I booked this room through . When I arrived in the lobby it was steaming hot, the lights were out and after waiting for some time a woman spotted me and rolled her eyes. She was sweating thru her shirt, annoyed that she had to check me in and was just down right rude. I was checking in for a friend who was going to stay there and needed my assistance to set it up before he arrived. She starting asking me extremely inappropiate questions regarding my relationship with my friend like what are my intentions helping him. Will I be sleeping in the same bed etc. When I booked the room it was under my friends name only and that he would be the only occupant. I also explained that to her but she felt she needed more information that did not relate to the stay at this hotel whatsoever. I told her that I was leaving and I will find another hotel and that she was very rude. I also believe she is racist. She smiled and cocked her head and said«fine but I am charging you anyway». I told her there is no way that will happen and she said«oh yes you will, I promise you that». She those things and more but she had such a thick middle eastern accent I could not understand her. I called who took immediate action and assured me there will be no charge. If you are considering staying at this hotel I urge you to reconsider. I have read other reviews online and all were negative reviews. They have no idea what customer service even means and I’m sure do not care.

This is the type of place where your Significant other as just kicked you out of the house late at night and need somewhere to sleep for the night. When I started to take a shower what I hope was dirt came out at the same time as the water. It was kind of a light brown color so it kind of looked like blood. The room smelled when I got inside. It’s just not a great place.

I pulled in and requested a room when I saw the inexpensive price on their sign($ 24.95+/night), then was stunned when they handed me my credit card receipt and I saw they’d charged me more than $ 60(I understand $ 10 extra for a pet, but that’s all). My «no smoking» room had cigarette burns in the bedspread. The bathroom light didn’t work, which meant the sink wasn’t clean(they obviously couldn’t see to clean it). The walls weren’t soundproof: I heard the people upstairs having sex and the TV of the people next door(it was on all night). I’ve had luxurious rooms elsewhere for this same price and only stayed here because of the cat I had to bring along. I talked to the innkeeper the next morning who initially refused to adjust the price, then finally said he’d reduce my bill by $ 5.(He explained that the price on their sign is for workers who stay here during the week.) Yes, you get what you pay for, but I paid less for a room in Tucumcari, NM, the night before and had no complaints.
