Every time I come here I leave empty handed and angry. Wishing someday I could find a good deal, but nope. They want waaaay too much for used items. I van hit the clearance rack at retail stores for a better deal. They also refused to honor a sale price they posted on a dry erase board. Dont plan on trying on clothes either unless byou want to do it in front of everyone, they don’t have a dressing room.

I agree with the other posters, the red rack store is better, but I can usually find what i need

OK, I’m posting about this place in terms of giving good used clothing to the D.A.V. It would be better if the D.A.V. Thrift Store gave away the top copy of the receipt and kept a carbon copy on file. That’s what the Goodwill does on Battlefield. This is helpful. The D.A.V. system isn’t like that. Correction: The Goodwill does not give you a carbon copy, but they sign your copy.

I’m totally with Sebastian K. on this one, folks. It is not as good as the DAV on Glenstone or the DAV«Red Racks» store on Kansas Expwy, but it will do… you can find some pretty neat things now and then. This is a small store and not the cleanest. However when I compare it to the Salvation Army thrift store located next door, it comes out miles ahead. This DAV store does not have a lot of housewares or furniture(barely any of the latter); they do have tons of clothing and I almost always find some cute, well-priced shoes here. I also found a no name Gucci-esque bag that I get compliments on every day I carry it, I think it was around 4 dollars. This is the kind of place you have to go with an open mind and come back frequently… I know not everyone has that kind of patience!
