One of my favorites! We’ve found lots of electronics here like phones, mp3 player, and digital camera at very great prices! And I really enjoy being able to find lots of Target items here, I’ve found string lights, shower curtain hooks, night stands, kitchenware, artwork, and general home goods all from Target here! I love it when I walk in and they have the metal carts out with new items.

I don’t shop here very often, although I do love thrift shops. I just love this Goodwill because I donate stuff all of the time. They make it easy. They give you a receipt sort of thing, they are prompt, etc. When I’m in the mood to hit thrift shops, I’m not usually on Battlefield Street, so that is why I never shop here to buy stuff. No doubt it is my own loss.

This store is clean and well organized, and I have never had any problems with rude staff. However, the prices are completely insane in MOST cases, I pass over tons of items due to the prices being nuts… thrift store prices should not be exactly the same as regular retail. Shoes are the worst, they have a sign saying all shoes start at 3 – 4 bucks but then even the worst shoe is marked like 8 bucks on the bottom — why?! I wonder if the people who price Goodwill houseware items in particular ever shop for housewares in stores? Like $ 8 for a single baking pan or dish? You can get that cheaper at higher end specialty stores like Bed Bath and Beyond, people. I agree wholeheartedly with the review that mentioned their prices on Target goods being crazy; I see this every time I shop Goodwill. In fact, I’ve found items cheaper on clearance at Target than they are 2 years later in this Goodwill store. I live in Springfield but will drive all the way to the Ozark, MO Goodwill because they seem to have slightly lower prices and a little better selection. I do shop at this Goodwill but I think they are pricing themselves right out of business. It is worth checking in now and then, though, for the occasional great find… I have two $ 6 chairs that someone priced totally wrong, they should have been $ 30 at least… and my cool sofa pillows were a buck apiece with original tags still on, while some urine-scented green crocheted pillow is $ 4. Sometimes it is like playing the lottery.
