CHUCK E DISEASES, WHERE A KIDCANGETSICK!!! I was invited to attend a birthday party at 3:00 p.m., was STILL waiting on food at 5:00 p.m. Finally we got the food, had to send back the chicken because it was cold… as in. NOT fully cooked! When the cooked chicken arrived it was spicy instead of barbecue, my daughter had to spit it out! My daughter has one kidney and after the chicken incident, I was so scared she would eat something to shut that one down but she was hungry! After a trip to the sorry salad bar, I was done! I found a fig newton bar in my bag and gave that to her, stayed to sing happy birthday and left! The floor in front of the soda dispenser was SO sticky, I felt like spider man walking the floor! And the bathroom was so nasty, I told my kids to hold it because we were leaving! There was vomit on at LEAST two rides! I was there for this party from 3:00 — 5:00 p.m., I NEVER saw anything get cleaned! Including the tables after people left! I am upset that I had to give this place one star!

Chuck E. Cheese is a madhouse but the girls catering my daughters party were amazing. Her party was scheduled during the Saturday rush, at 5pm. It was so crowded you literally bumped into people moving from one game to the next. The men’s bathroom was clean considering the amount of people. Most of the games/rides were working properly. Kudos again to the friendly staff, I appreciated their assistance. The cons… 1000 tickets for a plastic whistle that’s $ 0.50 at Dollar General. It’s disappointing to a toddler when he/she can’t get something fairly decent. I think corporate should rethink the value of the prizes. My rating is based solely on the staff.

It really saddens me to have to write a not so great review about this establishment because I have been going here with my family since I was little. It’s just not the same as it used to be. I’ve been here twice in the last 6 months and both times were just not pleasure able at all. The staff were unhelpful and rude. The place was dirty, food all over the floor, non cleaned restrooms. And my food I ordered never came out! I had to actually go up and ask where it was after over 40 mins. I will not be returning ANYTIME soon!

My five year old was invited to a 6 year old birthday party here. I was actually impressed. He had a blast. Place was clean, and empty other then the birthday party we were attending. So that’s probably what made it so good. All the kids seemed to have lots of fun, loved the tickets system and enjoyed the pizza. I wouldn’t hesitate bringing him back. I think the tip of getting here when it opens is a clutch idea. That way it’s not so dirty.

I was so happy when it was closed. Little did I know it was for renovations. The premise in theory is great but it seems it’s just a place for non working parents to flop while their unruly children cause havoc on the better behave kids. I had my child at a game holding her up as she was 2 at the time. A little kid literally wedged himself between is ms the game and proceeded to play the game on our token. The parents or parent was no where to be found. I wouldn’t go back there if they were offering free cars.

This place has potential. As soon as you walk in there is an employee standing there waiting to stamp your hand and your child’s hand with the same number. If the numbers don’t match up when you leave then they obviously know there is a problem. I guess it adds some sort of security for the parent. Perhaps, it offers a false security. So, it was a monday when I came here with my two year old. It was not crowded at all… maybe 10 kids total. We had the six mini slice pizza, an apple juice, a diet coke and one of their kids cups. It came to $ 11 and change. They gave us a number to place on a stand at any table we chose. The dining area had a dingy smell. It was as if the rugs were never washed. The pizza was edible. I wouldn’t dare try anything else. I especially wouldn’t try their salad bar for one of their $ 6.99 salads. They have a play area with a winding slide that overlooked the arcade area. There are some cute games and rides for kids my age and older. Everything was basically one token. A few rides were two tokens. The games are cheap but you don’t get a lot of tickets and the prizes are horrendous. Now I know why my mother NEVER took me to Chuck E Cheese. I will not be back often, but since its so close it will provide my son with a gaming quick fix.

I was invited by one of my girlfriends to take our kids there one afternoon for lunch. I had never been there before but my 4yr old wanted to go and play with her friend so we went. It was the middle of the week. We walked in and sat at a table and ordered a pizza and some sodas. ok nothing exciting but what do you expect. Now, my friend had been there before so she was warning me that we had to stay pretty close to our kids. the first thing I saw was someone dressed in a chuck e cheese costume come out and all the kids flocked to him. he threw out tickets or coins or whatever and it was chaos. I wouldn’t let my daughter go over and thank God I didn’t. it was like a bunch of cockroaches swarming around a trashcan. it seemed to me that there were quite a few«daycares» there and the few adults that were there with the kids didn’t really care or pay attention to any of them. After eating, we grabbed our tokens and walked with the kids while they went from game to game. Seriously, my kid almost got robbed by some of these little savages quite a few times. they were walking up to her either telling her to give them her tokens or they were trying to just take them out of her hands, not to mention she would put a token in to play and they would push her out of the way to play! I don’t think so! The little ones still had fun but this was ridiculous. If I ever go back there it would be later in the afternoon after lunch when all the little animals from the daycare leave. it did quiet down and make a difference after they all left

I would give CHUCK E DISEASES zero stars if I could. STAYAWAY!!! The location in north wilmington de is ATROCIOUSLYDIRTYANDDINGY. So much so the last time I took my kids there they all got sick. One got a cold the other got a cold & pink eye. They DONOT clean the equipment and rides. Nothing about this place is sanitary. THINKTWICE about bringing your kids here. Unless you like to give your kids antibiotics. I will NEVER Bring my kids here again. Every time I see a commercial on tv for this Petri dish establishment I wanna throw up. They really need to change their slogan to «CHUCK E DISEASES, WHERE A KIDCANGETSICK!!!» Nasty!!!

My 3 kids and I went last night. The pros: Tokens are pretty cheap. They have great games even I love playing. Every game is just 1 token. They stamp hands upon entering and check hands when leaving for security. Cons: Cleanliness is Not a propriety until closing. Most Employees are under the age of 20. They are nice but could care less. The bathroom was atrocious. When you have an establishment that caters to children, you must take a priority to clean the the restroom at least every half hour. It was foul. Shame too cause I would visit more if not for that. I was too scared to try the food due to lack of care. I wonder if they wipe games every night?

OK. Here is the secret. Take your kids to McDonalds to eat just prior to coming here. Then let them run around like kids for an hour. Plenty for little ones to do, and for only a quarter a game. They won’t «bust you» for not buying food. Cheaper if you buy tokens in bulk. The food is lousy, and the kids are too busy running around they won’t want to eat. Anyway, you will have to chase them around while your lousy pizza just sits there. Maybe I am paranoid, but I like to keep my food and beverages near me at all times.
