bit like a coffee shop in Korea that is trying to be french themed, but then someone transplanted it into the middle of midwestern America. It also has a bit of a fake/veneer feeling to it, something I can’t quite put my finger on. Like I said though, I like this place, and none of this is a detractor from the fact that the atmosphere here is nice, quiet, and clean. The service is fast and friendly, and the food and drink are always good. It’s one of the few places in town you can get bubble tea(try the taro flavor) and I’ve had some of the sandwiches which have been great. You can also now get a small assortment of truffles from Elle’s Patisserie! They always have the salted caramel ones when I’m there, and usually 2 – 3 other assorted flavors. Those truffles, oh my lord. Recently had a seasonal strawberry latte type deal there which was fantastic! I would recommend their seasonal specials for sure, every time we’ve ordered them they exceed expectations. This is a fun little coffee shop; a little weird, but hey, I like that about it. Try it out.

Best Coffee in town. They actually call the cup sizes large, medium, and small. Better prices. Get the liege waffles. The size is just right, trust me. Alice and crew will treat you right.

Discovered this place last night and had to go back this morning! Café Saigon is my drink of choice. I like candy coffee. My co-worker ordered the Chocolate Frappé and loved it. She hates coffee and this doesn’t have any in it. She said it was better than Starbucks(which is our golden standard). We also split a blueberry muffin. It was very moist and the blueberries were huge! Next time, I want to try the waffles, they look delicious!

After finishing a Sunday lunch at Metropolitan Farmer,(just a couple doors down) decided to get some coffee. Caffe Bene was the perfect place! I’ve tried numerous hot drinks and all of them are up-to-par! The gelato isn’t exactly Italian quality, but is still mighty tasty. In fact some of the best I’ve had in a the last 6 months.(I love my gelato.) The only gripe I have is the service, while always very professional, the employees can come across as cool. Overall, if you’re looking for a caffe if Springfield, this is a great option! Conveniently located right off James River is also a plus.

Really, really good Arnold Palmer! Great looking, friendly staff, impeccably clean. I had Strawberry and Cheese Honey Bread. Honey Bread is a new thing to me. I don’t know if it’s supposed to be harder to cut than a steel belted radial or not. If it is, then their Honey Bread is spot on. It’s very, very hard to cut! The crust is tough and it takes a lot of chewing. But it’s also delicious! And the strawberries were SOGOOD! I liked the flavor but I’m not a big fan of the texture. I’ll go back though because I had a really hard time deciding what to have. Everything looked and smelled delicious. I want to try it all. Loved that it was child-free while we were there! Very quite, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere!

This is a really great coffee shop. It is the first place I go when I go to the farmer’s market. Caffe Bean is also one of the only coffee joints to offer almond milk for those of us that are lactose intolerant(and don’t like soy). They also have some delicious treats. I also have to mention the store itself. It is really cozy and awesome at the same time. Go there and you will see what I mean.

After two delicious experiences where we consumed an afogado, banana walnut honey toast, a strawberry frappé, an Asian shrimp sandwich, and a decadent salted caramel macaron, I’ve been waiting to try Caffe Bene’s ice parfaits for a warm day, and that day finally came today! The misugaru red bean ice parfait made me cry with happiness — so delicious! Red beans, gelato, shaved ice, matcha powder(I think?), sliced almonds, and mochi made this sweet treat perfect for a warm day at the farmers’ market. I somehow managed to eat it all! I’m definitely hooked on Caffe Bene now. South Korean food in a high-end coffee shop is exactly what I never knew I needed in my Springfield life. Thanks, Caffe Bene!

Café Bene is tucked in at the corner of Farmers Market of the Ozarks. The atmosphere is very French artist. Prices are a bit high but they don’t disappoint on the flavor. Rich smokey cheese and sweet ham pack the smoked ham and tomato quiche, even though I only had one piece of tomato. The dark chocolate macaroon was divine. My mocha frappé rivaled«that other» coffee place. The personalized theme song was very cute and blended in with the European techno lite music. On the slightly negative side was the lack of real silverware and slightly worn seats. The benches are a bit uncomfortable but all in all, a great experience. We will be back.

Stop! Before you read on — - I love my town. Springfield makes me happy. They make affogatto drinks here. Gelato and espresso. They make waffles here. Liege waffles which if you’ve never had them — don’t miss them. I am here on a Sunday. It’s at the farmers park pavilion this cold blustery and absolutely fabulous Sunday that I show up and BAM! Where am I? My town that I love? Or Vail? Yup I’ve been there. This place feels apre(sp?) ski and yet so also ozark familiar. Power outlets everywhere. Amazing natural light. Super slick yet comfy atmosphere. Date night? If I met someone and they asked me to go here I would give them instant style and class points. The coffee– it delicious. Not over burnt. Not over done. Perfect. And the plastic food — makes me want to come back and try everything! Can you go wrong here? No! Do I love my town? For so many reasons but the genius who conceptualized this hot spot makes me want to run out to all of you all’s houses this morning and invite you to join me for a cuppa and some warm conversation. Cause that is what this place seems to be all about friends. Springfield is my home. And I love it here for yet another reason!

Pros: comfortable size and décor. Great staff! And there is a little bit of everything. Coffee, pastries, sandwiches, gelato, demitasse cups, etc. Cons: very«commercial/chain store». The salted pretzel coffee was very average(and pricey). In fairness, I did not have any food items this trip(and will update if I return) but the foodstuffs did look pretty good.

Stopped by Caffe Bene after church on Sunday and found it to be a great place to stop in for a bite. We originally wanted to grab a quick bite, but after we got there, we ended up wanting to linger a bit and ordered dessert after lunch. It’s a nice place to drop in and just have a coffee or a sandwich AND dessert. Everything was handcrafted. I ordered an iced tea and it wasn’t poured out of a pitcher or in a dispenser. He brewed it after I ordered it! I had a chicken teriyaki sandwich, which I really liked. The bread it was on was great, and I’m not really one to go on about bread, but it was worth going on about. It has a nice crunch on the outside but softer on the inside. For dessert, we decided to try the cinnamon caramel honey bread. Oh my, it was enough for 2 – 4 people and was, as I said, oh my! The bread is slightly sweetened w honey and you can get sweet or savory toppings on it. It was just a bit crisped on the outside and again soft on the inside. It was a great melding of the textures. And did I mention cinnamon and caramel? Well, there you have it! I will definitely go back. I’m looking forward to trying the quiche and the waffles and the bubble teas and the soups… well you get the idea! Do yourself a favor ANDGOIN!

Caffe bene stands out from all other coffee shops in SPFD with quality coffee and desserts that you can’t find anywhere else. The atmosphere is modern yet warm. Would totally recommend!
