The ambiance was very nice. Not too upscale. I have been there 3 times. First granddaughter. Was told different rate 3 times. Owner there and she changed the price I had originally. Her haircut was screwy once she washes her hair. Second time granddaughter again. Told us her haircut would be considered an adult price if they had to wash hair. They should have been up front about this. Haircut was cute. I got my first haircut there and loved it. Went back over the weekend and had a really horrific hair cut. I will just have to grow it out. Hairdresser didn’t listen to my direction. Haircut $ 45 could have gone to supercuts. So never again. They need to learn to listen to customers expectations.

New client. Called to reschedule my 2nd appointment and I was not even marked down in the system. Made a new appointment (only my second appointment) and I was running late, as life sometimes happens. I was only 10 minutes late and the stylist decided to cancel my appointment after I walked in the door because there was not enough time. I thought that was the whole point of an appointment, to set time aside for the client. The last time she cut my hair it took her a total of 15 minutes to actually cut my hair, as it is fine and not long. I would not make another appointment with them just to have it be canceled again and again. Overpriced for the quality of work.

I’ve always dealt with frizzy, thick, wavy hair. I found Studio 417 on Instagram a little over two years ago, which also came with my first helpful haircut! Since my first Ouidad haircut with David, I finally have a cut the actually works for my hair. I’ve since moved 10 hours away, but have traveled back to have my hair done by David (because he is that good!). My morning hair prep time has gone from over an hour to less than 30 minutes — straight or curly.
I would highly recommend David to anyone looking for a new stylist!

Love this salon. I have been once and honestly can’t wait to go back. Nice atmosphere, clean, and Mac was awesome. She fixed what another salon messed up and I am sooooo pleased. I recommend this salon to everyone.
