Econo Lodge I-44 – Exit 80

This is my home away from home. It is comfortable, affordable and convenient to the places I need to visit while in springfield. I highly recommend this to my sister truck drivers. I never feel like I am forgotten about or afraid to walk to the restaurant across the parking lot. I however do use common sense. Pet friendly, free wifi, complementary breakfast, pool, ice machines and coin laundry. Fax and copy and computer available in the lobby.

Nice, pet friendly hotel right off of the interstate, which was great for our family, we are moving from a few states away and this was just the right spot for an overnight stop. The per pet price was $ 10 on the night that we stayed. Walking into the room, I think it must have been a past smoking room, because it smelled a little of stale smoke, or maybe it was coming from another room in the area, but it still smelled a little. It was COLD when we walked in, which was fantastic coming in from the hotter weather in the area. It was really clean, the beds were comfortable, and when my husband went to the front to get more shampoo and a razor they were more than accommodating. I’m not sure about the area in Springfield, not sure I’d want to live there, but for our overnight stay it was just fine. OH and they DO offer a military discount which was also very nice and welcome!

I stay at this hotel a lot. Had a couple problems when I checked in, but a manager named Trisha addressed every concern. The staff is friendly and I like this hotel

We ended up here after another hotel called around looking for vacancies (what was I thinking, not making reservations on a holiday weekend). We were worried that there might be a reason there were vacancies. But we were SO pleasantly surprised. The room was very nice and the free breakfast was wonderful, waffles, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy. Everyone from the front desk to the cleaning crew was very nice and friendly. All this for a lot less than the other hotels where we stopped.
